Those cuts in MHB are not real- or at least not fresh- at least a week old if they are indeed cuts, and not just make-up applied to scars to make them look like cuts. There are many theories about where they came from; those who self-harms believe he is a self-harmer, and propagates that theory. Personally I lean more towards the one that it is the result of a crazy dare and accident with a sink while drunk/high. Till is an introvert and as such can be and feel awkward in social situations. And that kind of person will do and try crazy stuff to fit in, or because they believe it is expected of them. I would say the slapping match with "Cat" and the throwing of beer at the tourist boat in Holland are both examples of such. And the accident with the sink would be along those veins.
