Never thought I'd hear emo rap/post-hardmetalcore with drill beats. That little bit off bass at 1:20 was like something you'd in hear in UK drill song from the mid-late 2010s. So well produced.
@@ohalistair i don’t even like drill either , but this is like midwest emo drill/metal core and it slaps, the transition between the two in the song is just godly
I’m 37 years old and am a old school fan of Underoath. I first got into them seeing the music video “when the sun sleeps” on a Christian music video channel at my dads in 2002 when I was 16. My dad was pretty strict about me listening to Christian music back then. So I consumed myself in Christian metal/ post hardcore/screamo bands like them. I saw them for the first time live on a rainy day at Warped Tour 2004 in Houston Texas when I had just turned 18. They were playing on a smaller stage and it was amazing and super intimate. Will never forget that day and that show. I found this music video because Nothing, Nowhere was advertising their show coming to my city of Austin Texas. So I searched it up and I’m so glad to see Nothing, Nowhere helping to keep this music and style alive. It makes me so happy to see this 20 years later. Not to sound like the typical older guy, but guys seriously enjoy your late teens and early 20s because the shit FLIES BY! Enjoy every moment and relationship you build. Don’t sweat the small petty things and don’t let anyone else but you control your emotions. Because no matter what emotion you express it’s not going to change. Just stay calm and positive always. Just sharing with you guys my experience so far in life. I was pretty short fused in my youth and it caused a lot of problems that could have been avoided and destroyed relationships that could have been great. I love all of you and stay positive!
This will be everywhere. N,N I’ve been a fan for many years. I’ve seen you grow, fight, struggle, but here you are. Still showing me that there has to be a reason for my pain. I wanted to give up. Some days still do. But watching one of my idols push forward. Gives me hope that maybe some day I can look back and be proud of myself for not giving up Love you Joe. Thank you for being there on nights no one else was.
@@GabrielXDrums “thank you for being there on nights no one else was” clearly saying thank you for being there on nights when no one else was around. Of course I’ve got people that care. It would’ve been different had I said “you’re the only one here for me ever” And tbh your comment is just super irritating.
@Drunk Gaming I'm going to say the old version. The original was on repeat for some time. I love it when people actually play instruments. Love real talent.
Broo.. what... Underoath is my all time bad i grew up bumpin. Then in my later years Nothing Nowhere. To see they together on a track is by far yhe greatest shit ever
Been listening since I was still in high school. Almost 27 now. Watching Joe's evolution has been insane. All of his work is absolutely gold. From Never,Forever. to present day N,N., I still find myself getting lost in his masterpieces. Pure, raw emotion in the form of music. I hope I can meet him one day-- his art has gotten me through some tough times in my life.
Why does N,N only have 200 something thousand followers…? The dude is a very talented musician. He’s got an awesome image. People are sleeping on this dude forsure.
Joe is at a point where he can just revive his (definitely my) favorite Core artists from the 2000's (Silverstein, Underoath) and get the collab. I love this.
Ever since hearing this I'm randomly yelling "your the poison I should have avoided now I slip in the venom" I felt that the song friggin jams that chorus is just so catchy
Man Aaron still got it man. I remember touring Warped Tour around 08-09 and just being in absolute awe of his drumming and singing. Excellent banger gentlemen hope to hear more music from both of you.
Dude's got pipes, and is about as chill a person as you can meet. I saw Underoath in 2009 at Soundwave (Australian Festival) and my friends and I had made these singlets with the name of a band playing that day. I chose Underoath, and while watching Alkaline Trio, this dude comes up is like, "Yo, that shirt is rad. Do they have it at the merch tent?" I turned thinking it was someone taking the piss, and was going to go off, only to see it was Aaron, and one of the guys from their tour entourage. We watched Alk3 together, and talked music for a bit and how he was working on a new Almost record, before he went backstage again to get ready for Underoath's set. He didn't know it, but it made my day.
Underoath forever! Take me back to the best phase of my life. It’s like I took a trip Back in the time and rescued All the past that never died inside me.
I can't, this album is way too good. Every time I feel less alone when I can relate to your lyrics. You're a life saviour and I'm grateful for the music you make for us. 💜
shit this is everything i’ve needed rn. this song describes the pain i’ve felt the last 3/4 yearsish, been healing and processing. “the nicotine, the mezzanines, the cocktail dress, amphetamines, the snakeskin heels, the sex appeal.” part really really hit hard 🥲🥲 but joe it was truly an honor to meet you at your pop up in boston. literally a dream come true. im so proud ❤

how does this man start with drill drums and sliding 808s to a full layered metal song with raw drums. this is crazy, mans got talent.

The drill beats are what I don't like. I wish it was proper drums the whole way through. Other than that, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
“Drill drums” 😂😂😂😂😂 wow
@@ohalistair none of this is drill rap beat at all. This is semihard-core rock and a lot of it sounds like this fools.

Hearing spencer scream over a breakdown again is exactly what I needed

this isn't a reagular song, this is "the song"
Just discovered this guys music recently. He gets me through work and the gym every day. Insanely good artist.
i need a whole song in the style of 0:14. Vocals from this genre, instrumental being hiphop is the most fire combo ever
underoath vocals will never top reinventing your exit... but glad to see he can still scream!

Idk about all of the different artists, but I can assure you that Silverstein never went away.
