If you select multiple visa subclasses or states (including 'Any'), your EOI will be disqualified. You may submit multiple EOIs in SkillSelect. Does this mean we cannot select multiple visa in EOI application? You said we can select multiple visa in the video.
You can select multiple visa subclasses in a single EOI, however, a few states like NSW ask for dedicated / separately submitted EOIs for their 190 and 491 visa nominations.
What should I put as reference number in the skills assessment section? I have completed the CDR assessment from EA. So, will it be the application ID or EA ID. In most forums related to Australia migration people said it should be EA id. However, you mentioned about 6-digit number, that is only be the application ID. So, which one should I put as the reference number?
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters After submitting the EOI do I need to wait for the outcome for Canberra PR? Or I can directly apply for Canberra matrix now after submitting my skillselect EOI?
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters But have not received any invitation from skills select,. I applied for both 491 and 190. How would i come to know for which visa I am eligible to apply for Canberra Matrix?
Thanks for your video. but one question. What number should we enter in the reference number/receipt number field if we have received our assessment from EA? EA ID or Application ID?
This is really helpful, thanks for making this extensive step by step process video. Since, you mentioned what matters more is "EOI initially submitted on", so do you recommend that one must submit the EOI if they have got their skill assessment and PTE, but the spouse is still under process which could take another 3 months. I understand that the points will be less initially, but after 3 months, we can always update the EOI to claim more point, right? OR shall we wait for 3 months and it's better to submit EOI with more points at first.
My friend who is civil engineer is asking 1. how can he apply as civil draftsman in sub class 491 when he has no experience in civil draftsman after graduation. 2. And if he gets skill assessment from Engineer Australia, then his skill assessment outcome will be civil engineer, not as civil draftsman. So how can he apply as civil Draughtsman being a civil engineer without experience?
1. He can get skills assessment as Civil Engineering Draftsperson 312211 from EA as they allow assessment without experience too 2. He can select the occupation code of Civil Engineering Draftsperson 312211 while submitting the application to EA, but he will have to go through CDR pathway in such case
is it okay to create multiple EOI’s for each state that you prefer? and once you invited to your preferred state, can we just withdraw the other chosen states?
First you need to get your skills assessment done from the assessing authority suitable for your occupation, after which you submit the EOI to be in the pool for next invitation rounds.
Sir, how to add multiple designations if work in same company? one by one or just total duration with designations with /...and should we write only assessed date from VETASSESS ?or we can write actual employment dates?
You will add the latest designation of this same company as per your employer's reference letter in your EOI with the start date as per Vetassess' date deemed skilled.
Hi! Queensland migration is closed since May 2024. It says that "if I am not selected this financial year (2023-2024), I can submit a new EOI once the program opens for 2024-2025 program year". Should I withdraw my current EOI and submit a new EOI for Queensland?
I have a Bachelors (Honours) degree from Ireland. In my VETASSESS outcome letter it says it is comparable to an AQF Bachelor degree. Should I state in my EOI that I have an Honours or a Bachelor degree? Thank you.
Thanks for the video, I have 2 questions: 1. Is PY required if I have 1 year of work expereince? 2. How do I get the skill assessment from the relevant accessing body?
1. Depends on your assessing authority. ACS requires 2 years of experience while Vetassess can do in 1 year. If you do PY, then you can get your skills assessment done without work experience too 2. You need to apply for the skills assessment on the assessing authority's portal as per their criteria.
Hi sir i completed masters degree(coursework)in cyber security so i am confused whether i should select YES or NO for option “Has the client achieved a post graduate specialist qualification” can you please confirm?
Assalamoalaikum Umer bhai I have submitted EOIs for all states separately for 190 and 491 respectively except for QLD i have submitted a single EOI for both subclasses is it the same case with SA as well?
It means it will be better to create multiple eoi IDs to lodge for different states? In my case, i am applying for nsw, vic & tas. So, 3 different eoi will be fine. __ And is it safe to withdraw other eoi if invited from at least one of these? Doesn't it lower the chances of visa grant? Kyuki kuch state sey kam points mey vi grant ho sakte hey aur kahi jyada points pey hi competition hota hoga...Clear me on this sir please.
Follow the ACS outcome letter. Close the previous employment as per actual end date and start the new employment as per your actual start date of new job in the EOI.
Very useful video, much appreciated Client’s occupation is under MLTSSL and the partners occupation under STSOL. Partner doesn’t have skills assessment done . Could we say that partners occupation is in the list ?
Hi Sir thank you so much for your video. can you please let me know the possibility of submitting an EOI for NT now? i am residing in darwin and recently finished my study. do i want to wait until NT opening for EOi for submitting application on skillselect website? Thank you
