Ivan Nosic amen. I’m so sick of seeing turbo dynos completely flat until they hit boost. Lame. Real engines are n/a engine.
@@jackthompson1382 well the torque curve on the s55 that replaces this engine looks like a mountain at 3k rpm lol definitely not flat. But the NA, high reving engines sound 1000% better

Koolmite Tbh it has the same sound signature as a US V8, just at higher revs. Like the GT350 revs high and sounds great.
Flat plane V8s like Ferrari and McLaren use sound a little dull IMO.

Funny how BMW went from a great sounding V8 to an absolutely shit sounding turbo I6. Seriously, the worst I6 sound ever, I've never heard an inline 6 sound like farting into a cheap trumpet but BMW managed.
While the 6 does make more power, BMW really dropped the ball by not investing more into the v8 DOHC platform. That is where the market is going.
I know right? I'm a huge fan of BMW and the e92 but the engines they're using now a days are complete shit. Even mercedes ( i naturally hate because bmw fan) amg gts sounds amazing and are finally doing way better than BMW at this point in time. idk just my 2 cents@@jackthompson1382
its becaus of emisions and fuel efficiensy. the v8 sucks for fuel and emisions. the m4 drinks less gas then a e46 320i even the 500hp m4 drinks less gas then the e46 does

sounds like the same engine in the Z4 GT3, just different exhaust.
Well the Z4 GT3 has the M3 E92 engine on it
They are identically but the Z4 gt3 somehow sounds more ferocious at least live. Off course videos cant capture the true sound of an engine!
Z4 gt3/gte are using P65B44. rather than the S65B40 in E9x M3. Larger displacement and different firing order.

Just wondering: When you record these videos do you have a team of people with cameras placed at certain sections around the course? Or do you film it all by yourself but move positions for every run that the cars do?
Been watching your videos for years and always wondered that’s all.

The second thing you said is the correct one. I always record at these events alone so, in order to have videos from different points I change positions at the end of every run (generally 2 free practice runs on Saturday and 2 race runs on Sunday). If everything goes well, the car has no problems etc., I can bring home 4 different scenes (plus other 3-4 thanks to my second static camera) of each car I'd like to record during every hillclimb event. But of course I always have to add the bad luck factor XD
Since this year I started a sort of collaboration with other RUclipsrs/friends of mine. When we are at the same events but we'd like to have a few more clips of the most interesting cars we exchange each other the videos we produced at the end of the day with a maximum freedom of use on both our channels. All this to say that 90% of the times I'm "working" alone but if you spot another name/watermark on my videos in addition of my "19Bozzy92" it means there was this mutual help ;)

No, it actually is a normal 3 series. Look at the non M mirrors and headlights. E90 M3s use the E92 3 series headlights.

dalilrafi True... My bad D: I am not too familiar with the 4 door e90 m3, they seem quite rare, I have only ever seen one of them on the way back from le mans one time. Seems like a lot of effort tho, instead of buying an actual m3 xD
It is just cheaper to get a 3 series chassis to work on it and then just put the m3 engine. Modding an original M would be expensive and not very good for our future classics value.
