Does my head in that they do these debates without a rep from each club. Big up Rory for defending Saka.
Some of the points that Buvey made are so silly. Asking where was Saka in big games... Foden has 0 g/a and 0 wins in the 4 title race games. Quiet against RM 2nd leg, FA Cup semi. Villa (A), Wolves, Chelsea x2 in the PL.

@Calum-xv4yi it is "The Club" and none of them would have the success they have if it wasn't for TG. As for Saka, he DID score against all top 6 teams and vs Bayern. The issue is Ars needed a RW to challenge Saka for his spot, instead now they are suffering from fatigue.

The standard for Saka is astronomically high compared to Foden and Palmer. Foden often has very low dips in form but bcos there are so many brilliant players at City it goes unnoticed. So if he’s not picking up the slack then it’s ok bcos Bernardo Silva or mahrez or gundogan would’ve. This is Foden’s first real breakout season so compared to his other years of mid he looks insanely good. Same thing for palmer as well. It’s his first season starting for a team and his output looks crazy. Saka over the last 3 season has been consistently carrying Arsenal but bcos he’s not bagging a goal or assist every game then he looks average when in reality he’s still be better than 99% of wingers in the league this season. People will have the same talk next season if Foden or palmer only 25 G/A they’ll start calling them mid.

Arsenal fan here, travel all over to watch. He has not been the same player since the World Cup last year, I couldn’t care less about GA as a defense. Haaland still has 20 goals this year but has clearly been off the boil.
I don’t put it all on Bukayo though; it was clear at the end of last season he needed serious rest. We did not buy any cover and it’s carried over. He’s played insane minutes for his age, something that Pep didn’t allow with Foden.
Saka no longer beats his man, his burst is gone, and he’s been absolutely nullified in all the biggest games since the turn of last year. Before that i remember his home performances against United and Liverpool and Spurs where he was absolutely irresistible.

@@camcunningham9443 I agree, I don’t think he’s been the same player this season as last however I think part of that comes down to the system that Arsenal play now.
I think it’s appalling that they’ve not provided cover for him in fairness and you can clearly see the fatigue setting in.
It’s a strange one the argument regarding him beating his man. I’ve felt that this is the case too; he doesn’t seem to do it as often but when you look at the statistics (which I try not to do generally speaking), he actually attempts and completes more take ons than Foden who people sing the praises of for his ability to beat his man. It’s a strange one. Not to mention the fact that he’s often getting double and sometimes triple marked out of games.
The only thing I’d level against him this season is that he does have games where he frustrates me which he hasn’t before but I feel that much of that comes from expectations more than anything.
I think he’s a sensational player with so much ability and he’s getting dragged through the mud at the moment because it’s fashionable and gets clicks/interactions.

I still love the bloke to bits but it’s an increasing concern for me, because the first half of last season he was so explosive and teams couldn’t handle it.
I do take your point that the system has changed a bit and teams are starting to double up, but he does also have the luxury of Odegaard/White that Martinelli doesn’t (so many LB/left 8 pairings) who has also looked a shadow of himself this season. The worst part is he will go to the euros in the summer and just add further mileage to those legs.

Saka carried England during the Euros and has been their best winger for 2 years. As a arsenal fan i'd be happy for Saka to be on the bench or not even taken as he needs a rest. Chelsea are 8th, they’ve been as low as that all season. The guy is playing for himself, and getting lots of goals. Let’s see how he does if the Chelsea sh**show ever gets back to making a decent crack at achieving something.

@Calum-xv4yi I’m sorry mate, but a team in 10th just doesn’t have the same level of pressure then games when you are trying to win the league. Chelsea fans have just wanted the season to end for months now, and though Palmer has had a great season, that doesn’t mean it will maintain if this Chelsea team ever improves.
When Arteta started at Arsenal one of the players that contributed most to Arsenals success was Kieran Tierney .. a year later he was redundant to the team. Tierney was replaced by Zinchenko and Zinny became one of the keys to Arsenals success .. a year later he is redundant and Arsenal fans are in agreement that a new LB is needed.
What works for your team at one level of the game doesn’t always work at a level higher. Hopefully for Palmers sake he can stay relevant, but it’s not a given, and we won’t know if he’s at that level until he is there.