You can submit your EOI for NT, however, to submit its Nomination Application via NT's website, you need to wait for the state to open their program for the current FY.
If I work as a casual and my working hours cannot claim for the point because of working hours. Do I still need to mention it on working experience on the EOI ? Thank you
First of all thank you for guidance. Sir i have been receiving my salary in cash since 6 years. How to claim for experience points as i dont have any tax relatex docs. Please respond . Thank you
You need payslips as well as at least one 3rd party / govt issued payment evidence such as tax return docs, employment linked insurance statement, superannuation or provident fund contribution statement.
I have submitted my EOI by selecting one subclass visa which is 491 and one state which Tasmania now I want to submit another EOI with 190 visa in a same state, please suggest how to submit another EOI
I am lodging an EOI for the 189, 190, and 491 visas and desperately need some help. I am a Mechanical Engr with 70 points. 1. While selecting visa types, should I select 189 and 190, or 491 as well? Will I still receive 189 or 190 invitations if I receive an invitation for 491? 2. For the preferred locations within Australia (In which State or Territory would the client be interested in receiving a nomination from?), should I select ANY, WA, or other states as well?
1. No, if you are invited for 491, you will not receive the invite for 189 and 190 through the same EOI 2. Recommended practice is to submit separate EOIs for 189, NSW 190, NSW 491, and one each for other states including both subclasses
Thank you so much for such informative video I have a query I have my positive skill assessment for ANZSCO 149914 Financial Institution Branch Manager. As per my knowledge I only qualify for subclass 491 can I submit single EOI mentioning states WA,NSW,South Australia and ACT
You can submit a single EOI for 491 for all these states except for NSW, as NSW asks for a dedicated / separately submitted EOI for their 491 nomintion.
If I have no kids and only my spouse is included in the application. How should I answer the question "Are there any family members the client would like to include in a future application"? Shall I say yes and add 1, or say no, since I already mentioned my spouse in the previous question?
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters is it possible to get invited for both or just only one visa if ever I submit one EOI with both ticking the 2 visa options?
Yes, with at least B for each of the 4 test components of OET, you will get the points of Proficient English in the EOI for the Independent skilled visa along with positive skills assessment for your nominated occupation.
Thank you so much for the informative video, it really worked for me and made my life much easier. I just had few questions, I submitted an EOI in which I selected 190 and 491 in a single EOI for South Australia, and now I am confused from the comments. Should I have ticked 189 too and include all three in a single EOI?? or for 189 for SA I should just do a new EOI? Can you please advice. In addition I am an SA graduate and my nominated occupation is chemist based on your other video on ROI, I submitted and ROI and I just selected for the stream SA graduate and visa subclass 190, as you cant select many visas in a single ROI, is that what I should do or I need to submit another ROI for SA for 189 and 491 too?? I would appreciate your help :) Thank you
You can submit a separate EOI for 189. This subclasses is not state sponsored, it is skilled independent visa subclass. For SA, you can submit a single ROI for either of the subclasses i.e. 190 and 491.
In the absence of Bank Statement and Tax return document, you should submit Reference Letter + Payslips + Employment Contract + At least one 3rd party issued employment related payment evidence such as superannuation statement, insurance statement, provident fund statement.
Hi Umar bhai. I saw you replied to each and every comment below. Thats amazing because nobody does that. I thought I might also get a reply to my ques? 1. I have positive skill assessment for Computer network and systems engineer and ICT support engineer both with 100 points (current work experience). Which one do you suggest me to apply with for victoria visa190? which one has higher chances? 2. I have applied my ROI with Computer network and systems engineer and now I got a positive skill assessment for my wife (secondary school teacher) but I cannot update my ROI because currently ROIs are closed. So can I just simply update skill assessment on skill select? or should I wait till ROIs are open again then I should update? Thank you!
1. Computer network and systems engineer has better chances of invite for VIC 190 at 100 points 2. You can update the partner's skills assessment section in your EOI for the time being, and then re-submit the ROI once it reopens after July 2024.
Hello. Thank you very much for all your informatives videos. I have two questions. I just submitted my EOI, but after I realized that I forgot to add one of my work experiences. Do you think is better to withdraw and start a new one or do you recommend me to update? On the other hand, I´m a contract administrator and I will like to apply in SA with the working in SA stream. I got 80 point for the 190 visa and 90 for the 491 visa. Which one do you think is better with those points. Thanks again.
You can update your existing EOI to add the missing work experience. For SA via working in SA stream, the good chances of invite for Contract Administrator occupation start from 85+ points. So, you can submit an EOI for SA including both 190 and 491.
