    Hello Phil, I'm from Corsica, I made the GR20 couple of times and I have to say this is the very best GR20 I ever seen .. I enjoyed it a lot !!!
    I was also walking on the trail on October 2023 but we didnt meet !! Would have been a great inspiration for me because i'm really a big fan of what you do, going abroad , hike like you do. Really great man ! wish you the best

      Hey! Glad you liked it :) thanks for the nice words! Maybe see you on the next trail haha. Hope you enjoyed your GR20 that time as well. And going abroad to hike is probably the cheapest holiday you can do😄

      @@DerToooooo Awesome! Congrats on finishing 😊 Glad you enjoyed the video! And yess haha, people who hiked the trail, know the effort :D
      Next week I’ll be hiking 150km in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.. there are no drones allowed, so I need to put in some extra calories for nice shots haha
      Have fun on your future trails!

      @philhamann420  13 дней назад +1

      @@tony-qc glad you enjoyed it! I used a GoPro Hero8 or 9 and a Dji Mavic Air for that video :D
      But since then I upgraded to a DJI Osmo Action 4 and a DJI Mini 3 Drone. Still on a “tight” budget.. I’d love to have a proper camera with a nice objective (only carry one for photography).

    Ha Phil, I gone do GR20 coming weeks. Did you found gas and electric in some huts in oktober? I doubt of I take my stove and one or two powerbanks. Happy to hear from you! Hans

    • @philhamann420
      @philhamann420  14 дней назад

      @@eefjedekker4332 Hey Hans ✌️ I was lucky to find some gas & power in the huts that were left from during the season. The stoves don’t always work tho! I mostly slept away from the huts, so I can’t give info about each one.. :)
      The freedom of mind of not relying on the luck to find equipped huts is worth taking a stove and a powerbank in my opinion😊

    Amazing video Phil! I'm considering some multi-day hikes this summer. I've never done a solo multi-day hike, so this will be quite the adventure. Can you make a video about how you started doing this and where someone new should start? I live in Germany (moved recently), so a European perspective is helpful.

    • @philhamann420
      @philhamann420  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you! Glad you liked it :) I don't know if I'll be able to make a video in the next weeks but there will be a video about that sooner or later. In my opinion the most helpful skill is to accept every situation radically. This gives you peace of mind in any situation. But it's something people train for a long time (meditation...). Also hiking solo will develop this skill. Of course basic info like needed gear or known tips & tricks should be part of your prep :) The Scandinavian countries are perfect for your first solo multi day trips :)

    • @philhamann420
      @philhamann420  9 месяцев назад

      Thanks Michael! Glad you enjoyed the video :) The amount of hours I hiked are shown in the bottom left corner on the beginning of each day (just skip to the beginning of each chapter :) ). I'd say I'm a pretty fast hiker but had todo a lot 3 times because of the filming. The backpack weight was around 18kg at the beginning (food for 7 days, filming equipment, gas, tent..)
      Have fun on your hike!👍 If you've got any more questions feel free to reach out :)

    Hey Phil, super schönes Video über den GR20! Ich plane grade auch meinen Trip für dieses Jahr und bin über etwas gestolpert: an Tag 7 warst du restocken und sagst du kommst grade irgendwoher, wo warst du da und bist du mit dem Zug dorthin?
    Ich mache mir etwas Sorgen wegen der Verpflegung, weil ich keine 20-30€ jeden Tag fürs Abendessen ausgeben möchte :)

    • @philhamann420
      @philhamann420  5 месяцев назад

      Hey Lör, schön dass es dir gefallen hat! Der Ort heist Corte und ist gut von Vizzavona (quasi die Mitte der Wanderung) mit dem Zug zu erreichen. Auch nicht allzu teuer, wenn ich mich recht erinnere :D Ganz viel Spaß dir bei deinem Trip! :)

    • @philhamann420
      @philhamann420  4 месяца назад

      Mir fiel eben ein, dass in Vizzavona selbst auch ein kleiner shop mit allem essenziellen ist. Vllt reicht dir der schon, dann musst du nicht nach Corte. Ich brauchte nur Medis und ne neue SD Karte :D

    Bist du alles in Barfußschuhen gelaufen? Wenn ja: Mich würden deine Erfahrungen interessieren. :-) Tolle Bilder!

    • @philhamann420
      @philhamann420  2 месяца назад +1

      Hey Sali, schön dass es dir gefallen hat. Ich trage tatsächlich ausschließlich Barfußschuhe, demnach auch auf allen Wanderungen :) Vorteile: Weniger Verletzungs-(umknick-)Risiko, mehr Sinneswahrnehmungen, was den Untergrund angeht (einzelne Steine etc, sowie der Unterschied zwischen Wiese/Schotter... werden deutlich bemerkt. Dadurch wird der Fuß ebenfalls mehr durchblutet (und hat Platz dafür), was zu weniger erschöpften Füßen am Ende des Tages führt. Ausserdem fühlt sich ein leichter, an den Fuß angepasster Schuh wesentlich freier an finde ich. Und als letztes baut sich deine Muskulatur, welche du zum "normalen" laufen benötigst wieder auf, was dich stabiler macht. Das sollte man jedoch langsam in Angriff nehmen, bevor direkt eine große Wanderung unternommen wird :)
      LG
