The Olympic games!
They just happened a week ago and I wanna talk about it now (cus making animated videos is a headache), because I have some revolutionary ideas that will make them 100x better (or make em 100x worse, you decide)
Enjoy.

dude, the olympics have ALWAYS been about genetics. ALWAYSSS, it's literally who can do the best in the entire world, having genetics not play a role is absolutely stupid and not realistic. which is why that imane debate was irritating, its her literal genes and training that made her become the best, just like every athlete ever
*the olympics have always been separated by sex because of sex-based difference. Imane has a male-type DSD and male-level hormones meaning they went through male puberty. They may as well start saying that skinny enough blokes can enter womens boxing at this point lol
@@jh3328lol are you implying that Imane is a transgender woman? Because she is not, she is actually from Algeria where it is incredibly illegal and dangerous to be a part of the LGBT community :/ even then some women just produce more testosterone than others, that doesn't mean they're trans
@@jh3328 There is literally no evidence that she went through male puberty. The single test that people point to was done by a Russian-backed organization, who began testing her after Imane beat a previously undefeated Russian boxer. They refused to show a shred of evidence that led them to conclude that she has Y chromosomes, but used the results to disqualify her anyway, which conveniently allowed Russia to remain undefeated in the world championships last year. That's why they were dropped by the IOC.
Imane is as good as she is in part because she's just genetically built for it, and in part because she's been boxing since she was a kid. Also, she was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Tokyo Olympics but people seem to conveniently gloss over that part.
Not to mention, Algeria is one of those countries where being LGBT is straight up illegal. They would sooner kill a trans athlete than pay to have them represent the country. Why would they send Imane out to represent them if she was under that umbrella?
@@jh3328 There's no evidence she went through male puberty. If anything there's evidence to the contrary.
It definitely is realistic because many of the white people that play in the hundred meter dash always lose to the Africans or Black people and it’s like y’all suck so bad at running like y’all try to jog as slow as possible😂

Watch in 8 years from now when Hafthor Bjornsson wins the gold in the womens 52kg wrestling category, the paralympics will be where the normal people are.
@@GradeAUnderA Daddy Grade.
Things that should be in the Olympics:
•Horseback Archery (Mongolia would dominate)
•Synchronized Skydiving (with Country Themed Parachutes)
•Strongman Boulder Lifting (How is this not a thing already?)
•Hoplite Race (50 pounds of Ancient Greek armor and a big shield. Bring this back immediately!)
Mongolia will face some worthy competition in Inner Mongolia and Russia if their horseback archers are also all Mongolians.
Horseback archery is the perfect way to combine two relatively boring events into an awesome one. Has my vote for sure.
Genghis khan is their relative so ofc
I have a feeling the Olympics doesn't want to host events where the survival of the contestants is completely up to the integrity of their kits.

Almost a decade earlier: "The Paralympics are dumb."

And once again, he mentions horse sports.
There is already a big movement with a fair amount of funding to make the "Anabolic Olympics". It's called the Enhanced Games!
I think it would be interesting to see. I know there's a lot going on with why they might not want to allow steroid usage like that. However, seeing how far the human body can go with help, whether an enhancement or technology boost or medical boost, I think could be really entertaining due to the natural extremes it takes. That said, I can see lots of not so good things happening too. But I think under the right conditions, it should be allowed I think.
a big point i saw about it is that its still probably not going to be "the peak" of human performance. the genetic phenomes r probably making a metric shittonne of money in their respective sports already, which are generally "drug free" so they can't just go compete in the enhanced game then go back to their natural sport. and even if u dont make a living off performance or at the top of it, u might be at the cusp of it so would u really want to burn ur bridges for an enhanced games?
that removes so many top tier candidates that i don't think its even going to be that much better than e.g. the olympics
@WildWombats ...not so sure about technological enhancements.
Then again, watching the 100m with someone enhanced with a rocket suppository would be at least interesting.
@@95rav I mean it doesn't have to b as extreme as u may b thinking. Think of the swim suite or shoes that has been banned or had restrictions now. Or the javelin which has been purposefully made to not fly as far
:O really? I'm all for it, but tht movement won't go anywhere cus we already have an enhanced games where everyones on steroids, its called "The Olympic Games"
At least the breakdancer won't be forgotten this year
Who? Oh that girl, damn, you made me remember. Gonna try another memory wipe for that one.
the breaking competition was really fun and exciting, doesn't require big new venues to be built and is over in a jiffy. But of course it had to be overshadowed by LE SILLY FLOPPING FISH DANCE making a mockery of the entire thing.
I realised that even with my zero experience break dancing I too have what it takes to be an Olympic break dancer.
As an Australian, I feel like we will never stop apologising for this abomination…..
@@yegud852 You don't.
bro Imane Khalif didn't take testosterone . . . she literally has a natural condition called PCOS that makes her have higher levels of testosterone, which makes it easier for her to gain muscle. also, she isn't insanely strong or anything, literally the italian boxer she fought could barely benchpress 20 POUNDS, and she's lost several games before
I think the anabolymics would be great for women. Just jack them the fuck up and watch them go. Women's sports can be pretty damn metal at times already. It would only get better on roid rage.