Palmer is not as good as saka and foden
Palmer scores a ton as he has a team of 10 men that can’t shoot on target around him and they have all realised he can shoot and he gets to play in a role where he sits on the last man and shoots or plays it out wide when he receives it
Saka is levels above palmer, as he plays in a system that relies on the whole team contributing and still is the stand out man, that is something you can’t define as ability or output, it just is how it is, when Salah first came to Liverpool they would of said the same thing about him only having output
And I do agree that Foden is the best of the three but it’s close between Foden and Saka
Buvey thinks saka doesn’t influence a game like the others cuz he sits out wide and plays to the strength of the system where palmer has a free role in a mid table side with no system other than to try score

Saka has been at it since 18. And a starter since the age of 19. Foden has just become regular fixture this season. Cole Palmer is having his breakout season at 22-the same thing as Saka who has been doing this for at least 4 years consistently.
All players are good but the comparison is wild. They say Foden and Palmer are number 10s. Saka is not. I dont think if you put those two on the wing, they deliver what Saka does every week. I used to enjoy Buvey's wind up takes, but holy shit it gets old fast when he literally has nothing relevant to say at all.
Harry Kane is the best striker in the world. He has been for quite a few years now. "But what has he won".. It's such a dumb argument. He is still the best striker in the world.
I'm an Arsenal fan btw. I AGREE that Foden is more talented than Saka. I also wish that our fans would stop calling him world class and using dumb reasons to justify it. Doesn't really matter if he is in the top 5 right wingers in the world right now or not, that doesn't automatically make him world class, especially when the standards for that position isn't exactly crammed full of talent.
I agree that Foden is more talented than Saka. But Buvey, stop making dumb arguments all the time. There are a multitude of reasons why Foden is a better player with a higher ceiling, and all you can ever say is 'buh wut haz heee won thoo?' 'has he dun it in a final tho?'. Although I'd say Saka would be ranked 3rd of the three this season, he's been England's best player the last 2 major competitions and has been consistent for arsenal for the past 4 years. @@miniman2132 No one said anything about Twitter. The comment that I responded to here on youtube, in this comment thread says that Saka has always gotten more g/a than anyone on the RW which means they forgot about Salah.
Saka has already hit his ceiling, there's no potential left for him.

Buvey is so biased it is sad; Saka has 18 g/a vs the big six. Palmer has been good for only six months. Foden, excluding this season, was a bench player. To say Saka does not influence games is pure Twitter talk. “Running the game against Inter In the Final” wasn't even starting and only played because De Bruyne got injured. And was one of the worse in the field.
This season has been class, but stop being biased.

How is comparing Wayne Rooney to Ashley Young relative to Saka vs Foden? McKola is so emotional, makes him stupid.
Also hate the trophies discussion when you compare individuals, Man City would still have won those titles if you swapped Saka with Foden, and Arsenal would still trophyless.

Rory Jennings is outrightly has more football knowledge than these clowns.
Would both of them had argued that because Tottenham had won nothing thtoughout Harry Kane's stint at the club diminished his talent or quality.
Saka & Palmer have got bigger heart to carry their teams irrespective of level of talents they are playing with, Foden is a more skillful than Saka but that doesn't make him the David Silva, Auero, Yaya Toure and KDB of Man City.

    Your memory is really terrible
Palmer better than Saka? 😂 and you ask which teams did Saka score against? Can you ask the same for Palmer.
Foden 1 season can’t blind us all of Saka brilliance in 4 seasons

i normally can enjoy the view buvey adam and soemtimes rory makes, as an arsenal fan i can see points they make and accept when theres some niave points or just some banter.
but comparing saka and foden debate to rooney and young, is criminal.
foden rotated in and out of the city team for 5 years, has his first brilliant season.
saka starting in an arsenal team for 4 years(i know we finished 8th,5th and 2nd), england player of the year twice.
and foden has just about got few starts for england and a few games subbed on LOL
foden is better than saka, but the conversation is there and not as clear cut.
cant believe rory is the guy speaking facts, adam just salty he has a fidgit spinner at right wing, pleb.

I think right now Saka is third tho at the Euros i would start Saka and Palmer comes off the bench fresh with his energy and trickery, that would be a nightmare for tired Defenders.
And comparing Saka to Ashley Young is so dumb am a United fan but Truth is our fan base has one of the dumbest takes.
