In this video we clean a Pre War Colt Officers Model 38. This revolver was manufactured in 1910 and is the Colt Officers Model Second Issue.
This gun (As seen from the engraving on the frame) was won by R. B. Litchfield in a Handicap Rifle Match Squadron “C” Troop 6 in 1911.
This gun sports a beautiful blued finish due to it being made with a heat treatment, has a 6 shot capacity, is chambered in 38 special, has a wind drift adjustable rear sight with a fixed front sight and wears a set of colt checkered walnut grips with deep dish medallions.
