The IRA rules keep changing by the nanosecond. Check with your dealer on leasing possibilities regarding the tax incentive if you're cur-Ariya-ous.

Looks like a very compelling EV. Not sure why I have this belief, but seeing the reviews it just seems to be better put together than most other cars in it's class. Hopefully they'll be able to keep up with demand because I can see it being very popular.

I cant lie between the ioniq 5, ev6 and ariya, the ariya takes the cake for beautiful design but battery charge performance that would have to go for the ioniq and ev6. Tbh its the charge rate that will make me buy either the ioniq 5 or the ev6; 10%-80% in about 18 minutes is crazy fast.

No charge limit is a deal breaker for me. Is Nissan trying to make pack degrade quickly?

Can't get red. So annoying they sent a fleet or red for this event.

I noticed that. Neither are the 20" wheels are available on the NissanUSA site. Wonder it they're both late availability. Also, it seems having them all red was a deliberate and last minute decision. I noticed in this video and another, the paint job looks botched arount the Ariya badge, and here you can see it was white or another lighter color because the red paint doesn't go under the Ariya badge.

Wow just saw that too. I hope it'll eventually be available, it would probably be the best color on offer.

Hi guys! Just a quick update. According to Nissan, Passion Red paint was a limited-time offering that was only available when the Ariya's reservation program launched. I'm not sure why they had all the vehicles painted that hue at the e-4ORCE drive event, but it does look pretty friggin good in person. Hopefully, this color will be available again in the future.
      Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@AutoEsoterica Yes at the time or early reservations I chose Passion Red. Then just got a call a couple weeks ago basically saying change to a new color or keep waiting till end of year or next. Had to flip it to blue as I'm not a fan of the Duracel Coppertop color they want to push. I plan to severally key any Passion Red I see out there for the next year.

205 miles of range, so you are looking at $48,525 as a base price for a Venture+.

$48K+ for a Front Wheel Drive, Slow charging city driver. This vehicle needs a competitive upgrade in range, charging speed, and a price reduction.

7.2 kW OBC is cheap. Nissan should have installed at least a 9.6 kW OBC, if not 11 kW.

10 years after releasing the Leaf, Nissan has no excuse not to get everything right on this vehicle.

That recharge rate is abysmal... Come on manufacturers If you want people to get on board and buy these, need to see more charging capability similar (or better) to competitor's rates like Hyundai, Kia and Lucid. Disappointing when you see a car with a decent battery, driving range, and price, but terrible quick charging capability for road trips. =/

We need a drastic reduction in price to make electric vehicles useful. Right now they are just green symbolism. Ask IBM what happened to their new battery technology that is supposed to cure all-electric car problems. I hate it when companies make big claims but do not deliver.