Thank u for ur information, it was indeed a very much helpful video. I just want to ask that for each state and for each state's subclass (190, 491) and 189, do we have to make separate EOI? And if so can we create different EOI with same email address and with same details.
Yes, its better to submit separate EOI for 189 and for states. For some of the states like QLD, SA and VIC, you should submit a single EOI for both subclasses whereas for NSW, WA and ACT, you can submit separate EOIs for each of the subclass. You can do so by using the same email address and details.
Yes, if your partner can get positive skills assessment for his nominated occupation then you will get extra 5 points in your EOI as the primary applicant.
All depends on your occupation's demand + EOI points. Selection criteria varies slightly from state to state. Submit your EOI + ROI for all the applicable states and wait for your turn. ROI is required for a few states before pre-invite stage which is a separate dedicated application for the state, whereas, EOI is required as the first step for all the states as Expression of Interest for skilled migration visa category.
Thanks for the detailed guide, I have a accounting bachelor degree which was accepted by CPA Australia for skill assessment. Also, I have completed chartered accounting qualification. Can i add my CA qualification in education list (CPA skill assessment is not based on CA) ? if i can include what is the type of education can be selected from the dropdown list?
Sir very informative video. Can you answer one question. I have 8+ year of experience from one company, which will be giving me maximum points and assessed by EA, so is it fine i only mentioned that experience or it is mandatory to mention your present status/ experience?
Its up to you. If your current employment is also related to your nominated occupation and you have got employment documents to prove your years of experience, then you should add it too as your current employment in the EOI.
If you are offshore, you should submit EOI for all the applicable states as Software Engineer. You just need to confirm in the SOL list of which states, your occupation is listed.
Thank you on this informative video. Need a quick help. I am planning to apply for 190/189/491 Family sponsorship as Accountant General. My question is on IELTS. When I submit my documents (Education + Work Exp) with CAANZ for skill assessment - I am also submitting my IELTS Academic 7 result. Once the assessment is done and I submit my EOI, to increase points - can i take IELTS General test to and hopefully gain 8 points each OR do i have to take Academic test only. Please guide 🙏
I have submitted 190 EOI for NSW , which needs a separate eoi . however, how do i create a new EOI for 189 ? after loggin in , it takes me to the existing EOI with suspend and withdraw option. Because NSW needs a separate eoi as suggested by many how can i create a new eoi only for 189 i am unable to find that option after logging in. Thanks
Yes you can create a separate EOI by repeating the same process of signing up for a new SkillSelect account. Log out from your existing EOI and then register for a new EOI on SkillSelect using the same steps, and then submit the EOI for 189 separately.
Hi , Feb2024, I have submitted my EOI for all 8 states in australia by selected all visa type check boxes 189-190-491, and then additionally submitted my ROI for 3 states as SouthAustralia, Victoria, ACT Canberra. my points are 189-65, 190-70, 491-80 For me 491 visa is fine. one of my friend is telling, don't select all visa types while submit EOI but i selected all previously. 1. Now, Do i need to submit new/separate EOI only for 491 visa? 2. I already submitted ROI as well, if i submit new EOI, do i need to withdraw old ROI and need to submit new ROI ? please suggest. thanks
1. Submit separate EOIs for NSW 190 and 491, while you can submit a single EOI for all other states and subclasses 2. You can keep the ROI submitted and make sure its linked EOI should remain intact
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters I have edited/updated one of the previously EOI and unchecked other two visa types 189, 190 and kept only 491. Additionally I have submitted 2 separate EOIs for NSW-190, NSW-491. Now, 1. Feb2024, NSW-491 2. Apr2024, NSW-491 3. Apr2024, NSW-190 I have two EOIs for same subclass 491. 1. Can I keep both 491? Or will it impact my invitation ? 2. If impact yes, Can I suspend or withdraw any 491 EOI ? 3. Obviously Feb2024 EOI is seniority queue than Apr2024, so which EOI I can keep ? 4. How queue is working actually for 491 visa. Please suggest thanks
1. You should have a single EOI for NSW 491. Withdraw the duplicate one 2. Yes 3. You can keep the earlier submitted one 4. EOI's initial submission date matters
If I get two skills assessments from VETASSESS, then can I merge both of them for points? Suppose one job is of total 11 months and other one is of total 5 years and four months (continue)
Thank you for your comment. You cannot merge / use the skilled employment assessments of two different occupations in a single EOI, even if both could be assessed by VETASSESS.
Thank you so much for video and really appreciated. I have one question regarding EOI I have 50 points and i want to apply for visa 491. I have Positive skill assessment (Telecommunication Engineer). Am I eligible for 491 with these points which are 50+15. Can you suggest me which state is best for telecom engineers to get invitation?
You are eligible with 65 or more points to submit an EOI for 491 for your nominated occupation, however, the good chances of invite for your occupation start from 90+ points for 491.