“Post-Susan Era” hits different now
Have the normal person Olympics. You CAN'T volunteer or sign up for it. All contestants are scouted from the grocery store and gas stations. Then, who ever wins gold gets to have a shot in the real olympics.
No it's a lottery. Everyone gets a number and then a lottery machine picks who competes in what sport.
@@TheJohnpants That could be interesting, but I wouldn't use that work all the contestants. We want normal people, the lottery system could end up picking...an Olympic level athlete (boring, same as regular Olympics) or a quadriplegic. (entertaining, but doesn't represent the average person)
What you described is almost word for word Stephen King's The Long Walk. The one difference is "gets a shot at the olympics" would just be "gets shot".
I would LOVE a lottery style Olympics where the idea is you get some average person from every country and they compete in whatever. Maybe even give them time to train and stuff a bit. I think the only thing stopping this is the insane publicity these people might end up getting and not wanting.
It should be like the recruitment process for Squid games. Some random guy in a suit challenges you to some random game in a subway station, and if you win, off to the olympics you go.
The Olympics should have a RUclips channel. They should upload each individual sport contest as a series of videos that you can watch in progressive order weeks after the Olympic events have concluded. That's the best way I can imagine watching the Olympics. Also, just think of the RUclips revenue they could make on the side.
That would lower the price of the broadcast rights networks buy. Probably by much more than any amount of RUclips add rev would make up for.
But yes, that would definitely be the best way to have the Olympics archived for the public.
They 100% should, but they won't cus the TV rights for each country are probably profitable af, YT ad revenue is probably nothing in comparison.
But I had no idea how hype volleyball was, same for table tennis, and archery too. I wonder which other random af sports I would find out are top tier.

Wait till he realizes that there is nothing free about freestyle swimming. You still get disqualified for swimming wrong. :D
not really, theres not really any rules but front crawl is the fastest technique. theoretically people could do doggy paddle or tread water down the pool but no one does because its slower
You just have to stay consistent with whatever style you do choose. I believe. As well as you have to break out of the water before 15 meters, can't swim underneath the whole way.
@@George-nx4bpwhy that 15m rule? If I can swim say 40m without coming out for air why not? If the swimmer wants to risk drowning to push the limits I think we should let them
There should be a Mystery Event where countries can send whoever they want but no one knows beforehand what it will be. Pushing a pencil with your nose for ten meters? Making and throwing paper airplanes? Its always a surprise!
How about the game: I lick something you don't lick. Its like I spy with my little eye, but you get the picture 😊
The Renaissance Man Challenge
Even something like a five man team builds something. But they don't know what it is, and have to do it with tools and materials provided at the event. Whoever gets it close to the spec. in the shortest time wins. (Log tower, 100 ft of fencing, patio deck, who knows? But a build-off with only manual tools could be impressive.)
In the last 30 seconds grade forgot it wasn't 2017
fun fact: In ancient Greece they did actually give the medal to the horse owner not the rider
Black people are not by default stronger, but its just that Africa is so biologically diverse that there are bound to be some that are. There are also some that are average, and some that are weaker. Honestly, what are you gonna do, its a challenge of athleticism, you either have it or you don't.
Making a horse crip walk is rather impressive.
If horse sports are in the Olympics why not dog sports, cat sports? Where do you draw the line?

