- Dr Jordan B Peterson and Israel Prime Minister-Elect Benjamin Netanyahu discuss the history of Israel, its status as an embattled nation, the importance of the struggle for statehood, why and how the PM came back from political demise, and his vision for the future.
Benjamin Netanyahu was recently reelected as Prime Minister of Israel, having previously served in the office from 1996-1999 and 2009-2021. From 1967-1972 he served as a soldier and commander in Sayeret Matkal, an elite special forces unit of the Israeli Defense Forces. A graduate of MIT, he served as Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations from 1984-1988, before being elected to the Israeli parliament as a member of the Likud party in 1988. He has published five previous books on terrorism and Israel’s quest for peace and security. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife, Sara. In his newest book "Bibi: My Story" the newly reelected prime minister of Israel tells the story of his family, the story of his people, his path to leadership, and his unceasing commitment to defending his country and securing its future.

One of the most controversial leader of any country in the last century and not a single hard question he received from my favorite professor. Unbelievable
He's only doing this because he's on damage control duty after Ye turned the world upside down
Why would JP need to do damage control for Ye. If anything Candace Owens should be the one doing this interview
I love how people think that he would actually be allowed to ask tough questions in this interview... You people are really delusional
The Daily Wire would not allow Dr. Peterson to ask hard questions of Bibi. That's simply a fact. He who pays the piper calls the tune.
“America is a golden calf and we will suck it dry, chop it up, and sell it off…”
The interviewee
JP: How do you make the moral case for Israel?
BN: there was nobody here, and in any case they (those who weren't here) did a bad job taking care of the place
JP: no further questions, your honour...
Go and read the same Bible that these two gentlemen read, you 'uneducated whatever', and you might get some gleaning of truth.
Noooo you have to learn from Natanyahu! How can you he this arrogant? Jews literally saved the world or something. Bigot!
Lmao
It's a shame. He took his apartment and then started genocide against his neighbors houses and he said there was no tenants there. I lost a lot of respect for Jordan, realizing he is somewhat a pupet as well.
@@miahcpainc Most of us in the "evil far right" circles knew this for a while. Glad normies can at least notice massive clues like this one
This podcast has become a more compelling listen in the present day compared to its state ten months prior.
It wil become again again..its not ending story..
Agree
At least now we know why Jordan Peterson wasn't taken out.
after this interview I also have no doubt why. “To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize,”
Only taken to a re-education facility where he emerged purified of any notion of spiritual soverignty
Stupid comment
You guys are believing a narrative.
Interviewer: “Do you believe in God”
Jordan: “depends on what you mean by do, you, believe, in, and God”
Interviewer: “Do you believe in Zionism”
Jordan: “yes!”
he said that?
As a Christian, that's not a contradictory statement. Zionism just means you believe in a Jewish state for the Jewish people in their ancestoral land. You don't have to believe in God to come to a conclusion that the world has never tolerated Jewish people world and every country has done something hateful to them based on their status of being Jewish. So the logical option would be a Jewish state free from Jewish hate.
The only god Peterstein believes in is green and made of paper
@@alishavogel7926 i agree they should all go to one country and stay there
@@alishavogel7926 As a Catholic, why would I want a state for the very same jewish people that believe the Messiah and my Lord and Savior is actually in hell boiling in excrement and filth?
Where is the part where JP risks offending Bibi, in order to be able to think?
Lol
What do you mean, "risk"? What do you mean, "offend"? What do you mean, "Bibi"? What do you mean, "think"?
@@Hasnain1F Your comment and the main one are sooooooo underrated
There is no time limit in the definition of colonialism so the British will always be considered colonialists in Australia. And the Palestinians are no exception, the Arabs conquered Palestine by force in the seventh century and brought a different language, a different culture and a different genetics.
The origin of Arab genetics, Arab culture, the Arabic language and the religion of Islam is in the Arabian Peninsula, therefore the Palestinians are not indigenous by definition.
On the other hand, the Jews are considered native to the Levant (Palestine) according to the definition because the Hebrew language, the Jewish religion, and the genetic origin of 40% Jews in Israel originated in the Levant (Palestine). They did not come from outside, they were created in the Levant (Palestine). Hebrew is the only Canaanite language that survived.
Most of the Jews in Israel Today they are not Europeans. Although historically European Jews founded Israel and were the majority in its early days. In addition, Jews lived in Palestine as a minority but continuously before the Arabs before Islam and Christianity.
Jews are considered indigenous by definition because the origin of the Hebrew language, culture and religion of the Jews originates in the Levant.
And the fact that the Arabs were the majority does not make them natives, they will always be colonialists like the British in Australia.
Apart from Avraham The first Jewish were cananeite people on cananaite land, speaking cananenite language Hebrew. The Jewish bible been written in cananaite language.
What remain from the cananaite its the jewish not the arabs!!!
If the arabs didnt start the 1948 war there were no refugee in both side.!!
Its biased to blame only israel for the refugee crises.
The arabs start the 1948 war...! expelling 100% of the indigenous jewish community of Bethlehem and Jericho until today they dont permit the non european Jewish community to return to Bethlehem and Jericho..!!.!
@@Hasnain1F 🤣
He keeps saying ancestral homeland. These people are not of the original Israelites
And these same lands are the ancestral homeland for all 3 of the Abrahamic religions, so why would the Jews have a right to it over Muslims or Christians?
@@MP-ky3hcbecause the Jews actually ruled the land and lived in it.
Christians and Muslims were pagans from other countries who converted.
All Jews share Jewish Middle Eastern DNA, even the European ones.
Culturally, the only people who have established a land in Israel were Hebrew-speakers, and Judaists. In other words, the cultural ancestors of modern-day Israelites. Meanwhile the cultural ancestors of modern-day Palestinians originated in the Arabic Peninsula.
The Ashkenazim have a lot of European DNA because that's what 2000 years of mixing with locals does. Meanwhile Palestinians have local DNA because, again, that's what 1300 years of mixing does. Doesn't change the fact that the Ashkenazim are the cultural descendants of the original Israelites, and that Palestinians are the cultural descendants of the original Arabians. Therefore the former belong in Israel, while the latter is the result of past expansionism by the caliphates.
@@MP-ky3hcThe Jews were the only ones promised the land by God. The Christians were grafted into the promise, and the Muslims were never part of the promise.
@@Daniper1The first Christians were actually Jewish. Jesus, the disciples, Paul, and many others were all Jewish. It was not until a few decades later that more Gentiles became Christians than Jews. In fact, in the early years Christianity was believed to be a different sect of Judiasm.
There is no question of a right to exist, but not at the expense of others.
Where did Netanyahu say in this interview his countrymen or the Palestinians had no right to exist? What did I miss?
He doesn't have to say it , actions are louder than words , he's driven by war and hatred commits appalling atrocities against palestinians and talks about justice .....and morality !!! Please give me a break
He also elevated Hamas in order to undermine a two state solution
Everyone exists at the expense of others. Land is limited, and sovereignty for one means lack of sovereignty for another. In Israel's favor, it should be noted that all its citizens, regardless of ethnicity, enjoy the same rights. Everyone has representation in both the Parliament and the Supreme Court. The other side in this conflict would not be able to provide anything for its people.

