You definitely know what you’re doing James! Those cuts came out perfect! Detailed work like this takes time, and I am proud of you for taking the time needed to do the job right the 1st time! You’re doing great brother, keep up the great work and you & Jessica take care!
You’re doing a pretty awesome job brother I’m enjoying the video content you’re breathing new life into this old girl keep up the good work. Cheers brother
most amazing is U JP, getting at it. Noticed, that Betty's frame is pretty Rot. Smith, allows/prefers a slant Cut, like 45 degrees, for Max connection line. U know, that the frame elasticity will be moved away from the joint area. Will U use Franny's Diff. gears?? Stay safe.
I did the math can’t find any logical reason to use an exotic frame cut, everyone has their own preference nothing wrong with that. No I will just buy a set of diffs Thx brother
Good job brother the truck is looking good you know it always amazing me how it cut steel like That so easy Keep up the good Good hard work brother and you will get it done Safe travel on the airplane captain
Hello driver! So much work but will be worth it when finished! ...did u find the right fuel tanks at boneyard?? Always look forward to ya videos..10-4 im gone
@@JamesPrettybuy 4 tanks and use the way they are or do like an old cab over KW I drove back in the early 80s that was stretched out to 315 wheel base they welded two 150 gallon tanks together for each size they filled the space perfect between wheels and cab now back then fuel was $ 1.25 to $ 2.00 half what it is now but it was set up that way to run to west coast and bank pulling a refer the guy I drove for had a local produce company so i ran from southwest Va to Ohio picked up 50# bags of onions dropped off some here then the rest in Knoxville Tn i reloaded close to there and off to Florida I went then reloaded at several places all over the state and headed back with 2 or 3 drops and ending back home for a day then do it again sometimes 2 trips a week sorry didn't mean to get off topic but after you get the frame welded measure for the drive shaft's then go back to the junk yard and get them there you will need 3 maybe 4 get cross members that has the carrier bearing hangers on them you might get lucky and get all off same frame so they will be balanced and you will be set you will have extra cross members but that will only stiffen up the frame. the box trucks will have longer drive shaft's so less joints needed but if your gonna be doing heavy heavy haul you might want to go with the shorter shafts just look at the weight if cab is still on the one you pick or look for bigger tube shafts. Maybe don't know how you feel about Bruce Wilson but he has a lot of parts trucks now that he is with Fitzgerald he has a lot of aluminum 5th wheels maybe worth a phone call if only to compare prices and maybe do a video with him seen he just hit 1 million subs and don't really know why not for me to judge but could really get you out there just saying. well didn't mean for this to turn into a book but take care and stay safe working and on the trucks
Stick some wheels and tyres on your cut off it makes it so easy to get it put into place then you will get there not telling you how to suck eggs have helped do few like yout doing now .great work take your time with it to

Using what’s in it for the most part

James are you flying in to London Stansted anytime soon I'll grab you some frame steel from work
No I don’t think we go there, maybe some day but now I think it’s not on our schedule
@JamesPretty shame could of got you your frame. I work in a steel yard grab whatever I need.

sorry didn't mean to get off topic but after you get the frame welded measure for the drive shaft's then go back to the junk yard and get them there you will need 3 maybe 4 get cross members that has the carrier bearing hangers on them you might get lucky and get all off same frame so they will be balanced and you will be set you will have extra cross members but that will only stiffen up the frame. the box trucks will have longer drive shaft's so less joints needed but if your gonna be doing heavy heavy haul you might want to go with the shorter shafts just look at the weight if cab is still on the one you pick or look for bigger tube shafts.

why did you NOT Z cut this ?
Why would I? I did the math there no benefit to elaborate cuts, just more work
Stick some wheels and tyres on your cut off it makes it so easy to get it put into place then you will get there not telling you how to suck eggs have helped do few like yout doing now .great work take your time with it to
Ya I didn’t have any uni mount wheels handy but it would have been easier for sure
James do u support Ukraine during the Russian occupation? Do u support zelensky instead of Vladimir Putin?
I don’t discuss religion or politics on my RUclips channel and appreciate it not being discussed in the comments
@@JamesPretty Ukraine is suffering... Putin wants to wipe out all of the Ukrainian people...
She is going to look awesome stretched out
I agree brother
