to be completely save from Spikefeeder + 1 Counter, it would have been better to Pitch cast Fury, so that you could hold up Stomp + Bolt. Balllista was handled by a Singular spell, as they onlyhad 6 mana (2/2 + Lifelink)
@@lugvantrug5967 Yea it's rough to have to play around so many ways they can combo, honestly that's one reason if this was the league I'm thinking of, I just gave up and said "OK you have infinite life, can you win before the clock counts down?" It's just so exhausting I decided to just not have to focus on the infinite life part of the combo at least.

Unfortunately if that's the case I think for anyone who can't afford Pyromancer, I'd have to recommend one of my other decks like Mono Black Obosh or Mono White Ranger of Eos. I tried too many times to count to play a budget version without Spyro. Honestly the deck can still 5-0 no problem cutting every single money card.... except for Spyro. I cut Spyro and every league felt like I was battling hard not to go 1-4. Wish it wasn't so but the reality is that Spyro single handily does too much for the deck, it does 20 bodies or massive card advantage, it gives value even if countered, it's a 4 power threat for 3 mana. There's no substitute, not even close, I mean closest thing is Fable but a) it's not even a fraction as good in this deck (arguably the better card over all but in this deck definitely Spyro is better), and b) it's also not budget. Rhinos are a problem, you have enough removal for the first one but they just keep hitting it. Gambit kinda seems like overkill vs tron and amulet. Im thinking surgical extraction and pithing from the sideboard vs gambit and haywire. You can surg the tron land after a field anyway...
@@morganrichards7445 I'm experimenting with needle more starting with the mono black deck. Aginst Omnath decks, why not hit their red sources more aggressively? They rarely play more than 3 or 4 sources (ketria triome, rw shock and wr shock. And see sometimes rg shock too). This way tou can cut their omnaths and make their decks a little less consistent all around (laylines more expensive, BTL hitting less targets, maybe hit W6 if they come late)
Yes actually I did that on and off before but lately I've been doing that much more aggressively and even saving my fields specifically only for red sources, and it's been working out great!
