Share your thoughts on Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud Oud for Glory below. Is it a good fragrance or not and do you think it's close to the original Oud for greatness? 😊
I own this fragrance thanks you paying attention to it it’s my favourite fragrance in my collection I bought it from the Middle East and it reminds of the culture in Middle East it is very unique and a beautiful fragrance
I’ve just recently smelled both and while I do think oud for glory comes across much more harshly, I do agree that it smells very similar and would not pay hundreds more for that slight difference in smoothness and quality
I refuse to buy Initio Oud for Greatness out of general principal. It's the sister company to Parfums de Marly, and they sell Haltane, pretty much the same fragrance, for the same high price ($430) but at least you get 125 ml with the PDM vs the 90 ml bottle of Initio!!! I love Lattafa Oud for Glory, though. It's one of my best blind buys so far!
@@benniblanco632 Mate, the performance on oud for glory is insane. It lasts very long and the sillage is very strong... Not only does the smell come very close to oud for greatness, but the performance as well. It's that good. Amazing for its price
@@BowlHeadjr I meant it performs 10x better than Haltane, not Oud for Glory. I have all of them, and I think Oud for Glory smells too cheap compared to Oud for Greatness, kind of strange in the beginning. But it's good for the price.
Initio Oud for greatness absolutely is way better than Lattafa Oud for glory, yes I do think the lattafa smells close but the longevity, sillage, and projection are insane on the Oud for greatness
Had a smokey sharpness I wasn't a fan of. I prefer Mystic Oud by Montagne Parfums since its smoother and a bit sweeter. Outstanding performance if thats anyones concern.
ita not identical but it is a good scent that I love wearing. It's strong, it lasts long, it gets compliments and it's a good one to have along with the others in the line... For the price... As you said, it's a no brainer
Badee al oud is such a bang for buck compliments getter. One of my best performing in my collection. I sometimes layer for max presence OFG and ameer al oud intense .
In the opening, Glory is close to identical to Greatness...but it stays right there. Greatness develops into something smoother and much more interesting in the mid and drydown. HOWEVER, Fragrance World has a version that gets closer I've heard. But for CERTAIN Fragrance World has Hartnell and its Soooooo good. It's a Haltane clone which is a rendition of that same DNA. Curious to what you'd make of it.
I don't know what Oud For Greatness smells like, but I know what Lattafa smells like because I've had it for a year and a half. I sprayed it on my kid's hand yesterday, it smells so good. My hand smelled for two days even though I showered. 10/10
I used to own and enjoy Oud for Glory, I ended up moving it on. I simply could never find an appropriate time to wear it. If you like strong statement making fragrances, this could be the best value out there. Just too situational for me.
I bought Glory after smelling a sample of Greatness and hell naah I ordered the real deal straight after😂 I guess it’s alright for 20$ but you get what you pay for.
If you want a fragrance that clones oud for greatness very well, consider checking oud is great by zamaya, it's one of the closest to oud for greatness itself.
@@rottenrebels very very good, the quality of the material is not exactly like oud for greatness of course but I'd say it's about 80% close to the original niche fragrance.
I have both, and I think they are really different. Oud for Glory smells very cheap in comparison. Oud for Greatness is hard to pull off, but it's beautiful. Oud for Glory is kind of unwearable for me.
The funny thing is, if the cheaper one was the more expensive one, and the more expensive one was the cheaper one, the high rollers would be saying the good one is rubbish pay for the cheap one lol, does that make sense or is it just me who understands what I'm trying to say.
Get about 10 - 15 sprays from the atomizer, then put the bottle back in the box. Store the box preferably in a cool dark place for 4 - 6 weeks. You should notice a difference in the smell and probably the color of the cologne itself.
Let's keep in mind that most Lattafa frags are more "inspired-by" than clone scents. I have Oud for Glory and Oud for Greatness, guess which one I wear more often? ;-)
I have’em both, Oud for Glory is such a better name, but I really hate the fragrance! It’s like Greatness if you spray the smell of urinal cake over it.

I don't have the Initio, only Oud for Glory, and I love it! 25 Euros blind buy, very happy with it
Thanks for sharing 😁🙏

Oud for Greatness performs 10x better though

Fantastic Matchup. And. Would you say it's around a 80% accurate Clone?
I would say 90%

It's very similar in the air RR but it does not have the complexity nor the quality of Oud For Greatness

I really want to see an Armaf Le Parfait video😮

Imo having had both, save up for the original, Oud for glory is alright but quality is way subpar, afnan’s clone would be a better option💯

😆 What are your thoughts on it?

What is maceration?
That's when you let it sit for a few weeks to months so it can age.
The purple one is overrated the white one the best one or probably the brown orange one
I have both, and I think they are really different. Oud for Glory smells very cheap in comparison. Oud for Greatness is hard to pull off, but it's beautiful. Oud for Glory is kind of unwearable for me.
It needs to sit for multiple months to macerate
Ok benni 🤓
In terms of percentage, how similar would you say they are?
90%
80 to 90

Oud for Glory
Not exact clone but more nearer to Haltane, Detour noir eco and bit premium ajmal song of oud are better alternatives.
Armaf amber arabian oud if a clone of oud for greatness and probably better than oud for glory
glory hands down greatness doesnt perform on my skin

Did someone notice that it give the Vibe of Dior sauvage Elixir with oud
No
That's Asad
Ahmed al maghribi vs oud for greatness. Fragrantica says bin shaikh came out first.
😂😂😂 definitely know what i am buying.

Oud for glory just smell like ASAD...
Oud for glory smells like burnt rubber.