NSW has specifically asked to submit separate EOIs for their 190 and 491 programs. Whereas, its preferred to submit separate EOIs for 189, WA 190 and 491 too. For other states, you should be submitting single EOI for each of the states for both subclasses.
In order to submit separate EOIs for two different states or subclasses, you will have to register two EOI accounts, which you can do by using the same email address.
Thanks for the video! Regarding the employment history, if I have worked for the last 10 years, but ACS only considered the last 7 years is valid, Should I still fill in the details for the deducted first 3 years? Or only fill in the valid period considered by ACS?
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters Thanks for your reply. What is your take on this idea that ANZSCO has a different definition from ACS when assessing the work experience, which also claims the deducted years. like in this video: ruclips.net/video/18OxqRb1Rok/видео.htmlsi=kj2_6mAq6dKWoGvM&t=236
Great work bro keep it up! Quick question just wanted to ask if i have overseas experience 2.5 year's only and i have assessed my degree only from EA will it be worth mentioning about the work experience.
Thanks for the informative video. With regard to employment history at 22.00 your saying that employment doesn't really need to be assessed by Engineers Australia(EA). Are you sure with this point? I have a Masters degree in mechanical engineering from Australia which is fully accredited by EA and have recently applied to get this asseed under the Australian qualification pathway. Prior to that I have work experiences but I have come to understand that I need to go with the CDR pathway as that work experience is after my Bachelors degree in India and it is not accredited by any accords. If suppose I claim work experience what evidence should I show should I get an invite?Appreciate if you could clarify on this?
Yes, the EA's Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment is optional to do because you have the option to directly add your relevant employment in your EOI for the past 10 years, if you have got all the required employment documents to submit after receiving the pre-invite.
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters thanks for your reply. I am an indian passport holder and my work experience was overseas in Qatar. I have worked for 2 employers. @@AustraliaImmigrationMatters thanks for your reply. My only concern is as my work experiences are prior to my Masters degree which I completed just last month, July 2024 and its the Masters degree that has been assessed by Engineers Australia. Hii Sir Great video In Eoi skill assessment page we need to put skill Assessment date we need to put first skill assessment date or updated letter of skill assessment date (which is left hand corner of letter)? 2) skill assessment reference number that Engineers Australia id number or application id number? Thanks sir
1. You need to use the date on which you got the positive skills assessment outcome letter, as per the letter issuance date i.e. on top of your name on the letter 2. Application ID
Thank sir and i have 2 skill assessment letter one is old and another one is updated skill assessment so i have to put updated skills assessment date? Thanks sir
I am on 485 visa onshore candidate can i submit multiple eois or i heard onshore candidate cannot apply for multiple eois Answer will be highly appreciated
So I am currently living in Victoria And I submit 189,190 and 491 in a single eoi in Victoria Can I also submit a separate eoi for other states as well?
No. As an onshore applicant, you are only allowed to submit an EOI for the state you are residing in. At max, you can submit an EOI for WA, as only WA allows interstate applications.
Hi Umer bhai. If i submit EOIs for 190 and 189 and if i get the preinvite for 190 only and not for 189 but my priority is to get the 189 considering its advantages then in that case what to do?
There is not much difference in these, both are PR visas. You should pursue for 190 if you have got that. However, if you want to skip it, you can simply leave the 190 invite as it is and wait for 189 invitation by submitting a separate EOI for that.
Very informative video. Sir, i have 3 questions to ask. 1) If in this scnerio my wife has not given PTE even then I can apply? 2) If my wife has no experience and has only BCOM IT, 2 years degree even then I can get 5 points by getting her skill assessment on the basis of degree? 3) You asked that for applying skill assessment of primary applicant relevent skilled employment assessment is optional thing. My question is that how employment related scores can be achieved without getting relevent skilled employment assessment? Thanks in advance, JazakAllah!
1. Yes you can still submit your EOI, and get the PTE exam of your spouse done and entered later 2. Yes, skills assessment in that case will only be possible on the basis of post-qualification work experience relevant to the selected occupation 3. If your occupation's skills assessment is allowed without going through the experience assessment, then you can use your employment documents as evidence later during the nomination application and visa lodgement stage for claiming the experience points directly
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters Sir, it is not IT it is infact commerce related field, Bachlor of Commerce. And how much experience is required to her to get her skill assessment in that field?
A successful skills assessment is required before an invitation. They would not accept a skills assessment after the invitation is given. This is very specific on the Home Affairs website.
You will mention Australia as your country and then select your state in the EOI under Usual Country of Residence section. You can add your relevant work experience in your EOI.

