    As a new Korg user with a Pa5X, I have seen many videos. But your work stands out above all else. The way you tell and show everything is so incredibly educational. Thank you again for this beautiful video

    Super! You are absolutely right about having fun with your keyboard! Using existing midi files opens up such a variety on trying sounds with the Pa5X. Thanks and I can‘t wait to see your next tutorial!😊

    That was astonishing, I never knew that you could mute the melody track 4 and play along following the score. This was a most informative tutorial Qui which I will watch a few times in order to take it all it, sincere thanks for all your hard work in putting these tutorials together for us.

    Have followed the tutorial and have now revoiced a number of midi songs and what a difference it has made to the new version. The PA5x is a great keyboard especially when there are tutorials like this.

    That was awesome. If Korg is not paying you, they should! As a pianist, I've been waiting for an 88 note arranger. What you are showing people in your short videos people may never learn by studying the manuals forever!!!!!!

    Will this board or any board for that matter let you setup and save your picks for the general midi spec. so you don't have to edit every midi file? That would save a lot of time for me anyway.😁

    Hello, I'm sure you know everything about Korg PA5X, so I need your help.
    I have a question.
    In MidiWorks Pa+ computer program I can modify and update sounds of General Midi songs for PA5X and the program save them in SMF0 format (16 tracks). The problem is, when I want to add in Korg PA5X i.e. EQ, Insert FX, doesn't matter what. The Korg PA5X saves such changes in SMF1 (In MidiWorks Pa+ is visible 17 tracks).
    This operation remove all txt data from song (i.e. copyright, chords are changed on lyrics and there are everywhere between text of the song).
    The strange thing is, that in manual is written that Korg PA5X should save songs in SMF0.
    Do you know how to adjust / force Korg PA5X that it saves songs in SMF0 and not SMF1?
    Operating System of my Pa5X is v.1.2.1
    Wbr,
    Christopher

    That's an amazing tutorial, thank you! Question - how do you change the balance between the midi file and playing along with it? Even after sliding the 'keys' slider up it still isn't loud enough. Thanks!

      Go to the limter tab of your song and lower the gain till it has the volume level you like, then save the song again

    Qui, you might have an answer for this! How can I run a style in synch with a mp3 (singer’s voice only)? Assuming style and singer used the same bps? There must be a way to slice the mp3 file and either assign it to a pad or start player 1&2 style/song simultaneously. I do that right now manually and It sometimes work if I hit the start on-time. Thank you

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  Год назад

      just be sure that the vocal is at the same tempo and loaded in player 2 and then set both players to the beginning and hold shift and press one of the play buttons. Now they play both in sync

    • @BruceGiz
      @BruceGiz Год назад

      Thanks for quick feedback, Qui. I tried your suggestion but it did not work. The mp3 was recorded with the same style tempo. But as long as it is not a sliced mp3 Korg cannot synch the two files accordingly. The question is how to slice a mp3 so it can be synched with the style. Unless you have a better idea.

    • @quirobinez
      @quirobinez  Год назад +1

      @@BruceGiz when you want to sync accapella's with other source material (like styles, or drumloops or your own arrangements), then in most cases you have to sync them to beat, I use Ableton live 11 for that. It automatically syncs it to any tempo and it's easy to reposition vocal phrases on different places in the complete song. Then be sure that the vocal runs in sync with a drum beat in your daw and starts on the correct beat (some vocals starts on the 3 beat of a measure for instance, so in such a case you have to add 3 empty beats for the start of the vocal to get it in sync with other material). When you have done that than just export it as an mp3 file and it will run in sync on any keyboard as long as you can start them at the same time.

    • @BruceGiz

      This is a phenomenal idea. And I am sure this will work. The challenge was synching the mp3 to tempo. You are a “Webster”. Thank you!!