Just please get a few people to fact check that video about trans athletes (or do it yourself) because most people are genuinely just concerned for fairness for cis athletes but some just hate trans people. So there's lots of misinformation being spread.
For the last time, Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting are not trans. There were not any trans athletes that we know of competing. Why do you people feel the need to even bring it up when it's not at all relevant.
this. I think Grade is really funny, but this is straight up misinformation

IDK, I kinda wanna see the ministry of silly runs, where people run in outrageous ways that are slower than "freestyle." Like maybe anime ninja running could be a thing.

Idea: make a separate section of the Olympics where they can do any performance enhancing drugs they want and see what humans can really do
They already have that section. It's called the Olympics
It is one funded in usa
They r allowed to do any doping

First he reviewed the Paralympic Games. Now, he reviewed the Olympic Games. We have come full circle, ladies and gentlemen.
Imane Khalif is not a trans woman. She is a cis woman. The matches were perfectly fair. Some boxers have high natural testosterone levels. Some boxers actually bother to put their hair in cornrows for fights. Just because these things can make her appear less feminine, they do not make her any less of a woman.
Yeah the right wing culture war stuff just ruined the video, like no grade we dont want you to be cancelled we just want you to be actually funny.

Lmao what is he even saying about too many black people. I guarantee it isn't an issue of equal opportunity it's just that they're genetically faster which is unfortunate for us, but as he mentioned, the number of swimming events that require expensive facilities easily balances it out.
@@lewisbaitup6352Everything he said about that was common sense a few years ago. I respect Grade immensely for not changing his world view despite societal pressure. As for that boxer, he probably just heard it once and didn't bother to fact check. I myself am finding out that that was an actual woman. I kinda feel bad for now, actually. Must have been rough to hear all that reporting.

Grade did you know:
Breakdancing is only in the Olympics because Ballroom dancing organisations were originally trying to use breaking as a cover to allow ballroom dancing to be in the Olympics.
Funny enough, Raygun is also trained in ballroom dancing, prior to learning breakdancing herself.
But please Grade, whilst I agree Breaking is more on the dance element than the athlete element, the participants (besides Raygun) were all well-trained athletes/dancers that have been training mostly since they are 6 or 7 years old, not to mention the absolute inhuman stamina to continue to make it the Olympics finals.
Don't get me wrong tho, half of the breakdancing community were against breaking being on the Olympic to begin with, it's not just you lot.
We just hate people thinking Raygun is the standard of breakdancing.
As someone who swam for a proper swimming club for three years, freestyle isnt actually where you can do whatever stroke you want as in most competitions disqualify you if you do anything other than frontcrawl.
Black People aren't more athletic, athletic is just centered around genetic outliers,
and since africa holds 70% of the genetic diversity in the world,
it's to be expected that most olympic athletes will stem from there.
Tea drinking should be a Olympic game
Olympic competitive eating would be sick.

I don't usually have anything against Grade or his videos, but I'd assume he'd at least do some research before talking on a topic he is clearly uneducated on. Imane Khelif is not, and never has been a trans athlete. They were simply born with more testosterone than the average woman, she doesn't want to transition nor has she claimed she had, so why plaster her photo throughout your video in a negative light? You're simply spreading misinformation and not only that but its also a deformation of her character. Do better Grade, thanks.

We should have the "Real Peopolympics."
There is no scheduling, they just spring it on you. Get to such and such stadium on Friday! Then whoever is nearby can participate in any event, and the events are things people can do.

We’ll never know his name but let’s see just how fast a man can run like can a human ever breach 50 mph?
Right! I think it would be cool to see how much we can push the limit of our body beyond the normal.
Maybe a good idea in theory but it doesn’t translate irl. You would have to offer a massive money prize or you to actually get world elite athletes to swap completely to steroids and compete anonymously. A big reason why people compete in Olympics is for fame because relative to being the FASTEST PERSON ON EARTH, you don’t get that much money for it so you have to build your own brand off that and use your fame and status to make money elsewhere, a prime example of that is Noah Lyles. So if they don’t even get their name in the history books then what’s the point to it? You would have to be handing out millions upon millions to incentivise people to hop on steroids (ruins their body long term) and compete for absolutely 0 glory or fame. If you did this without massive amounts of money behind it, you would get maybe 1 or 2 Olympic finalists if you’re lucky.
@@S_Apologist we're not talking about elite athletes we're talking about general muscle head gym bros that are already on drugs anyway just taking them in a measured and safe environment. no fame or fortune of any kind
