- You guys know I have been asking multiple surgeons to start Verteporfin trials. I have gotten Dr. Bisanga to agree to a trial. He will work with TrichoLAB and Dr. Barghouthi to ensure the protocol is consistent.

Verteporfin talk starts at 5:45
I'm all for making sure we gather precise data through accurate measurements.
But when it comes to evaluating hair growth. What really counts in the end is spotting the meaningful statistical difference, rather than getting hung up on the exact number of hairs.
It is always difficult to determine causation, and measure results. But this challenge isn't unique to hair research at all. That's why control groups are needed when doing science.
Keep up the good work :)
The term you were looking for in terms of Verteporfin results is 'confirmation bias'.
Any news from Dr. Pitella ? I thought he accepted to conduct his own trial a few months ago
is doctor Mohebi still doing his trial? when is it gonna be available if it is?
Sorry to ask disturbing questions, but when you think that there will be new (and hopefully better) treatments on the market, talking about stem cells, hair cloning or a shampoo that can help you help preserve what you have. . I read that by 2030-2035, baldness could be a thing of the past... is my hope justified or are we doomed to dubious promises and hair systems??
i dont rlly understand why there is talked so little about Dr. Bagouthi. In my opinion (could be wrong) his trial and the use of verteporfin is like the most promising and he reached like a nearly or even really a 100 % regrowth with FUT. So why should we focus on FUE trials so much if the FUE method isn't as popular anyway for the most patients? Also Dr. Bagouthi did a whole hairtransplant in 2 subjects 4 Months ago and I talked to him on Instagram (he rlly kind btw) and he told me he even did a new Hairtransplant with verteporfin a week ago!! like cmon this dude needs the spotlight hahaha
I do understand the reasons why you insist so much into getting Dr. Bisanga involved in a potential Verteporfin trial. He is known for his professionalism and rigorous scientific approach.
Sir i just wanted to ask you a serious question. I done hair transplant and results are good. this is my 9 th month. i still have hair loss i notice when bathing or moving hands i shed hairs from transplanted region. not much hairs but small amount. i know that we can loose 50-100 hairs per day as a part of hair cycle. the length of my hair is long it ends till my eyebrow but some hairs that iam loosing didn't have the full length. It has medium length and its not hair breakage iam sure. Is loosing hairs with medium length when i have lengthy hair is unusual or its normal.
Thanks Mel for the video
We need to make a more powerful YAP degrader.
VERT IS MY BIG HOPE. thx
Mine too
What’s the consensus on Dr. Mark Tam in London?
His videos are very well produced. He’s very informative. And he showcases some impressive results.
Does the average patient experience match the marketing materials?
I don’t know anything about this doctor. Have you considered Reddy or Mani Mittal?
@@HairTransplantNetwork I haven't! I'll give them a look.
Lol repair I wish I had that botched job haha way better looking then a Norwood 4😂😂 I’m just joking of course, I’m just saying he has great hair probably could of waited on a transplant for years using Medication 💊
The video was after the repair lol
@@HairTransplantNetwork Does Dr. Bisanga help African Americans?
@@MychalJohnson-y8d
He started in Atlanta, predominantly African American base.
Based on feller bloxham results I feel like the hair regrowth was poor why do you think dr baghouthis results looked better?
Yup the results were not that great with bloxham
Dr Barghouthis results looked much better at 1.5 years than they did at 4 months. Maybe it takes like a year for the hair to grow back, so lets give the Bloxham experiment a little bit more time
Has anybody had a hair transplant with Dr Bisanga do you recommend him.
He’s probably top 5 surgeons in the world
@@jamesmartinez9140 thank you
Do dutesteride cause prostate cancer??
No
no, it reduce chance for prostate to enlarge in senior year. People suggest it may be the opposite - to reduce cancer chance
When will it come out and can 23yr old do transplant if it comes?
We need trials where they use fat cells to repair or regenerate the scalp tissue alongside Verteprofin
Like stem cells
Absolutely - thats the key the scalp fat