I have 2 positions in the same company with different salary, but salary is mentioned as final salary not previous salary. How should I mention in the EOI ? Should I mention same company with different positions or same company with only one position.
You should mention the same company name only once with your latest salary and latest job title, and for the proof you should get reference letter of your job showing the breakdown of your job titles with start and end dates along with the JDs.
Very informative video! But I have a small doubt, for 491 - on the 14th page - on the result section the total points being shown are including the additional extra 15 points or excluding 15 points? This case is for Western Australia EOI. Thanks in advance.
Your EOI just includes the expression of interest for state's nomination and those 15 points get approved once you are invited by the state after nomination approval.

Hi Sir, very good job and good information, thanks a lot. Let say, I have submitted EOI today and when I need to arrange for the medical "health examinations"? Can you please advice. Homeaffairs Subclass 190 website mentioned "We prefer that you have any health checks before you apply for the visa." under the step by step process. Thanks in advance.
But the problem is when I add masters degree than it becomes as my highest qualification and I should get it assessed from skilled authority. But I have bachelor degree which is already got assessed by them. I just want to claim 5 points from masters degree.
Thanks a lot, I have one more question, for eg. If I put masters under non- aqf accreditation.. than it shows bachelor becomes highest qualification to claim 15 points?? So what does non- aqf exactly means ?? Does this heading non- aqf put effect to claim 5 points??
Both Bachelor and Masters degree give same points in EOI i.e. 15. So it doesn't matter. You can avoid adding your Masters degree in your Education history and just keep your Bachelors degree there as highest qualification assessed positively by the skills assessing authority.
Hi Omar. Brother I have got my positive skill assessment by ACS. I am developer programmer. I have 80 points for 491 and 70 points for 190. Please suggest for which states should I apply and for which visa? What are my chances and how long it will take. Please reply. I am so confused.
First, you should try to improve your points by Superior level English, or skills assessment of your partner (if not already done). Good chances of invite for Developer Programmer occupation start from 85 points for 190 and 95 points for 491. You can submit EOIs for all the states in which your occupation is listed in their SOL list.

