Good morning. Thank you for your videos, they are very useful, would it be possible to make a tutorial on how to work with Sound Edit? Right now I have a problem, when editing any sound, to my liking, when I go to Save Sound, I choose the bank on will save, but it saves the sound without the effects, the sound that I prepared to my liking stays in the bank, but without effects, I would appreciate your help please. Thanks. Compliments

Hi Qui I saw a video on how to use the chord sequencer. This is very useful but when you use it is there a way to play and intro rather than playing the chords right away.?? I note that when you use the chord sequencer the chords of the song starts. How do you have an intro and then chords begin?? Is this possible??

yes, that's possible, just activate intro 1, play the root chord of your chord progression and the intro starts, then hit the chord sequence button and that will automatically wait till the variation starts.

Thanks for the great video. I'm playing Yamaha with AI fingered mode which is very similar. But something like #5#11 is not possible. My friend Thomas and I created the Web App "AI Fingered Tutor". It's similar to the chord tutor in Genos but you can insert chord progressions and the web app shows how to play all these chords in AI fingered mode. For Korg advanced mode it could adapted with moderate effort.

Thanks a lot. I am a little confused by Ai Fingering, while I just have an opportunity to try it on my new Genos 2, but to be honest as far as I see, I will stick to Fingered on Bass mode. I know that this needs more from us than other modes, but here I have full of control over chords. I have “problems” maybe with two or three types of chords at all, so bringing another way to play them all, makes me more confused than bringing easy of play. The another thing I should practice is spread the chords across the whole keyboard, so every more or less complex chord on left hand, would be nice to change quickly and comfortably with right hand too, like in video example above. I love your web app, it’s a gem on Internet, but it would be great to have something in addition to see them spread on the whole keyboard, like in Full Keyboard mode 👍

@@lucasbiif you are already using fingered on bass than that's a good way to play. for me as a newcomer to yamaha starting with genos 1 it was the best way to use cool jazz chords for jazz and latin songs.
I don't play with left hand arpeggios. And I can play the same chord in many voicings using only few fingers and if I don't need slash chords I'm more flexible.
for slash chords fingered on bass might be better. so all is fine

greetings, I'm wondering if it is possible to activate the vocalist on the left hand by pressing one finger on the chord so that you don't need to press the whole chord but only with one finger to activate the vocalist? and if possible how?

yes, see the section at 00:41 you have to select the setting one finger or one finger plus.

I switched it to yes and the accompaniment works for me on one finger, but the vocalist doesn't switch properly until I press full chords

Sadly, some arrangers like Yamaha and Casio can't recognize complicated tension chords, altered tension, and upper structure as well. Like you played 13th, 7(#9#5), M7(#11#5), m11th, and so on. Also sad news for Korg. It can't recognize flat 13th (b13) chords and their tensions as well. But, in Yamaha and Casio, flat 13th (b13) chords are recognized.

the piano chords you played here sounded good, most of these demos on these arranger keyboards are pitiful at best.
