Your car, fabrication knowledge is amazing nothing half-assed about it.. Your video's of the General was an unbelievable build to watch!!! as well as all your other builds. Thanks
Every time I see your air over hydraulic cherry picker/engine hoist I think about sending you a note. I did the same thing to mine a few years ago when mine was having trouble with the cylinder leaking down. I went to Harbor Freight to get a replacement, and they had the air over hydraulic cylinder on sale for only $10 more than the regular one. After spending 5 minutes swapping the new one onto the cherry picker I then used it to lift the cab off a Luv truck and was in love. I'll never have a manual engine hoist again. Ever. Ever. Ever. Keep up the good work dude, I love what you do and so do our readers on BANGshift when I share your videos.
There's two people that I enjoy watching on RUclips is you and there's a welder out of Texas it's called I c weld I can watch used to guys all the time. Here's a little tip that might help you you're saying you're going to close that motor up what I use is water bottles get the regular water bottles if they fit over something take your torch and heat them up and they shrink first got to cut the end off and they work pretty good nothing gets into it and I see on that motor you got the manifolds turned upside down you can take those bigger water bottles if they fit over it you take a small torch you heat them up and you shrink them over top and that way the Little critters won't get into it just something to try it works great I use it all the time.
You can use any plastic container even those big water bottles that you get at the store if you want to shrink them open over and open pipe or something it's amazing what you can do with those plastic water bottles I'm glad you enjoyed.
Love how your shop set up it looks Like a really creative environment I am also fifty four Owner, and I'm building my first convertible X chassie. For my postcard, it will also be a Turbo LS. God, a 235 straight 6 with the on the floor 3 speed if anybody needs. It
Becoming addicted to this channel.. been watching all the latest stuff and now going back in time to see all the old cool video builds. The music is the best, good ol' southern MB can-do attitude, some super interesting projects (Pettibone, Willys Jeep, Merc)... thanks Brent for putting all this together, its impressive! All the best - I
Brent, Videos from drones are awesome. You always get things done. Don't know where the hours come from. South of the border we only have 24hrs in a day. Not enough time to work, go cruising, and install motors on Friday. I learn so much from your shows. Metal fabrication fixes any combination of Ford/Chevy/Mopar....any year. Great stuff.
I know its hard to get motivated and such but the way you plan Your builds your forethought and vision in your videos are brilliant well done young man.
Brent that LS motor slipped into that 54 like it was made for it. I was really surprised. It would just like slipping a small block Chevy into a 40 Ford chassis. Perfect fit.
I like to watch whatever it is that gets you fired up that day to work on lol. It's all good. Love it all, thank you. About ready for a cameo from The General!!!
second car i owned a 54 bel air in 1964 , and from the the original owner ... from factory special order it was three toned... roof was 'white , then down to lower molding a 'cream color , then bottom was 'hunter green ... i paid 300 for it and it lasted all through my hi-skool years

I like what I am hearing and seeing, it does a busy guy some good to time to himself for enjoyment to unwind and not work 12 hours a day all day every day. So, you are going to build a sleeper and blow away some Camaro's, Mustang's and what ever else is around. I love it, great show.
I dig whatever you work on. That Merc is really cool and Im curious to see how you fix the Buick up whenever that happens. Thanks for the pain in the ass hard work it takes to share with us. Take it easy 🐾
Pelle in Stockholm here. I love your 54. I have a 52. So I would like to see the 54 getting built. But I love all of your gm builds. The Merc...? But my girlfriend loves Mercs. And your dogs! Keep up the good work. Thank you for your videos. / Pelle.
Oh you are having so much fun figuring it out. Soo happy you"re gonna make that column shifter work. Exhaust out the fender makes me think lakes pipes ? Maybe hidden to keep the sleeper look.
I can relate about not fillen it.the moods got.a be right for me any more. Im 60 been work.n on old junk cars my hole life.I stil remember hold.n the light for the ol man must a been 5 .hold the light over here he.d say . get the light out of my eyes. The suff you remember. Brent Transgo , have the best shift kits and they have been doing for years. The one I put in a turbo 400 , made great shifts. Their instructions are quite good as well
Lol you were as we call it ere waffling on a bit lol. But hey that's ok it's kinda hard talking to a camera, there's no one to cut you off with a well placed question lol. I always enjoy it and I could enter the waffling Olympics myself. Lol As always Brent thanks for sharing.
Gonna be a nice cruiser. Agree with ya about not doing things unless you're into it. Same with me. Look forward to seeing some work on the old Merc. Be safe and stay well.
I'm looking forward to this winter when you get back on the '54. I'm also looking forward to the '51 Merc project. I own a '54 Chevy and a '51 Merc. It's all good.
Hey Brent, the 54 with the turbos will be a pretty cool build, wish I could do a hotrod & a turbo build in a winter's time....best of luck to you...God Bless!!!
Yeah, I am not a real big fan of the 54 either. And I think switching projects up, will get your enthusiasm going again. Thanks for the video. Looking forward to the next one.
New subscriber here, want to let you know from a long time gear head , your channel is the best, all doing and very little talking thanks for the content.
I gotcha. If you're not feeling the build, yeah, you gotta put it on the back burner for a while. Looks like a great winter project then.....Makes sence...
Procrastinators kills peoples interest. I tuned in to your site thinking you were one who enjoyed doing what you do. I owned a Trucking Company and two Truck Stops and when I challenged a Project I did it. I have had to fire many Mechanics who did things at their own pace. When ever they felt like it and many were not motivated
Hi from Arizona. Was watching your part six on your 54 Belair job. And was noticing this big air tubes in the engine compartment which you did indicate you wanted to keep. But someone of your ingenuity I would think could take those bad boys out and give you a whole lot more room on either side of that engine, and then find another way to get air into the vehicle. It would save a whole lot of Headaches trying to reroute your mufflers and other more important aspects of the build. Just a thought from Arizona enjoy your show.
I can't believe you're leaving us hanging like this! You've only built about 5 cars this year! How could you? Enjoy some down time with the dogs and your wife. Have a few beers and relax a bit.
at the start your puppy was looking up at you like can you stop with the talking and get to work so we can test drive it and then when you said winter are fall you know it broke the poor puppies heart as well as some of us that have been looking forward to you building it as well lol but it's all good what ever your next build is it will be awesome Brother
Brent, The Merc is a '50 I believe since they was one year behind the updated '49 ford new look the featured flush front fender and hood styling from what I read. Enjoyed you video as today!
This build is a Very similar plan to my mates sd1 rover. Out side the car looks like it’s just been dragged from a hedge but underneath and inside are really tidy.
I love seeing these old cars being brought back to life...
Your car, fabrication knowledge is amazing nothing half-assed about it.. Your video's of the General was an unbelievable build to watch!!! as well as all your other builds. Thanks

Good move to wait for the inspiration to finish it….. don’t let it turn into drudgery 👍
Were my eyes planning tricks on me or did I see a giant red wheel roll out under it’s own power? 🤣💪👍🏼
Going to be a great cruiser. Thanks for the info on the lift ram, but they won’t ship to Australia.
I can't believe you're leaving us hanging like this! You've only built about 5 cars this year! How could you? Enjoy some down time with the dogs and your wife. Have a few beers and relax a bit.