Both are acceptable as both track down the application outcome. Application ID is good to go too.

Better to submit EOI now and update it later with Partner's skills assessment details to further increase the chances before pre-invite stage.

2. And if he gets skill assessment from Engineer Australia, then his skill assessment outcome will be civil engineer, not as civil draftsman.
So how can he apply as civil Draughtsman being a civil engineer without experience?
1. He can get skills assessment as Civil Engineering Draftsperson 312211 from EA as they allow assessment without experience too
Yes, correct.
What happened after you submit EOI and l wish to know how to apply skills assessment.
Thank you.
You can wait for the QLD to open their new FY's program before withdrawing your existing EOI and submitting a new one.
Mistakingly i put wrong email and submitted the EOi 😢 how i can change it
You can create and submit a new EOI using the right email address.
I have a Bachelors (Honours) degree from Ireland. In my VETASSESS outcome letter it says it is comparable to an AQF Bachelor degree. Should I state in my EOI that I have an Honours or a Bachelor degree? Thank you.
Yes you can, if your degree states that its an Honours degree.
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters Amazing, thanks for the quick reply!
Thanks for the video, I have 2 questions:
1. Is PY required if I have 1 year of work expereince?
2. How do I get the skill assessment from the relevant accessing body?
1. Depends on your assessing authority. ACS requires 2 years of experience while Vetassess can do in 1 year. If you do PY, then you can get your skills assessment done without work experience too
2. You need to apply for the skills assessment on the assessing authority's portal as per their criteria.
Hi sir i completed masters degree(coursework)in cyber security so i am confused whether i should select YES or NO for option “Has the client achieved a post graduate specialist qualification” can you please confirm?
You should select "No" to this question, because your haven't completed Masters by Research.
I have a Bachelor's Degree from overseas and in my outcome letter from Vetassess. it says AQF Diploma equivalent. Do I put Bachelor or Diploma in EOI?
Diploma as per assessment outcome letter.
Assalamoalaikum Umer bhai I have submitted EOIs for all states separately for 190 and 491 respectively except for QLD i have submitted a single EOI for both subclasses is it the same case with SA as well?
Yes, follow the same for SA, they also discourage multiple subclass ROIs.
It means it will be better to create multiple eoi IDs to lodge for different states? In my case, i am applying for nsw, vic & tas. So, 3 different eoi will be fine.

And is it safe to withdraw other eoi if invited from at least one of these? Doesn't it lower the chances of visa grant? Kyuki kuch state sey kam points mey vi grant ho sakte hey aur kahi jyada points pey hi competition hota hoga...Clear me on this sir please.
Yes. You should submit separate EOIs for different states to enhance your invitation chances.
I had multiple jobs in one month so from ACS that one month overlap was adjusted, how do I fill that in EOI ? Please help.
Follow the ACS outcome letter. Close the previous employment as per actual end date and start the new employment as per your actual start date of new job in the EOI.
Very useful video, much appreciated
Client’s occupation is under MLTSSL and the partners occupation under STSOL. Partner doesn’t have skills assessment done . Could we say that partners occupation is in the list ?
If skills assessment is not yet done for your partner's occupation, then no need to mention your partner's occupation in the EOI.
Hi Sir thank you so much for your video. can you please let me know the possibility of submitting an EOI for NT now? i am residing in darwin and recently finished my study. do i want to wait until NT opening for EOi for submitting application on skillselect website? Thank you
You can submit your EOI for NT, however, to submit its Nomination Application via NT's website, you need to wait for the state to open their program for the current FY.
thanks Sir.

If I work as a casual and my working hours cannot claim for the point because of working hours. Do I still need to mention it on working experience on the EOI ?
Thank you
You can only add the full time employment in your EOI.
Do we need to apply eoi for each state separately and for each sub class separately?
Recommended practice is to submit separate EOIs for 189, NSW 190, NSW 491, and one each for other states including both subclasses
First of all thank you for guidance.
Sir i have been receiving my salary in cash since 6 years. How to claim for experience points as i dont have any tax relatex docs. Please respond .

