Thank you, I've been going back and forth on whether to get a Korg PA5X or Yamaha Genos 2 ... this finally pushed me to decide on the Korg.
Excellent video Justin as per usual. Very informative.
The Korg GUI is just so much more intuitive and in my opinion advanced over the Roland and Yamaha rivals because its designed to be simple and easy to follow and understand. Korg has always been about making it easy for people who just want to find their sounds and start jamming, but if they want to dive into the labyrinth of settings then its still there for you. The way Korg's GUI is laid out with boxes and icons make it the kind of Arranger where you can take it out of the box, mess with the buttons and in 15 minutes feel like you're on your way. The Rolands are designed by programmers that like to program but not play, and Yamaha much the same. Plus the Korg sound engine has always been fantastic. Admittedly the Rolands and Yamahas too but Korg just seems to be the jack of all trades and when it comes to synths and pads thats their calling card. I do like the Genos (especially the arranger section) and Fantom 8 (sound settings) but I think the Korg is money better spent if you value your time and patience.

That's why there are manuals and people from Korg struggled to made them. ALL the information is in manuals. More than that, in the right part of the buttons it is written "Keyboard Set Library". No one asked what that means?! 😁 Second "more than that": there is also a switch, from Category to Favorites, that means something else, which also it is written in manuals 😁 Cheers!!!
Actually, NO, it's not "all in the manuals". It's not that easy.
The PA5X has 6 audio output jacks, and the "manual(s)" acknowledges that fact. The gotcha' is that it fails to explain how to USE audio outputs 1-4. Nowhere in the manual does it explain how to set them up, map audio to them, or use them in any way. So no, "all the information is NOT in the manual (s)".
User manual, starting at page 589. Is it so hard? 🧐
Many thanks Justin, although I'm a pro player I've still found this really useful. It's great for identifying sound combinations which you can use off peg or edit extensively or otherwise. I thought at first that it wasn't working but then I noticed that you have to engage the 'keys' icon 2nd from left at the bottom of the screen.

I actually don't think the sounds in this were edited. This keyboard has sounds that are that good out of the box.

With all due respect although I have a PA5x after hearing a GENOS 2 the drums are much better on the YAMMIE, why couldn't KORG install the high end drum kits in the KRONOS 2?

@@SPKORGSP No, they are not the same, only thing in common is the voice transition without cutting out the notes.

Sorry I just have a question off topic. Why in this arranger we can't record different chords progressions in each variation if we need ? At this point this keyboard has a 90's logic inside, nothing new and sounds like a pa1. Very disappointed for 5000€ lost buying this ! Oh, another little thing, in that small bar lcd we sould be able to change name off "ACC1, ACC2"! Italy is not responding at any email...worst company ever !! :((

Y dont like the sound. All is sintetic an very coold . Nu harmonix and the meniu is like an ms Dos from 40 yers ago.
