In my opinion, having an alternate version where Duck is making a “shut eyes” face when he’s approaching instead of having Thomas’ terrifying large scale face would be awesome! But this as it is is just hilariously creepy. Well done, Tug!
As funny as this is, I'm convinced that shot was done for a book adaptation. You can't really show the lead up to the crash in a more succinct way than having Duck right outside the window.
I think they cut out the large scale crash scene cuz something went wrong, like a human Head falling off. And they did not have the money to rebuild the wall
The fact that Duck is just smiling when he’s about to crash is just. I don’t know man it’s a little confusing. Wouldn’t he be shocked. Or does he have a rivalry with the barber and wants to kill him and smiles cause he has an opportunity
It’s actually not that bad when you see it in motion. Sure the shot gives off red flags, but all in all i think it would’ve work pretty well in the original cut. Plus having an angle from the humans POV adds even more realism to the crash.
The creepiness of this suppose "Deleted Scene" only would work in the S2 environment. I wish we could see some of footage of this season, since there isn't that many Behind the Scenes footage or photos of it
I actually kinda like this one, but for little kid me, this would be my worst nightmare. A lot of things in the show got me, and this was in it, I would’ve had nightmares.
I keep imagining that left in the final cut and whats even more horrifying is Duck's goofy smiley face. You are the beginning of the random nightmares i have.
if they had a better large scale face, i dont think i would mind it that much. it does seem jittery and wonky switching from three camera angles in a matter of two seconds. its better they cut the crash from the inside, much better to have the full crash and the aftermath immediately after.
