- After a long reveal season the Lego Ninjago 2022 Sets have finally been revealed. Keep in mind we will be getting a few more sets in March as well so stay on the lookout for those :)

Looks like it ate the hulk and made it fat and green
My favorite set is temple dojo.

My ranking:
8: Jay's Thunder Dragon. It's meh to me. Proportions look quite off but I do like the colour scheme.
7: Zane's Power Up Mech. It's decent. Not much else to say.
6: Kai's Fire Dragon. Not a bad set at all. Proportions look a bit better than Jay's dragon.
5: Lloyd's Race Car. I think it's good. I quite like this set.
4: Ninja Dojo Temple. I love this set, but it's not my no. 1 favorite. Kai's mech looks OK but it's a bit too similar to Zane's mech.
3: Lloyd's Legendary Dragon. I love this set too. I love how bulky the body is. But the blue is a bit hit or miss. The dark blue is fine but the lighter blue is a bit weird.
2: Jay and Nya's Race Car. Another set I love. The car looks really cool and the helicopter looks pretty good as well.
1: Ninja Ultra Combo Mech. I absolutely love this set. The concept is so cool. Mech looks really big and cool. My favourite set from this wave.

Even funnier is that my favourite part of it IS THE COLOR as the greens, dark blue, and the light blue work SO WELL together!

I really like the temple, lloyds race car and the mech. I completely agree with what you said about the tiny T. rex arms on the thing. Kais evo dragon is ok, as is Lloyds, but man that jay dragon is… yeesh that’s not a good dragon

I’m getting the combination set and the temple dojo for sure, possibly the Lloyd dragon, but for evo sets, i will get the jay and nya race car
Why was the Kai mech in the Dojo temple set not for PIXEL a new Samurai X mech to go alongside the new figure and you could work on it within the mini cave would have made way more sense
I like all sets but the evo dragons and Lloyd’s car. Those can burn in heck

I NEED that combination mech... it looks kind of wierd but I mean, look at it. I also like the 4 arms personally, it has 4 people piloting it, and plus it just feels unique compared to a lot of other ninjago mechs.

I’d say pretty much the same thing, but I’d switch Zane’s EVO Mech with Jay and Nya’s Race Car. I like the colour scheme and sizing of the “Jaya Mobile” (that’s what I’m gonna call it for now) I like how it’s a similar size to the current Speed Champions’ cars. As in it seems that it can fit to Minifigures and still be relatively suitable for Lego road base plates instead of the multiple oversized cars. It’s a nice change. Also, the helicopter inclusion reminds me of the really rare 2011 Ninjago set of Jay’s original Lightning Dragon (Wisp), which is a nice throwback/ nostalgia trip.

Your thoughts on the Temple set exactly match mine, I really wish there was no mech and we just had $10 worth more put into the dojo, but if we *really had* to get a mech, why is it one for kai when he already has a mech in this wave? They could have at least given us the first nya mech in her ninja colors instead of the old samurai x scheme!!
I think the Lloyd's legendary dragon is also Nya's
It seems to me that LEGO began to make new sets with a not very thoughtful and normal design, but they began to stuff them with many interesting details, and since I buy Lego for the sake of details, and not to put on the shelf, I think that new sets in this regard are very excellent.
P.s.To me alone, the set with the robot Zane reminds Kopaka Mata?
YEEEES the EVO sets are like Bionicle :)
Kopaka is the bionicle that has been there for me for a long time. In my scenarios he's always a legend among all the minifigs fighting, and when he appeares, everyone is shitting their pants

I thought you were going to criticize this wave for the lack of villain vehicles (I don’t count side builds)
It’s been a problem for a few years now, although this wave definitely does it the worst because at least other waves might give us 1 set to hold onto.
I think im just save my money for the last set it has a good build alot of minifigures and a a good price for what it is my christmas is really close and my birthday so looking fkrward to buying the set
Yeah for me the cars are the worst , they are easily some of the best builds in the line but they are pretty identical and have nothing special or interenstjng going for them, the dragon have the new pieces which make them kinda better at least in the effort department, and then the mechs, just for the zane one that for 10$ looks way more than complete. The non evo sets are obv more of my target and the mech and the dojo are my fave and I'll be definitely getting the latter

I really want the head from the thunder and fire dragon. The sets are ugly, but that head mold is great.

I think the dragon has a good color scheme but a very acward desgin
I'm sorry but this wave is truly terrible, my initial reactions where knock off sets but when taken into consideration of the new EVO(Evolution i think)/4-6+ kids lie approach than it is acceptable but still these sets aren't too appealing in the slightest especially the dragons even the lloyd one for older audience, looks nothing like ninjago it could be its own separate thing.
The design of the ninja look good for the most part. All in all i would consider the lloyd dragon and the dojo easily the best set but that's not saying a lot. The megazord type mech is an interesting concept as i takes the combo idea from that franchise and the ultra sonic raider with the common theme of mechs across ninjago.
So are these it for the first half? Like, the next actual season won't have any sets during the first half of the year? At least I won't be spending money, since I hate all these sets except for the temple.
There’s going to be a smaller March wave but I think there’s only 1 real set and 3 spinner type sets. So maybe that 1 set could be based on the season but idk for sure. I also know there will be some mini movies with the evo sets in them