You need payslips as well as at least one 3rd party / govt issued payment evidence such as tax return docs, employment linked insurance statement, superannuation or provident fund contribution statement.
Do I add the year Vetassess removes as qualifying year?
No. You cannot add the deducted years of work experience in your EOI.
I have submitted my EOI by selecting one subclass visa which is 491 and one state which Tasmania now I want to submit another EOI with 190 visa in a same state, please suggest how to submit another EOI
You can add the subclass of 190 by editing the existing submitted EOI for TAS.
1. No, if you are invited for 491, you will not receive the invite for 189 and 190 through the same EOI
Yes, you will mention 1 here in the EOI application in answer to this question.
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters Thanks, wish me luck! I am applying for 491 with a score of 85.

Hi! Is it ok to tick visas 189 & 190 under a one eoi application? Or do I need to create another Eoi application for visa 189 and visa 190?
You can select 189 and 190 in a single EOI, no issues with that.
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters is it possible to get invited for both or just only one visa if ever I submit one EOI with both ticking the 2 visa options?
You will be invited for either of the subclasses via one EOI.
I just need to get all the B symbols minimum on OET in order to apply, for the Independent skilled visa
190 and 491.
and what evidence of employment we need to submit if bank statement and IT return is not available ?
In the absence of Bank Statement and Tax return document, you should submit Reference Letter + Payslips + Employment Contract + At least one 3rd party issued employment related payment evidence such as superannuation statement, insurance statement, provident fund statement.
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters thanks
what should i write in the field "Course name"? the name of the occupation which i have confirmed? for example : engineering professionals (nec)?
No. You have to mention the actual course name as mentioned on your degree.
Thank you!
1. Computer network and systems engineer has better chances of invite for VIC 190 at 100 points
If I am the main applicant, then is it necessary for my partner to undergo skill assessment?
If he undergoes, does this add marks to my EOI?
Yes, if your partner can get positive skills assessment for his nominated occupation then you will get extra 5 points in your EOI as the primary applicant.
How much time it would take to get the decision? and what is the difference between ROI and EOI?
All depends on your occupation's demand + EOI points. Selection criteria varies slightly from state to state. Submit your EOI + ROI for all the applicable states and wait for your turn.
ROI is required for a few states before pre-invite stage which is a separate dedicated application for the state, whereas, EOI is required as the first step for all the states as Expression of Interest for skilled migration visa category.
Thanks for the video, my question is should we add actual work experience or only duration accepted by ACS in report
Only duration accepted by ACS as per the date deemed skilled on the outcome letter.
You cannot include your CA qualification in the EOI unless its assessed by the assessing authority.
What to fill in employment from date? Deemed date by assessing authority or actual date?
Date Deemed Skilled by assessing authority.
Thank you very much for the video. Can you please clarify if a partner gets a superior English score, the points we can claim in EOI are 5 or 10 ?
5
Excellent bro
Thank you.
Nice video.. one question . How can we add multiple english language results? I mean if i achieved OET score all B in two sitting.
Combining two test results such as One Skill Retake option is only allowed / accepted by DoHA for IELTS test, not for any other English language test.
Sir, what state are better for software engineer. My EOI score is 75. Kindly guide me in which and how many state I can apply.
You can take any English test i.e. IELTS Academic or General Training or PTE Academic to improve your points in EOI later.
Sir, we can use same email IDs for as many EOIs?

Feb2024, I have submitted my EOI for all 8 states in australia by selected all visa type check boxes 189-190-491, and then additionally submitted my ROI for 3 states as SouthAustralia, Victoria, ACT Canberra. my points are 189-65, 190-70, 491-80
For me 491 visa is fine.
one of my friend is telling, don't select all visa types while submit EOI but i selected all previously.
1. Now, Do i need to submit new/separate EOI only for 491 visa?
2. I already submitted ROI as well, if i submit new EOI, do i need to withdraw old ROI and need to submit new ROI ?
please suggest. thanks
1. Submit separate EOIs for NSW 190 and 491, while you can submit a single EOI for all other states and subclasses
2. You can keep the ROI submitted and make sure its linked EOI should remain intact