Tuafiq Bey al-Khorani, the Syrian governor of the Horan, said in 1934 that "over 30,000 Syrians invaded Palestine in a few months."
Winston Churchill said on 5/22/1939 that Arab immigration during the Mandate period was so great that "their number increased beyond any rate by which even the Jewry of the whole world could increase the number of Jews".
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President of the USA, said on 17. 5. 1939 that "the immigration of the Arabs to Palestine since 1921 has largely exceeded the immigration of the Jews in the entire recent period".
In any case this influx of Arabs is evident in the surnames of the Arab families that live today in the land. In Arab culture the surname indicates your membership of a particular clan and its origin:
El-masri >> originates from Egypt (masr)
El-tachriti >> from tachrit in Iraq
Halabi >> from Syria
El-lubnani >> from Lebanon
El-hijazin>> from the hijaz in Saudi Arabia
El Kurd >> from kurdistan
El Hurani >> from Huran in Syria
There are dozens more. I’ll send you the complete list if you’re interested.

Has Jordan interviewed someone to hear the other side?
Was somewhat funny that Bibi; when talking about the right to return to native land, managed to avoid mentioning commonly know examples such native indian-americans, Brazilian Indians, Australian aborígen and so on. Needless to further develop this point:
If Native Americans had managed to establish sovereignty in a small plot of land, around 0.1% of the total U.S. land area (similar ratio as with Israel compared to the Arabic world) near the coastline, and had maintained their sovereignty for 80 years, and didn't prevent Americans from living there and had formed a fully democratic, productive society that contributed to science and was willing to engage in commerce... I honestly find it very hard to believe that most Western people would have any problem with that.
Of course, they would need to maintain sovereignty long enough to show that they are not just a society of terror, but a society capable of contributing to humanity as a whole. As Israel has.
The Brazilian Indians who exist today do live in Brazil in government protected Amazonian sites, away from civilized society as they wish. The difference between them and Arabs is that if they are left alone to live unbothered they don’t bother urban Brazilians. They like to live naked in the jungle and are still more civilized than Arabs… but what can you expect from those who worship a p33d0 phony prophet? Not much😬
Those lands have been developed by the colonizers into civilizations that completely transcend anything that the Native Americans sustained at the start of colonial incursions. So your objection only lends itself to Netanyahu's point.

