    Excellent beat of combo deck. They deserve it 😁

      to be completely save from Spikefeeder + 1 Counter, it would have been better to Pitch cast Fury, so that you could hold up Stomp + Bolt. Balllista was handled by a Singular spell, as they onlyhad 6 mana (2/2 + Lifelink)

      @@lugvantrug5967 Yea it's rough to have to play around so many ways they can combo, honestly that's one reason if this was the league I'm thinking of, I just gave up and said "OK you have infinite life, can you win before the clock counts down?" It's just so exhausting I decided to just not have to focus on the infinite life part of the combo at least.

      @@Magic_M_Hayashi I do think that time in mtgo is a important factor to victory. It's very important to know how to work with it and you are a person that do this nice. I won a lot of games just because of it and I don't think it is unfair. Ppl must learn that time ends and need to play and think faster.

    Need to test red sun’s zenith as the ultimate catch all and grindy tool
    I also believe that zenith could make a very budget version of the deck totally playable

      I appreciate it, I think I've already got a pretty sweet budget brew, it's featured in a previous video, maybe one day I'll give red sun a shot, I mean hey if Hammer of Boggarden could cut it, doesn't seem impossible

      @@Magic_M_Hayashihammer was probably my fav thing. Imho the strong part of zenith is that you can basically cut all the wincons, you just need a way to beat counterspell decks tho. I have been playing something like this. The plan against murk is basically cutting them off blue and then fire the RSZ
      4 Cleansing Wildfire
      4 Demolition Field
      4 Field of Ruin
      4 Flame Slash
      4 Lightning Bolt
      4 Mazemind Tome
      4 Mishra's Bauble
      4 Mishra's Research Desk
      4 Red Sun's Zenith
      4 Skred
      16 Snow-Covered Mountain
      4 Unholy Heat
      SIDEBOARD:
      4 Pithing Needle
      4 Ratchet Bomb
      4 Relic of Progenitus
      3 The Stone Brain

      @@sjw7345 List seems sweet but IMO needs Seasoned Pyromancer. Yes I know Pyromancer is arguably not a budget card. Unfortunately if that's the case I think for anyone who can't afford Pyromancer, I'd have to recommend one of my other decks like Mono Black Obosh or Mono White Ranger of Eos. I tried too many times to count to play a budget version without Spyro. Honestly the deck can still 5-0 no problem cutting every single money card.... except for Spyro. I cut Spyro and every league felt like I was battling hard not to go 1-4.
      Wish it wasn't so but the reality is that Spyro single handily does too much for the deck, it does 20 bodies or massive card advantage, it gives value even if countered, it's a 4 power threat for 3 mana. There's no substitute, not even close, I mean closest thing is Fable but a) it's not even a fraction as good in this deck (arguably the better card over all but in this deck definitely Spyro is better), and b) it's also not budget. Trust me the deck might as well be called Mono Red Pyromancer. That's how important the card is to the deck's success lol.

      @@Magic_M_Hayashi yeah probably spyros should be played over baubles, i don’t have budget problems luckly, but i like to play as cheap as possible. I also like BCG and i could see both of them being included
      Hope i can see zenith featured in one of your videos btw, the frame around it doesn’t matter ahah, maybe even splashed

      @@sjw7345 I kind of always wanted to try Devil's play to be honest but just never got around to it. For the most part, I found Firebolt and Hammer filled those roles better, but Red Sun exiling has never been more relevant

  • @morganrichards7445

    Rhinos are a problem, you have enough removal for the first one but they just keep hitting it. Gambit kinda seems like overkill vs tron and amulet. Im thinking surgical extraction and pithing from the sideboard vs gambit and haywire. You can surg the tron land after a field anyway...

    • @morganrichards7445
      @morganrichards7445 Год назад +1

      Pithing as a total SB position. Not pithing vs rhinos ofc.

      @Magic_M_Hayashi  Год назад

      @@morganrichards7445 I'm experimenting with needle more starting with the mono black deck. Also I agree gambit is probably a bit overkill, and as for Surgical, I personally favor the Stone Brain because I don't have to actually wait for the opponent to play the dangerous card first before exiling, but actually I might try surgical one of these days too because for 0 mana maybe I can deal with the first Rhino batch and then try to surgical on upkeep or something

    Aginst Omnath decks, why not hit their red sources more aggressively? They rarely play more than 3 or 4 sources (ketria triome, rw shock and wr shock. And see sometimes rg shock too). This way tou can cut their omnaths and make their decks a little less consistent all around (laylines more expensive, BTL hitting less targets, maybe hit W6 if they come late)

    • @Magic_M_Hayashi
      @Magic_M_Hayashi  Год назад +2

      Yes actually I did that on and off before but lately I've been doing that much more aggressively and even saving my fields specifically only for red sources, and it's been working out great!
