First ever encounter with the Berserker Queen my guy one shotted her while on overwatch with that perk that gives the small instant kill percentage chance. I never saw it alive.
Sometimes people ask why they suicide dive through overwatch and across the map directly into us standing in the open. If these people read the autopsy report, they'd find out why. They're on drugs. Like... a lot of drugs.

I don't think I've ever had a friendly get hurt by someone panicking. Although I did lose my entire team during a shit mission with the berserker queen showing up where she wasn't wanted (they do that a lot...) where I barely got my one soldier out. The very soldier who panicked and did nothing for a round.

I'll be honest, that viper nest mission seems absolutely tailored for Bradford and his skills. I once had a similar situation with about 9 neonates and 3 vipers in sight, and by the end of their turn, only 1 viper remained standing. They all just rushed Bradford and every single one of them died by axe.
The Berserker Queen attacks ADVENT soldiers? What the hell? She never did that in my playthrough. Had a fun (frustrating) moment at the start of one of the plot missions where I had to keep reloading to keep all of my soldiers from going unconscious AT THE START of the mission. I think it was the discovery of the gate late-game. So many enemies, such a bad position. Alien rulers can really ruin your day.
I legit just racked up 4 kills with bladestorm 5 minutes ago. Attacking Chosen assassin citadel, 2 lancers, a shieldbearer and a priest got clipped, 2 died from burning with the arc blade 😂

Melee is still op as fuck in this game, you get a decked out person with a sword and they can solo entire mission if you play it aggressive-ish. More so with mods classes like samurai's and dual wielding.

internal story telling is nice but not at the suspension of disbelief. its kinda hard to believe that your grizzled colonel veteran with hundreds of alien kills still shops at hot topic for 80% of his wardrobe.

War of the Chosen Templar with Bladestorm (Yes it's possible) on a mission with the Lost present. Watch as those kills rack up (13 lost kills in one turn with one guy...lol)

stephen19590 there are exactly TWO non-hostile/asshole aliens in the ENTIRETY of Xcom canon, one of which is mind-controlled to betray you anyway. Trust me nothing is coming in peace.
i think it went berserk and when berserk it wil typically attack whatever is near but due to it being in the shroud we were unable to see the berserk notification. thats just a guess though it was an odd reaction. just basing it off the health it had left aswell increasing its chances of that being the case.
When berserkers are enraged after taking damage and no xcom soldiers are on sight, they will attack whoever they find, it's called" blind rage" Works for the queen and regular berserkers
Keep searching. As far as I know, its not modded so dont listen to that guy. This was on PS4 and that helmet is most probably part of the Alien Hunters DLC.
This is great. PS: I don't mind the occasional wacky ragdoll flopping around stuff, but can anything be done about the delayed reaction deaths? It's a constant thing for me.

This game, even if it's sometimes stressing, specially for newbies like me it's really silly when it comes to ragdolls, i just can't stop laughing with some ragdolls or even the decissions of my soldiers or aliens, i am like: "MATE CAN'T YOU JUST GO AROUND, WHY YOU WANT TO JUMP THROUGH THE WINDOW" or just seeing a sectoid standing still next to a car that's about to blow just because he wanted to revive someone

I remember a panicked solider shooting the VIP it took me the whole mission protect, it was in the last wave of enemies.
