    Since i bought my 5X last summer i have heard so much negative comments around on this instrument. Personally i simply have loved it all the time. The sound from it is just great, and many other things ! However, i am just a hobby player, so for a professional player they might have more wishes that i fully understand.There are some tutorials on how to operate this instrument etc etc, but i think alot of people does not really know how much you can do with it. So much possibilities.
    Mr. QRobinez and his tutorials have opened the door wide open on how to go explore this fantastic instrument ! Thanks alot for your sharing / knowledge, and i look forward to see and listen to more tutorials to come. Simply the best there is !

    Thanks for demoing this is a brilliant machine. I currently own a Yamaha Genos1 and am looking for something different (but not a 2). To me this keyboard appears aimed more at the professional, the sounds are incredibly rich and interesting and the operating system appears more workstation like than arranger. I remember agonising over which machine (PA4x/Genos) to buy all those years ago, choosing Yamaha with the latest tech back then and it has been very useful. But I'm in the mood for something new but haven't owned a Korg since the Triton🤣 (which I still own would you believe).

    when I make a new USER in the Keyboard set library, it is possible to raise or lower the octave of only one instrument

      @quirobinez  Год назад +2

      yes, you can do that in the bend tuning tab on the mixer page of a style. See my modify style tutorial, it's explained in there.

    Does this instrument do what they Kronos does with its pianos where they have a setting for the lid on the piano and different positions that affects the sound?

    I have tried using the stereo graphic Eq as an insert effect on my Pa700 today on some of the piano sounds, all I can say is wow, what a difference. Cutting the low frequencies makes a huge improvement, a slight boost in the mid also help.
    Out of curiosity what send level did you use on this video for the sounds.

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  Год назад +1

      Yes, these basic eq tips works on any synth or keyboard, you can get even better results with some advanced eq techniques, maybe i will do a tutorial about this later this year. Also compressors and limiters can do a lot for your sounds when you know the theory behind it and how to use it without destroying the sound. Wet/dry levels for eq should always be set to wet (100 percent).

    Why don't korg pa5x audio outputs 1,2.3,4 work? I use left/right outputs for amplified speakers and through outputs 1,2,3,4, I want to send the sound simultaneously to an external mixer but I can't get them to work simultaneously. That is, the PA5X does not send any signal to the mixer. If instead I connect the jack to the headphone output, the PA5X sends the signal normally and everything works.

    Perhaps you could sell your work ...to other pa5x users .. so with these sounds etc in the pa5x the owners will have a better idea on the keyboard with these new sounds etc etc

    Don’t understand these,your showing how to edit sounds,but sounds like you preedited sounds before vid,I just got a pa5x 88,and the stock sound isn’t nearly as good as yours,it’s rather dull in comparison,so I don’t think your giving us the full story

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  Год назад +2

      in the pa5x you have a waves audio master section, there you can setup your mastering profile for the overall sound of the pa5x to your liking, when you buy a pa5x this section is set to default, I've measured the output of the pa5x and created several profiles for that section. One of the general settings is explained in the tutorial: 5 awesome features every owner should know on my channel, it's the last feature in the video that i've explained how to do this. Just enter these settings and the flat dull sound will go away. You can modify these parameters to your liking and your own monitor system, but the general settings I show in the video will improve the sound drastically.
      Also the stock piano's are the ones I use in the second part of this video, I can highly recommend to watch and try the second part of the video, because a huge part of the sound is the use of EQ and effects and filters, this part is explained in the second part of this video. But for the overall sound of the pa5x the waves audio section from the 5 awesome features video is the way to go. Just create several profiles in there for different purposes and start with the platinum correction EQ / master profile I show in there.

    You don’t really show how to edit the basic piano sound?so your whole video is just plain misleading and self promotion,and I’m probably going to have to ship this pa5x back
