This is one of the craziest waves in a while, but man, the prices are ludicrous, especially for Ninjago. Either way though, my top choice is also The Crystal King
Yeahhh I would definitely agree on the one prices however I give them a little bit of wiggle room with new awesome molds and a lot of new transparent weapons and pieces
I am super excited for the sets, though it is time to sell my second and third favorite kidneys

Honestly, I love the color scheme of the Samurai X mech, so many Ninjago sets feel so same-y draped in the same basic color and usually pearl gold, this mech really pops in comparison.
and if you see the trailer for the show it is accurate to the show so it would never have changed if they changed it, it wouldn't be the same

This is actually one of the strongest Ninjago waves imo. I feel like all of the sets (minus the 4+ one) are genuinely good sets. A lot of the prices suck tho

In summary: awesome wave, but feeling the inflation pain, as if Legos weren't expensive enough before..
I don't find the "colourblocking" too much of an issue personally. A lot of adult collectors might have preferred more plain designs, but I like how crazy they go with this wave and I suppose it all comes down to preference. The prices are atrocious though.
The sad part is that the 4+ set might be the closest thing to a “legacy”/remake of the fusion dragon, but in all seriousness, this video is awesome as always
Awesome Ninjago Video I have all those Ninjago sets and I like it and also I don’t mind the colors on Nya’s samurai X Mech and also the mechanic is also in that set I don’t mind the sword of fire in this set wave
Im pretty sure that you get all golden weapons in every set, in the pictures where the set is being built you can see all 4 weapons every time
The temple and ultra dragon come with all 4. Every other set has 1, except the crystal king which has 0

Zane’s jet looks more similar to the Legacy Kai Fighter more than the Storm Fighter, at least to me.
it seems that all the previous seasons past season 8 were build up for this season, giving the ninja new rivals. Kai vs Asphera. Cole vs SS. Zane vs Mr.E.

I’m really wondering what’s with the letter R. All of the ninja/good guys have the letter R in Ninjargon somewhere in their designs or vehicles. Even Nelson and Wu
Ok I have questions keep in mind I haven’t been keeping up with the show so why are there vengestone warriors and what are those imposter ninja up to why are the ninja dragons now just what and how is nya alive I thought she transformed into the ocean last season

I think the crystal king mech is the best mech for a villain ever and solid figures obviously lol and then the kai raider is so bizarre but it actually looks great to the point where I want to get it and of course Mr.E is a cannot miss villain as you see from my pfp I'm very fond of him, Zane's jet is cool but I have the shuricoptor but I want the skull sorcerer guy so I'm in a real pickle here and this month is my birthday month so any suggestions on what I should get people?
I think get the Crystal King mech, the Kai vehicle and the Zane jet.

well if you want all the ninjas 4 or 5 either get the crystal king temple or gold hydra dragon
The mr fig could have been better. They should have made the visor trans pink, thats my only complaint lol

I'll be honest, The Crystal King and Crystal Temple of this wave that I'll pick up. Still x50 BETTER that Core.
The sets I know I have to get are the Jay bike and the Kai vehicle. Can’t wait until they’re in shelves.

Nya’s mech is def my favourite. It’s a really nice mech and has more than 1 exclusive figure

Maybe not the whole wave, but some Evo sets were definitely better than these. The Dojo's better than the Crystal Temple, and the Ultra Combo Mech is EASILY better than Samurai X mech imo

I totally agree on everything 100% except for the Zane plane that should be swapped with the Samurai X mech in my opinion, but to me u missed the mark on what makes the Samurai X special, and that is that random huge x on the chest, I would instead make all the rest of the mech black as a throwback to the og samurai mech color scheme, that said I actually like it is and the only thing holding it back for me is the price

I love the similarities between the crystal king and the overlord from the rebooted series. That series is my favourite. These sets do not disappoint at all, they’re great (except the new “CCBSS”. While early Hero factory and bionicle sets are satisfactory sets, this new system that is purely intended for kids makes me wish they rereleased the invasion from below sets. And those were the worst of hero factory! I hate ending in such negative notes, but it’s true depending on if you agree or not).
What is CCBSS? Ive heard it before but have no clue what it is xD