Now,
1. Feb2024, NSW-491
2. Apr2024, NSW-491
3. Apr2024, NSW-190

2. Yes
3. You can keep the earlier submitted one

@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters one more question. How many points will be added to my total if my spouse does IELTS General with 5 bands each ?
You can claim 5 points in your EOI if your partner scores at least 6 each in IELTS which is equivalent to Competent level English proficiency.
Thank you so much for video and really appreciated.
I have one question regarding EOI
I have 50 points and i want to apply for visa 491.
May I ask what is the main reason for submitted a separate EOI for each state? Thanks~
NSW has specifically asked to submit separate EOIs for their 190 and 491 programs. Whereas, its preferred to submit separate EOIs for 189, WA 190 and 491 too. For other states, you should be submitting single EOI for each of the states for both subclasses.
Do I need to register two EOI accounts? Or can I do two submissions under the same registered account ?
In order to submit separate EOIs for two different states or subclasses, you will have to register two EOI accounts, which you can do by using the same email address.

Or only fill in the valid period considered by ACS?
You should only fill in the details of your employment / experience years which are positively assessed by ACS, without the deducted years.

If your work experience is related to the nominated occupation, then its worth mentioning even if it is not contributing any points in the EOI.
without the assessment as well right?
Yes.
Can we able to amend employment data later ?
Yes, you can update your EOI anytime until you have received a pre-invite.

I am on 485 visa onshore candidate can i submit multiple eois or i heard onshore candidate cannot apply for multiple eois
Answer will be highly appreciated
You can only submit the EOI for the state in which you are currently residing in, provided you are fulfilling the state's nomination criteria.
So I am currently living in Victoria
And I submit 189,190 and 491 in a single eoi in Victoria
Can I also submit a separate eoi for other states as well?

For which occupation? And 80 points including state points for 190?

Sir, i have 3 questions to ask.
1) If in this scnerio my wife has not given PTE even then I can apply?
2) If my wife has no experience and has only BCOM IT, 2 years degree even then I can get 5 points by getting her skill assessment on the basis of degree?
3) You asked that for applying skill assessment of primary applicant relevent skilled employment assessment is optional thing. My question is that how employment related scores can be achieved without getting relevent skilled employment assessment?
Thanks in advance, JazakAllah!
One more question was that what would be the skill assessment body for BCOM IT?
1. Yes you can still submit your EOI, and get the PTE exam of your spouse done and entered later
2. Yes, skills assessment in that case will only be possible on the basis of post-qualification work experience relevant to the selected occupation
3. If your occupation's skills assessment is allowed without going through the experience assessment, then you can use your employment documents as evidence later during the nomination application and visa lodgement stage for claiming the experience points directly
All IT related occupations are assessed by ACS.
@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters Sir, it is not IT it is infact commerce related field, Bachlor of Commerce. And how much experience is required to her to get her skill assessment in that field?
@@mani9671 For B.Com education, the skills assessment is only possible for an occupation selected on the basis of work experience.

A successful skills assessment is required before an invitation. They would not accept a skills assessment after the invitation is given. This is very specific on the Home Affairs website.
That's correct!
Which option to select if you are in Australia? For country of usual residence?
And i have almost 1 year experience do i need to add for future use?

Please suggest thanks
You can keep the single EOI having both subclasses and one ROI for either 190 or 491, by linking the submitted EOI with it.

The total points shown are including the state nomination 15 points in the case of 491.
How to get state nomination before submitting EoI?
How can we prove that we are state nominated?
Your EOI just includes the expression of interest for state's nomination and those 15 points get approved once you are invited by the state after nomination approval.
Once state has approved your nomination application, your 15 points will be confirmed in your EOI for visa lodgement purpose.

You will be generating your HAP ID after submitting your 190 visa application from ImmiAccount to book and complete your medical examination.
But the problem is when I add masters degree than it becomes as my highest qualification and I should get it assessed from skilled authority. But I have bachelor degree which is already got assessed by them. I just want to claim 5 points from masters degree.
You can just tick the box for Australian Study Requirement and submit your Masters degree later at the time of documents submission.
Thanks 🙏🏻

@@AustraliaImmigrationMatters thank you so much. I am single. I did not get points for my work experience as its less than 3 years after deemed date. What I am left with is English scores or anything other I can do.
You can improve your English scores to Superior level and take NAATI exam for extra 5 points.
I really appreciate Omar. Thank you.