If one Nation has the right to exist with its peoples intact, undiluted, its religion and communities free from violence, invasion and subversion, unimpeded by the whims of a financial elite, then so too must every other Nation.
If Israel has a right to exist and defend its borders and people in an explicitly Nationalist framework, then so too must Ireland, the Irish and every other people. If Israel belongs to the Israelites and nobody else, then so too does Ireland belong to the Irish and nobody else.
You do realise that there are Muslim, Christian, Druze, Samarian, Hindus and Baha'i people living in Israel.
Ireland is part of the EU and has a contractual agreement with them which stipulates how they must behave.
This is what Israelis think, for the most part.
The proclamation of the Irish republic was explicitly written on behalf of Irishmen and Irishwomen, and claimed the "allegiance" of all of them. Ireland separated itself politically from Britain in order to have political self-determination in an Irish-majority polity.
It pursued a decades-long policy of Gaelicization, including government support for the Irish language and a ban on divorce, which among other policies helped prompt an exodus of Protestants.
The Irish constitution became secular only in 1972 (by the vote of the Irish people themselves, not because anyone took Irish rights away), and there is still strong church influence over primary school education.

You really think that Israel’s target, with all the shit that’s going there, is a Christian journalist?? it’s obvious that you have never been to Israel, because, if you would’ve, you would’ve seen churches, mosques, synagogues and normal people that live together. Your Jewish hatred is very evident. At least don’t try to hide it under the supposable coverups that you don’t have the tiniest idea of what you’re even talking about. That’s embarrassing.
I did not know that she was Christian. I wonder if all Christians around the world knew how Israel treated Christians in Palestine 🇵🇸 maybe those American zionists would stop bowing to Israel 🇮🇱
IDF @youtube has hidden my comment for criticizing Israel’s treatment of christians 😣
Netanyahu is not the moral compass I want to be guided by, or a history teacher.
😂
Who cares?
Kanye is the moral compass for us
There is no time limit in the definition of colonialism so the British will always be considered colonialists in Australia.
The Palestinians are trying to change the defense of colonialism so that because it happened a long time ago they have become indigenous. There is no time limit to colonialism and they are not considered indigenous by definition.!!
How much Arab Propaganda have you consumed? You prefer another country like Lebanon or Syria?
Which is it, was the land empty and ripe for the taking, or was it settled by a handful of people and not used well? I don't see how it can be both...
If you can't understand how it could be both then I suggest you research the history of Israel instead of expecting to understand a complex historical issue within 2 hours. That's the problem with Palestinian supporters in the West, their ignorant of history at all. You don't even know your own Western history let alone the A4ab-Israeli conflict history. You assume the underdog is always right and you assume that the nation with more power is automatically wrong and that's not your fault, because you've been brainwashed to accept what you're told instead of to critically think and analyse a subject. You probably don't even have enough attention span to read my comment in full.
Dr. Peterson can you do a interview with Scott Ritter?
Jordan Peterson can you kindly invite Dr Norman Finkelstein and or Miko Peled, the General's son so that we hear the Palestinian side ie "Does Palestine and Palestinians have a right to life let alone existence". Thank you
PS: I added "Miko Peled, General's son"
Yes!!!

Haha never going to happen. Not after seeing this.
@@yuval1716 Your argument applies to every nation state in modern times . But you never mentioned that the region was called Palestine since the Hellenic empire, and that the modern day Palestinians and the indigenous people of the land who are literally of the descendants of all the people who settled in the land since the early Bronze Age . So nice try

When so many young people get their news from websites like Tik Tok and Instagram, it's no wonder they get the wrong information.
Mark Twain, who Netanyahu is quoting at 15:00 also said: “The very ink with which all history is written is merely fluid prejudice”.
What a disgrace JP has turned out to be. For someone who cares so much for statistics, he doesn’t seem to care much about them in relation to Israel. Maybe he should check out how many people have been affected from loss of life, loss of family, loss of home, loss of health and loss of basic necessities, loss of self determination, and loss of mind on both sides. He’s meant to be a specialist in psychology, yet doesn’t have a care when it’s so clear who’s has been affected negatively from a psychological pov by Palestine/Israel.
Arabs stole Jewish land .
Arabs plagerize the Quran from the Jewish Bible.
Arabs blaming the Jewish for stealing.
Arabs claims there were no Jewish before them in Palestine- "the Jewish disappear in bible time".
At the same time arabs claim that they "treat the Jewish in Palestine better then christen".