It’s gotta be the most pointless piece redesign of all time the original one was perfect
Another thing that could make these sets expensive is all the new molds Lego would have to make for this wave and the printing of the mini figures are expensive to make
Nah printing mini figures are not expensive to make. There is this weird myth about this in the Lego community. I have been to these factories & I can tell you it’s a dumb myth to give excuses when they jump prices.
@@MrNathan1575 you are wrong sir it cost a lot of money to print and change molds on mini figures because during seabound a Lego work said that the reason the ninjas have the same face print is because it is expensive to make new ones and same is said about mold
@@brickdragon7131 nope. I know exactly how molds are made & the sort of costs involved. Of coarse it costs money to make a mold. But in relation to what that cost is relative to the amount of pieces they make & sell the cost comes to nothing. It’s ridiculous to think they jack up prices so high because of one mold. But hey if you have worked there & done this stuff before then I guess you are right

For the golden dragon, I belive they have a good reason, why It´s overpriced. Mabye because of all the gold pieces, because there´s a lot of them
You forgot to mention the General mechanic minifigure in the Samurai x mech it's a great way to get the mechanic if you couldn't get ninjago city gardens

"this is the cheapest set to get the crystal king in" m8 in australia the crystal king temple is more expensive than the crystal king mech (temple is $150 AUD and mech is $99/79 AUD depending on retailer). In most retailers you visit the difference is easily over $20 AUD.

I disagree with your opinion on the samurai mech. I feel the red x stands out in a good way because it goes well with the banners Nelson and Wu are wearing and the way you changed it makes it feel not like ninjago and it looks really bland
I'm glad i have the legacy sets as they gave me lots of doubles of the golden weapons these new one's especially the nunchucks and the sword of fire are complete downgrades and far inferior the scythe and shuriken look solid so do Dragon Cole and Dragon Zane look the best Imo kai with those blue pins stands out like a sore thumb and jay i don't get why his lighting is depicted as Yellow and not Blue as it is in the show always annoyed me. I'll probably consider The Temple of The Krystal King, The Krystal King Mech, Zane's Golden Dragon Jet. If i have spare cash i'll consider the Jay bike. Honourable mention is the Golden Dragon more time looking at it looks alright but i'm still on the fence may just get that and the temple and wait for the mech to go on a major discount near to retirement.

Nah bro your caping with the Samurai X mech, with it grayed down, it just looks like a water mech, and that's the thing, she isn't the master of water anymore, which is why I prefer Legos bc I think with all its color, it makes it look like a modern version of the Samurai X mech, just with a color added to it, being the azure color.
Imma buy the bike so i have a dragon ninja and the 4 headed gold dragon because damnmmmmm. 140 Euro is gonna hurt my bank account tho

I will say that I really do like the Golden Ultra Dragon. The Oni Lloyd looks pretty awesome, in my opinion, and it’s great to get the Crystal King with the four arms and long horns, along with all of the golden weapons and golden ninja.
I will have to get used to the EVO-based heads used for the set, but I think they can grow on me. I do prefer the brick-built style, but the rest of the body is pretty awesome.
Except the wings. I wish the wings would have been larger.
I will say that I agree with you on the price point. It seems a lot of these newly revealed sets are over-priced. Be that through inflation or something else. Though perhaps part of the reason for the high price on this set is all of the gold pieces used for it, along with the special molded pieces. Maybe making these gold pieces cost LEGO more to produce and that’s why they’ve upped the price on this set, but again it could just be inflation.

The ultra golden dragon is the best
Only care for Zane's set the clear stand out it combines the Stormfighter and Ninjacopter but the temple has a tensegrity build but looks far too empty and barren it's pretty much a facade but would come next and the Mech for the krystal king follows it's okay an original centaur build but looks out of place within Ninjago though. The Jay bike looks passable a cross between coles bike from S11 and the jungle chopper bike so not too bad as it improves upon those sets i just don't like it.
The rest of the sets aren't good imo Kai's vehicle i can't tell what it's trying to be and that transformation feature is baffling it's like Batmans' NightCrawler and Kai's X1 and S11 vehicle mashed together the worst. Coles car looks terrible why did they not copy the show version as it looks beastly it looks way too toyish and cheap. The golden dragon is okay i guess, it has the wide body style from Lloyds legendary dragon which i don't personally like the wings aren't too the same standard and i hate moulded heads if they all had transclear than it's passable but much prefer brick built or OG legacy style/Nya's water dragon type moulds i honestly forgot about Nya's mech it looks like a complete Knock-off a random minfigure selection and toyish build how is the Core set better in comparison
