1. Spurs have been consistently been getting top 4 and play CL football. It's not as good as city's team but it's definitely not bad.

Facts are that Halaand scored more in his debut season and his goals actually contributed towards silverware. Kane has as many trophy contributing goals as Kim Kardashian.
3. Haaland plays against 6 defenders in the keepers box every game. Kane has never played against that. Kane notoriously struggled against low blocks. Halaand been playing against low blocks all season and is still top scorer.

Pep played without a false 9 for his first 4 seasons at City. First 5 seasons really, because he didn't know Aguero would miss most of the 20/21 season and that wasn't planned.
If Pep wants to play a false 9 he can just put Foden there, but he isn't doing that and spent a ton of money on a traditional 9 because it's not his preferred playstyle.
The problem we’ll be seeing for the future is haaland isn’t a Suarez, agüero, lewa, or benzema. These are some of the best strikers of this generation and yes they were the best finishers on the team but they always found a way to impact the game whether it was creating a play, brining a man with them. But haaland simply can’t. People know that if your a big defender that’s actually good you can get tight to him and bully him and he turns into a tree trunk and you pretty much lose a player especially the way city plays. Almost every damn player has so much finesse and skill and haaland stands out like a sore thumb in the big games where he doesn’t go against plumbers and electricians. Just look at his performances against any of the big 6 in the premier or any big team in champions league.

Me and my friend were having a chat about this, last season from Haaland was a bit of a freak. As good as he was, I don’t think he was necessarily playing “out of his skin” to get the numbers he did, I don’t know XG numbers but it feels like he was scoring near enough every chance he should of for a player of his calibre, which is testament to all of the ballers behind him. He maybe only had single digit chances all season where you thought he should’ve scored that.

I've always thought that haaland would be a better fit in a team like Madrid. The fact that City have a beast (literally) up top and they still don't feed him constantly is beyond me. So for me, yeah he won't be a kane or a Henry but if they played to his strengths he would be even more effective. Haaland isn't on the same calibre as the truly world class players of all time (CR7, Messi, Henry etc). He is a fantastic goalscorer, but he is not a total footballer like the truly world class all timers are. He's still young, and he might have good 7+ years of improving year on year and become one of the all time greats, but he won't do that by going missing against the big teams.
For the accolades Haaland gets, and the way people talk about him, he should be able to single handedly take tough games by the scruff and drag a goal out of a half chance. He is also surrounded by the most expensive and arguably most talented team ever assembled.

Putting Henry’s name with CR7 and Messi is massively overrating him and disrespecting those legends. Haaland absolutely can be in the same class as Henry and will end up hundreds of goals ahead of him when it’s all done.
@@vanessaharlow2416 Henry could singlehandedly pick apart teams and terrorised some of the greatest defenders of all time. Almost every defender that played during Henry's time in the Prem say they feared him.
He didn't have the longevity of CR7 and Messi (but both of them are freaks and peaked later on in sports science etc), but Henry is likely going to be the best player to ever play in the Prem, ever.
Football has changed and I don't think we'll produce "mega star" players like that anymore, it's become too clinical and scientific.

His job is to score goals not to dribble players or do fancy skill moves there's a reason why wingers and midfielders exist. I'd much rather have a striker that was clinical and could score 30-40 goals a season than a striker that had world class dribbling and skills but couldn't finish to save his life.
The downside to haaland this season is he scored 9 goals in 2 games in the league. So in terms of consistency he has 15 goals in the other say 28 games or something which isn’t mind blowing and is a drop off from last year

Haaland was pretty much nonexistent in the later stages of the champions league, as well as the FA cup final. In fact come to think of it, his form completely dropped all together in the 2nd half of the season. Haaland is great, but you can’t put our treble success on Haaland, we would’ve won it with or without him
We didn't trade Aguero for Haaland you plastic. Aguero was long gone and retired by the time we got Haaland.