People today take action based on feelings damn it, you throughout history killed over 270m people god damn, and thennnnn you chosed to attack israel when you could both live together and then you lost and started playing the victims 😂😂😂
Relax
1. Jews and Druze have indigenous rights to small areas in Palestine. (I'm not talking about the Bible, I'm an atheist)
2. The Arabs are not indigenous to Palestine but because they were the majority of the inhabitants in Palestine morally they should have received most of the territory of Palestine in proportion to their size in the population of Palestine.
3. In 1947, the British gave 76% of Palestine to the Arabs and established a new country called Jordan. (Most of the residents of Jordan are Palestinians, there are more Palestinians in Jordan than anywhere else in the world).
4. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict concerns the division of the remaining 26% of Palestine.
5. In 1948 the UN decided to divide the remaining 26% into two countries of equal area.
13% for Israel and 13% for the Palestinians.
6. Israel agreed to the UN partition in 1948, the Palestinians, the Egyptians, the Syrians, the Jordanians, each opposed for their own reasons.
7. The Palestinians were not expelled from their homes before the Nakba, which took place after the 1948 war had already started.
8. The Arab coalition started the war in 1948 by ethnically cleansing 100% of the Jewish community of Bethlehem, Jericho, Hebron and East Jerusalem.
9. As a result of the war:
Approximately 700,000 Palestinians were deported, most of them to the West Bank and Gaza.
And approximately 850 thousand Jews were expelled from the West Bank, Syria, Egypt and most Arab countries.
10. After the war in 1948, Jordan and Egypt, who did not recognize the Palestinians at that time, stole the Palestinian territory designated for the Palestinian state under the agreement in 1948.
Egypt stole Gaza which at the time was much larger and included Ashkelon and beyond.
And Jordan stole the entire West Bank including East Jerusalem.
11. Between 1948 - 1967 the Jordanians and Egyptians refuse to recognize the existence of a Palestinian people and refuse to give them the land to establish a Palestinian state.
12. In 1964, the Palestine Liberation Movement was established and recognized the West Bank as territory of the Kingdom of Jordan.
13. In 1967 during the Six Day War
Israel captured the West Bank from Jordan and Gaza from Egypt.
14. In 1967, Israel agrees to the UN partition and offers the Palestinians 100% of the West Bank and Gaza, including the Western Wall. (At that time there were no settlers or even Jews, because the Jews were expelled from the West Bank in 1948)
15. The Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Arab League gathered in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, and decided not to accept the offer because accepting the territory from Israel required recognition of Israel and the signing of a peace agreement with Israel.
16. If Israel had lost the war in 1948, there would not have been a Palestinian state because Jordan, Egypt, and Syria recognized Palestine as a territory that historically belonged to them.
17. If Israel had not occupied the West Bank in 67 from Jordan, it would have remained Jordanian territory.
18. If Israel had not conquered Gaza in 1967, it would have remained Egyptian territory.
19. Paradoxically, it was precisely the Israeli occupation that reopened the discourse on a Palestinian state.
A discourse that did not take place between 1948-1967 under the Jordanian Egyptian occupation........
The lands invaded & local cultures destroyed by muslim expansions since the 6th century pales in comparison to anything israel has done
The interview in summary;
Netayanhu believes unless a Jew get to a country, the country cannot develop, it doesn't matter if the people are trying to keep their heritage as it is.
Also he mention they were kicked out of Congo, so Congolese be guided before they come for you.
No mention of the current state of hardship of the Palestine.
We also learn who the master of JP is. He nods his head more than a lizard does in a century

Jews do make significant contributions to economies (read Thomas Sowell's work on Middlemen Minorities). Also, how are Jews a threat to ur heritage? And u people think having Jews in ur country is a source of foreign deviance but ur against Zionism, where Jews have their own country. 🤔
@Abul-Abbas al-Asyuti Pretty sure Jordan Peterson is gonna stick to his guns on this issue despite the like to dislike to ratio, I'm curious how many he'll change in the next ten years or so. Then again anti-semites are gonna be emboldened for at least the next two months cus of Kanye.
You want to blend sha. Everybody's talking this way so why not just talk that way too.
It's like you've never had to fight for your ancestral land or title before. Once you have a legitimate claim, you have a claim and nobody's going to hand it to you.
Typically it was for refusing to convert to the religion of their "host" when they decided to get all fundamentalist. Either that or somebody wanted to get out of paying a loan, and there was a convenient way to do it. But you are correct, given how shitty people are, he is fighting an uphill battle.
