If you are going to compare cars head to head, they need to be comparably optioned. Picking the BMW with the 6 cylinder at a given price point over the 4 cylinder means that it is going to be thin on options, feeling less luxurious. Then you have the 4 cylinder Mercedes, which is going to feel leisurely compared to the 5'er, especially when the Merc has the optional air suspension. No one is going to cross shop these two as spec'd. If they had their budget limited to the $65k these cars are, they would either compare lightly optioned E400's and 540i's or solidly optioned 530i's and E300's. A lot of the differences you note between the cars is due to optioning them differently, not inherent differences between the cars. Having driven and played with the tech in both cars, they both are nearly equal, with their sense of style being the most defining difference, so picking one or the other becomes an exercise in taste rather than logic.

I drive mostly in the city, slowly from red traffic light to the next traffic light or from traffic jam to traffic jam. Then I want to have it so comfortable as possible. Also the passengers want this.

It is not 2020 eclass or 2020 5 series.
Both are 2019 models
The Mercedes was still in production as of may 2020
If it were the performance variants, I’d take the e63, but for the non performance variants I’d take the 5

You have an E350 compared to a 540i. The E350 is equivalent to the 530i. You should have done an E450 to have a fair comparison to that 540i. I have the E Class. True luxury vehicle in my opinion.
In the video I addressed that I understand that, I based this comparison off of MSRP these cars are only 1k in difference.
But the E class is my favorite of the two
U N I E300 is the 2 liter engine. E450 replaced the E400 3 liter engine.

It's a tough call
Older mercedes are reliable. I heard bmw is more electrical. And they have electrical problems. Electrical goes out ur car is generally toast especially if it's electric heavy. Mercedes is also electric heavy but more so accessories. More mechanical=more reliable. Idk. Ive never owned a bmw but i got friends who do they say small things break or go out electronically. Maybe easy if ur a daily electrician or know about stuff like that. Some people can hack their tesla and never need to know mechanical stuff.

I had both bmw wins it hands down due to the drive and how precise the steering wheels is plus I got WiFi and wireless charging oh and less flashing lights everywhere on the dash board kinda annoying with all Mercedes

Mercedes seems to have bigger space in back and front. I got friends who are 200lbs+ at 6 foot+ and barely fit in mercedes. I got a e350. They prolly wont fit in the bmw. Like barely fit in my car... barely. Im the shortest guy :/

Benz wins in terms of styling because that BMW interior feels so outdated, not to take away from the craftsmanship because it's simple and understated....but it does feel old

I went with the 18 e class over the bmw. BMW is so dated with the things they are doing. You drive one you drive them all. The Mercedes is literally the best driving experience. Smooth yet aggressive when need be. Burmester systems sound beyond great! Go team Merc!!!!

lol not amg tho :))) amg actually leads in its class and although BMW is sporty but they need to change their interior with the 5 series like the e class has with its new screen and display... both r nice in my opinion but Mercedes is definitely popular with us teens just like BMW is.

BMW is a car specially made for the young Entrepreneurs who can enjoy the experience of driving as well as made themselves relax in the back seat when needed. Whereas Mercedes is meant for a rich old person who can enjoy relaxing all day at the back seat.

Also Mercedes uses Artico(Artificial Manmade) Leather also not real wood only veneers(knock on it you'll see its hollow), BMW uses real Nappa leather and real wood , Mercedes might look more expensive BMW is much much higher quality
And during night drive BMW Headlights are just amazing it's like turning on the Sun , mercedes has a range of only 120 meters.

I appreciate the feedback the reason for not driving the BMW or the benz is simple since I'm just starting out my channel my access to these cars is very limited not everyone allows me to drive the cars. I try to make the best content with what I'm provided with. As I gain more of a following the content will only get better because as I become more relevant I will be able to drive more vehicles allowing for better content. @@SteakSchmidt BMW has a torque converter and gearbox is way faster and responsive merc. Artico is green ?? Really ?? Then why do they use hide from 4 cattles for maybach, why not use artico in that. It's just a way to fool consumers 80% of consumers dont even know its artico. Because they never highlight it
