To me this smells like a mix of le male le parfum and xerjoff naxos. The performance is out of this world and one of the best releases in the last couple of years, definitely deserving of all the hype.

@@yusuff7_ I have not done a thorough test on longevity yet. Projection with my spraying is really nice though. Had it on to a dinner party and pretty much everyone noticed it so performance (projection) is solid 👍👍

I really enjoy Le Male Elixir. I also bought the original which I had never smelled before. I blind-bought both of them. I enjoy jpg fragrances. It is my favorite designer for sure. Where I live there are mostly hot summer days now so that makes me apply something other than Elixir , but when there is a little bit cooler day then feels maybe more appropriate. 🎉🎉🎉

Hard to do on one wearing, but I'll go with an 8.5 to start.
The longevity is definitely beast mode. I can smell this on a spot on my arm for almost a week if I don't wash it off. The projection is decent.

@@rottenrebels I think so. It’s better than all of the JPG’s at the moment. It’s such a striking, sweet yet masculine scent that turns heads.

I personally have to say that I like Le Parfum a bit more than Elixir because I thought the almost fresh opening of elixir was super intoxicating and gorgeous but in the dry down the warmth is a bit too extreme for my liking. I kind of picked up a slightly boozy note like in the stronger with you series or Kilian Angels Share so if one likes this fragrances one is gonna be absolutely in love with Elixir. I’m a bit more of a fan of the lovely Le Parfum "irisy powderiness" I go crazy for 😆
But it’s still sexy AF nonetheless 👌🏼

I got that same feel. I like le parfum opening better but they get very close on the dry down.
I also lean more towards the Le Male Le Parfum. Also the price of Le Parfum is better than the Elixir. I recently got a back up 200ml bottle of Le Parfum for a great deal from these Halloween sales. :)

I just sprayed it on my arm when I was at the airport since I wanted to try it out, didn't like the initial scent but when it dried down... oh my lord. One of the best scents I've ever had on my body to be honest. I instantly ordered the 125ml bottle and patiently waiting for it to arrive

I smelt it for the first time the other day, it was okay and nice but I felt concerned before when I realised the lavender was mixed with Tonka and benzoin, strange to have something so flowery with so sweet? Or is it just me haha

Le Male Elixir does have a bit of foundation from the original, but without the aromatic and spicy sort of freshness of the original which has been replaced with prominent dose of sweetness.
The core of both is the vanilla and the lavender but whereas the original is quite well-balanced (depth vs freshness, aromatic vs sweetness, etc) the new le male elixir goes all in on vanilla, sweetness and lavender with a bit of excitement around it (the honey, tobacco, etc.)
Both are fantastic.
Any fragrance can be worn to work. Just adjust your sprays based on the work environment.

It's nice but there is room in it for amp it up in some possible ways. It's too balanced and a little boring for me. A flanker of this would make me want to try it
Finally got this at Macy's so got a chance to smell it. The opening was a little sticky sweet for me but when it dried down I pretty much got le parfum with a little spice difference and a caramel feel. Bought it even though I'm not sure if I'll wear it over le parfum. I'll know more when the weather cools.

More mass pleasing than the Le Parfum, I'd say. It's also quite minty, not just sweet. The Le Parfum is probably a bit more sophisticated.

Had it for 2 months now... Hype is giving this more accolades than it deserves to be honest..it's nice most definitely BUT not nothing you haven't smelt before, le parfum is a touch better in my humble opinion
If you put the new Hugo boss the scent magnetic juice in this jpg bottle and no one had smelt either before people would probably be going even crazier claiming it's mind-blowing as to me it's a more unique scent with the bran

After having been disappointed with most of this year’s designer releases, I feel that the hype is more than warranted with this one imo. Damn near perfect as far as sweet, modern, crowd-pleasers go.
For someone who doesnt own either, would you recommend Le Male Le Parfum or Elixir as a first buy?
so Le Male is more aromatic fresh, and sophisticated, while the elixir is more of a cold weather scent only, cozy, vanilla, sweet, relaxed fragrence, so imo it would depend on what you were looking for, what the weather is like where you live and how many colognes do you have that are similar to Le Parfum, or Elixir? if you already have a few fresh aromatic scents then get Elixir, and vise versa.

Fun fact: That ring snugly snaps into place around the neck and stays there. So go ahead, snap it down the neck and you wont have to worry about losing it.
@rottenrebels.....hey that's quite a detailed first impression.....i really like a warm, aromatic and vanillic fragrance.....makes me feel like its edible 😊😊 I guess as the fragrance dries down, the sweetness is amplified due to honey and benzoin.....very sexy notes.....even tonka bean has a bit of vanillic sweetness with a mild almondish vibe to it.....From the notes I guess one could wear it pretty much in all seasons except hot summer days 😊😊 And hell yeahhh.....I really do want you to make a full comparison of the entire Le Male Line and tell us your top 3 of them.....new fragrance launches this year are so damn amazing 😊😊

@@rottenrebels Amongst the ones I've smelt.....Mancera Cosmic Pepper, Moresque Byron, Armani Acqua Di Gio Parfum, YSL Y EDP Intense, Xerjoff Toni Iommi, Kenzo EDT Intense, and Scentologia Synergy.....still gotta try Le Male Elixir and new ones from Montale, Electimuss and Kilian

@@rottenrebels Scentologia is unbelievably potent....its like 10 times more powerful than Essentric Molecules....just a spray or 2 will fill up the entire room....this will literally cut through all other fragrances in its vicinity.....It'd be very nice if you did a full house review of Scentologia 😊😊
