Track Day Prep Upgrades + Cooling Ducts

- This S2000 smoked the brake at the last track day.
We added some larger Brake Ducts,
Intake with fresh air supply,
Larger rear Hubs
Roll Bar
Oil Pressure and Oil Temp Gauges
Re Tune for some more power.
The Owner is going to install upgraded brake when he receives them.
Possible it will come back suspension mods next.

I’ve used ducts with one pipe to each caliper and each rotor. They allowed me for a stock power car to run many laps without fade and rotors that didn’t crack. I think even pad life was lengthened . Was able to keep using the fluid for a year of tracking.

Thanks for the tip on the remote mount for the oil pressure sending unit. I've got some extra braided line left over from my toilet installation last month.
I don’t think I’d use that. Get something designed for oil.

John, I did a Hard Dog roll bar in my Miata... Excellent fit and quality. Had to buy a right angle pneumatic drill to do it. As I'm in the rust belt, I sprayed the bar and backing plates with rubberized undercoating ;) Thanks for the quick video on track prep.

wow! have you considered selling this remote mounted oil pressure gauge? Why were the s2000 smoking - burning oil?
What wheel size and offset was that front CE28 to fit the Brembo? And what size wheel spacer??
I would like to buy a set of these air scoops. do you sell them or can you tell me where I can buy them. I don't need the tubing to the brakes.

We don’t. This is one we had in stock from my car we never used.
