Hey James trucks look good from the back porch. The trucks run steel inners and polished aluminum outer wheels, our tire guys use those rubber anti fatigue floor mats when the are mounting tires, the mats don’t slide across the floor. Just a suggestion to ya. Keep it on the up stroke
Great video James those rims are gonna look great on Krystal. Little touch up on the white rims and hubs. Looking forward to your next video stay safe James.
Next set you decide to do, get a cheap area rug or equal size piece of carpet to lay out to do fresh wheels, rolls up and stores taking up little space.
I was watching you doing the alloy wheels and wondering if you put electrical tape on the tyre lever and around the rim would it help I haven't a clue as I've only ever done steel rims but hay that awesome work for a man that ain't firing on all cylinders
Sick as the proverbial dog, but still out there in the shop hammering away….good on ya, James! “Krystal” is going to be a shiny one with her new “shoes”….
Never get tired of these videos ..Get tired watching James work though lol time for a nap. Thanks for the effort you put into making such great content
The struggle is real, James. I feel your pain and love for all your trucks. Take care of yourself and be careful. Each truck is a true work of art. Thanks again for all your videos.
Wicked job James , that is a hard job mounting those ! She will look awesome with the nes wheels and tires! Another video by James “ it’s north easy being Pretty” that I learned something! Awesome James 🇺🇸🇨🇦👍
you are one of a rare breed...men who hand mount there own truck tires...that will make an old man out you FAST...and make you learn how to use selective "BAD" words when nothing else works.
I love new wheels and tires. When I had my trucks I bought Michelin tires until they got way over priced. But they would seal up good but it wasn’t worth the extra money for me this was back in the 90s
Yeah it does my father's got like 40 years of doing that I did it some in the early 90s but knew better to get away from that stuff tires are no fun they make a tire lube I believe it's Murphy's
you take 2 days to mounting about 10 tire i guest that job changing tire is very hard i did it back in 1998 when i was in the Dominican republic with 3 truck tire i was dying lol 😅🤣
Man James you need a sandblaster so you can blast the frames that you put in the new stuff on hope you're feeling better now I've caught a little bit of a cold to
Hello Bro you sound bad but I believe on the strong survive this afternoon some severe weather is moving in ? I have been under t he weather for about 2 weeks and it is the pits
use a rubber mudflap, get some good tire lube, murphys works ok but you have to mix it with water, watch ken tools youtube video on how to mount tires, you will learn something from it, need to use a bucket to seat the bead, i really like ken tools green bar for mounting tires, 35450 is the part number. it has a super wide slim thickness head that fits between the bead and rim on the last bite and is so much better than their older tire bars, put you balance beads in the tire while its standing up, ken tool has a leather pad also, if you buy some murphys tire lube get a dry wall mixer for your drill,
Hey james.I need to clean my shop to been super busy last month. Diesel will fix everything. Don't forget balance beads. That is alot of work especially if you don't feel good take care man hope diesel does the trick.
New microphone seems to be doing a good job. Those are some nice looking steel Budds, almost a shame to hide them on the inside! That is one shiny aluminum wheel! That thing is gonna shine like a diamond in a goat's a$$.
Hello driver! I would call the tire man and let him do the hard work! .....Marla has been my favorite truck but if u keep fixing up crystal?..she might be my favorite lol. Keep pushing on James, 10-4 I'm gone
Mornin James. I don't know what you paid for those wheels but I bet it was a "Pretty " penny ! It would be a shame to mess them up. Don't you have a shop in your area that uses touchless mounting ? FYI here in Montana we have SNOW on the ground again today ! 🥶
Omg snow! Ugh. I hate snow. I live in a rural area. No tire guys with a machine nearby. I only scraped the bead and I sanded and scotch brite them. It’s not horrible Can’t really see it
@@JamesPretty Yeah 2" more inches overnight. 8mo of winter is a bit much ! Those wheels are super nice. There's gotta be a better way for a guy to mount those tires an wheels without damaging them. Hope you feel better an you're able to shake that cold or whatever it is.
Hey James, You know they do make rim protectors just for that reason for mounting tires and dismount. So you dont scratch them rims up.Just saying.Motion pro makes a good set.But their is alot of good ones out their as well.
When I seen them on Facebook, I knew there were gonna be a video coming up good job brother put the tires on the rims. They look real good. I’m sorry you are not feeling good. I hope you get better, bro. That was a workout. I bet that is hard on your kneecaps. Have you ever missed and hit the rim? With. Your kneecap I hope not that would hurt and again good job. Keep up the hard work brother. Be safe. Safe travels on the airplane captain
Hahaha I was Looking at that headlight today. I need to spend some time repairing the panel and installing my new bucket and lights then attack the other side
Hi James that looked like a lot of work. It’s a son of a gun getting tires on rims without scratching the rims. Those looked like some really stiff sidewalls on those tires. But you got them on. Can’t wait to see them on Krystal she will be stylin and profilin gonna look sweet. Stay safe
I don't know why but after 23+ Years in the tire industry it is strange watching how difficult it is for some to mount tires on wheels. Murphy's tire mounting compound it by far the best to use.
❤ nice job pretty!! Orwell you're up next.
Thank you!! 😊
Orwell has needed a wheel update for at least two years but Steve continues to ignore the star of the show
Hey James trucks look good from the back porch. The trucks run steel inners and polished aluminum outer wheels, our tire guys use those rubber anti fatigue floor mats when the are mounting tires, the mats don’t slide across the floor. Just a suggestion to ya. Keep it on the up stroke
Nice good idea
They sure are pretty there, Mr. Pretty.
Appreciate ya
Hi James and Jessica. Wheels look great they'll will really lift the appearance, hope you feel better soon.Cheers from Australia Mick.

