  • Ep. 332
Dr Jordan B Peterson and Tulsi Gabbard discuss her time in the armed forces, the concerns over women serving, crony capitalism, the Republican party, and the proxy war the US is waging against Russia.
Tulsi first served in elected office in the Hawaii State House of Representatives when she was 21 years old. Due to the attacks on 9/11, she enlisted in the Army National Guard. In 2004, she gave up an easy re-election campaign and volunteered to deploy to Iraq with the 29th Brigade Combat Team where she served in a medical unit. After returning home in 2006, Tulsi worked in the U.S. Senate as a legislative aide to the late Senator Danny Akaka, who was Chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee. She then volunteered for a second Middle East deployment as a Platoon Leader.
Having experienced firsthand the true cost of war, Tulsi ran for United States Congress at age 31, vowing to honor the lives and sacrifice of her brothers and sisters in uniform. She prevailed in a difficult election and went on to serve in Congress for eight years as a member of the Armed Services, Homeland Security, and Foreign Affairs Committees. Foregoing a run for re-election to Congress, she ran as a Presidential candidate in the Democratic Party in 2020. Tulsi puts country before party and approaches every issue, domestic and foreign, based on ensuring the safety, security, and freedom of the American people.

I lost my sister to the Iraq war. She was a combat nurse. She did 3 tours of Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan. Her stories she told me were just heart breaking of the death and murders that she witnessed. I also ran into some veterans that were there that confirmed these stories. She was never recognized for her service. And I believe she was trying everything she could to forget. I believe the military treated her rotten. We never got a sorry for your loss from them or Obama. Not even a month in office we got a hand written letter from Trump with the Presidential seal. Saying quite a lot to our family. I will always support Trump.

Jordan, I just wanted to say, I had a drunken conversation tonight with a Swedish friend whom I met recently, and who is aware of your work. He spoke very highly of you, and said in specific that you felt the pain of the world so severely that you were sometimes moved to tears by it. I thought, yes!, that is exactly how I see it as well. If ever you doubt that you're reaching people, please keep that in mind. When I travel in Europe, and I tell people that I'm Canadian, they're aware of you and your work, and they have nothing but good things to say.

Don't lay down your life for her - support her. It is rare for anyone to have a logical argument in those day and age, and for her to have Jordan Peterson's respect says much about her in a positive way. Conversely all the leftists and feminists who have set out with the aim of destroying his arguments and fallen foul of his presenting logic and fact in the face of their failed narratives, their response has not been one of learning but that of hating him even more - which says far more about their moral and intellectual shortcomings that it points towards their accusations towards him.

Usually I avoid armchair-quarterbacking electoral campaigns, but I like to think that Tulsi Gabbard would be a formidable vice-presidential candidate alongside RFKJr (whether--somehow--he pulls off the Dem prez nomination or--strangely (but bravely)--he pursues the presidency independently). She and Kennedy convey an impression of being even-keeled, principled, and committed to causes higher than their immediate personal interests (or glory).
Rarely do I acknowledge this about any politicians, but those two manage to inspire me.

Wow! Such a great interview that could apply in any country. Tulsi Gabar is such a great person, we would certainly need many more like her. She tells it like it is, the truth. It is however very hard for her to get to the top positions in the actual party organization. She would make such a great president of the United States… and if she was Canadian, PM of Canada. She stayed true to her values and beliefs. I hope she gets to a position that will allow her to do even more good. So I would also like to tell her « Thank you for your service and your commitment and dedication to your country, democracy and civilization ». She is a rare breed. Thank you Jordan, always excellent.
One question, I live in Quebec where many people don’t understand English, it would be so nice to be able to have the interpretation in French… via maybe an app or transcript of your discussions. As a retired translator, I think it would be a great addition for allowing French speaking people in Canada to hear what you and your guests are saying… as nothing like this exists for French only speaking in Canada. They can only rely on legacy media. We need to widen the access of your content to everyone if we are to inform people on what is really going on. French speaking Quebecers and other Canadians don’t understand the political arena in the US… they don’t understand what is happening right now with the woke ideology and government. Everything is fed to them through legacy media. I hope you can do something about it. The ARC conference was so interesting, but again only in English… people who do not speak English don’t understand any of this and think you are part of a conspiracy… I know the world is upside down. It would be nice if more people had access to to your channel and ARC material, documents and presentations. Thank you so much again!.

She looks nice. Talks smart. Intelligent. Is to be seen everywhere lately.
Even here with JP. Amazing to me, for all kind of reasons.
And when one dives a little into Tulsi, one can find that she is, and has been for a while now, related to the CFR.
In my opinion, EVERYONE related to that evil council is related to evil people and evil themselves.
Tulsi, I think, is being shoved through our throats the last months to have her selected as POTUS asap. Maybe 2028/2032.
The evil powers that be in action. And, to me, it's so bloody transparent, it's not even funny anymore. I am, though, quite disappointed that a lot of people (I know) fall for this 'old skool' trick again. Tulsi, in my opinion, is a Biden, Bush Sr., Obama, Bush Jr., Clinton, Reagan, Johnson, Nixon, Roosevelt, Wilson etc. Greedy, selfish puppets, controlled by their masters to 'fool' the public into thinking that they have their best interest. Not. Horrible people indeed. All idiots. All of them and the people who make their living off of them. Idiots. People who want to 'govern' other people are idiots. All of them!

Tulsi, thank you SO much for your service, both in Congress and in the military. You are by far one of the BEST politicians ever to serve the people (in too many ways to list out), I only wish you would consider getting back into Congress, this time as an independent (although, not sure which "side" they'd shuffle you off to after Freshman Orientation, lol) because our country DESPERATELY needs more leaders like you!!!

You might want to rethink that. You can't trust Tulsi Gabbard. She was 'proud' to be selected as one of Klaus Schwab's Young Global Leader's. She was listed as a member on their site. Her voting record is extremely Anti 2A. She flip flops to garner votes (check her LGBT apology video) and she endorsed a Socialist for president.
      You literally CANNOT TRUST TULSI.

I respect participants of this debate but in regards to Ukraine they show lack of understanding or intentional manipulation.
First and obvious goal is to expell russian forces out of the border. Only after that any of the analogies with Versaille apply and are up for discussion. I don't understand this hatred for American weapon producers - countries in Central Europe want to buy this equipment voluntarilry - do you want to move these trade orders to different country (=are you French or German patriot)? US moved production of everyday items to Asia but for security reasons wouldn't move military production - this implies more jobs in USA. And don't say things like "moralizing scoudrels" - USA disarmed Ukraine from nuclear weapons so these are the consequences - thank B. Clinton for that and don't attack others.

There is something VERY VERY wrong again, going on currently, and I'm talking about Tulsi Gabbard.
