Bantam just means small. I grew some Bantam sweet corn a couple years and it was just short. Course ‘short corn’ is still 6 foot tall. Tasted good too. But I grow another variety now that is Chadly tall

In addition to increased fracture risk to the wearer boxing gloves also allow for harder, more damaging blows witch puts the recipient at greater risk of concussions. Sure getting cut from a knuckle blow looks gruesome, but those were usually fine with a little warm water and a bandage. Compare that to receiving brain damage which can easily be permanent.
I love your content and I understand its for entertainment purposes but to clear up a few things. I was a lightweight in amateur boxing in my teens and had to wear headgear until I came to age 18 and could choose to wear or not. Both fighters had to agree and there's also like paperwork you have to sign and be qualified for it like physicals and health conditions. I do agree with the weight classes lighter sound really weird. The welter weight class sounds like it pops out of nowhere as well. Like a synonym for the word "middle" would seem more ideal. As much as the sport boxing seems very dangerous its actually one of the safest sports you could play besides like golfing, tennis or volleyball because of the restricting rules and everyone that is involved in your corner, doctors, and the referee are all looking out for your safety and can stop whenever they think is necessary. But I do think you made good points and I agreed with most of your opinions. Great video, I really enjoyed 👍😂
Realistically speaking, the only weight classes that should exist are Lightweight, Middle-Weight, and Heavyweight. OR, if you want something more cool sounding... Bronze Class. Iron Class. Steel Glass.

A Welterweight is a lot bigger than a lightweight And a lightweight is bigger than a flyweight and vice versa There are a lot of weight classes because there’s a meaningful size difference just 10 pounds up. Most fighters cut a substantial amount of weight to get a size advantage. Dustin Poirer who fights at 155 walks around at 180-185. Welterweights are even bigger, likely walking around at 190-200+ pounds If there was only three weight classes fight cards would look a lot like Pride. A lot of fighters would be undersized