Looking forward to see the progress on Krystal with her new skins.

You're a really hard worker James! Sometimes you gotta take it easy on yourself though. Take care, hope you're feeling better 👍

Man... looking good! When I'm sick, I like sweating it out at home not at work loloo
lol
Me too
I was watching you doing the alloy wheels and wondering if you put electrical tape on the tyre lever and around the rim would it help I haven't a clue as I've only ever done steel rims but hay that awesome work for a man that ain't firing on all cylinders
Ya it may have I will
Try that next time
Mounting truck tires has an unexpected bonus of learning better balance. I usually go headlong on the ground when the bead pops in place.
hahaha I almost did a few times.
Great video James. Hope you feel better. BP
Thx big Paul
Sick as the proverbial dog, but still out there in the shop hammering away….good on ya, James! “Krystal” is going to be a shiny one with her new “shoes”….
Appreciate ya. I can only lay in bed sick for a few days before I gotta splash some diesel on me
nice hot sauce shirt James i have the same one and have busted truck tires wearing it that made my day haha
Hahaha nice. It’s one of my favorites Jess finally made me use it as a work shirt from all its holes
Can’t wait to see that shine
Thx Charles. Me too
Never get tired of these videos ..Get tired watching James work though lol time for a nap. Thanks for the effort you put into making such great content

Now that’s what I call a view all them beauties lined up
I love walking out and seeing them
Hell ya, new wheels
Thx James
Look bad ass. Getting new rims and tires for the steer for that beauty 😊
The struggle is real, James. I feel your pain and love for all your trucks. Take care of yourself and be careful. Each truck is a true work of art. Thanks again for all your videos.
Much appreciated
Looking good buddy!!!
Next time wrap the part of the tire tool with electrical tape or duct tape. A few windings is all.
Good idea brother
James, the new rims and wheels look absolutely awesome👍👍👍 hope you get to feeling better, brother👍👍👍
Thanks 👍 I appreciate ya
Awesome James love seeing that old girl coming together you are definitely a master at your craft …
Appreciate ya Bryan

You got that right! cussing happened for sure
Looking awesome 👌
Thx Rick
Good job James mounting tires is always a workout
Thx Rod
My suggestion to not scratching or damaging the rim. 1 use wrap electrical tape on the end of the tire tool or use painters tape around the rim.
Not a bad idea.
That answers that ???? Lol. Keep up the good work on them old girls
@@bobbenoit9977 I’ll
For sure try it
Getting there slowly but surely James 👏
I love your shop...truthfully...it reminds me of some of the places I have worked...good busy shops have no time to "clean up"...
hahah true story
What a view from the patio it's a view most of us dream about brother love it
Thx brother
it is a catio :)
Kill or cure!! That first painted wheel put up a serious fight. Well done James!!
Looking beautiful James!
Thank you Allen
Love the view from the patio
Me too some days I just go sit out there and stare
@@JamesPretty I know I would
Man you got the best views from your porch.. Trucks & mountains, It doesnt get much better.
Agree!!
Duct tape on your tire iron can be a friend when mounting on polished wheels forgot to mention that when we talked last week my bad lol
Jerk. Hahahaha
Hope you fill better soon buddy
Thx Tommy
Wheels look fantastic, but wow hard work.
They do! ya its a tough job. props to whomever does that for a living.
Excellent content bro wtahed it all the way through

🎉 nice video of your job that was a really good show of your bird unbelievable the size of those engines
Appreciate ya. They are huge
Heck yeah my baby getting new shoes
Great job.
Thank you
Nicely done! That did not look easy at all.
Compounded difficulty with Covid lol. But it’s done anyway and I’m
Happy
Looking good James!!
nice to see ya bro
On the first wheel, did you open the bag of balance beads and pour them in the tire? I don’t see where it would make any difference, but just curious
I accidentally tore the inner bag so ya I poured them in
Krystal is the Cinderella story for trucks love the videos
Thx nick she sure is
Nice

Yes sir ol Krystals gonna shine brother

Good morning y'all beautiful day
I am watching you on my phone and on my big screen 60 inch

Doing a rebush on the reyco suspension right now. Regretting it kinda lol
James Pretty auto parts and recyling
For real
My dad used to use a 4 * 4 piece of rug
Ya I’m going to try that. Cardboard sucks
Yeah it does my father's got like 40 years of doing that I did it some in the early 90s but knew better to get away from that stuff tires are no fun they make a tire lube I believe it's Murphy's
here i the uk, we cant mix steel and alli wheels on the same axle.
Wow why?
You need to get some Murphys tire mounting compound, will make it so much easier mounting tires, that’s what we use for our tires on our trucks
alright ill do it
Super cool nice 🖐️👋👍🥰🇨🇿😉
Appreciate ya
They make plastic tips for the tubeless irons
Searched the world
Over for them to fit this tool unsuccessful

The little bag you threw in the tire what does that do
they are balance beads. You use them instead of wheel weights. Makes it where you can mount and balance your tires yourself.

You are using the wrong end of the mounting bar and your soap water concoction is drying to fast use just the soap.
