They come with push to start. Your specific model doesn’t have the keyless go feature. That includes push to start, locking and unlocking the doors by just using your finger as long as the key is nearby. You can also remove the push to start button and use the key if you want.

Hopefully someone with experience can help me out here. I am up in Alberta Canada and temperature can go down to -45C here in winters, I need an SUV and my budget isn't too big. My 05 honda accord has too much issues to fix and it's not worth it to spend the money. I am in the market and just saw a 2010 Mercedes-Benz ML 350 3.0 Diesel (bluetec 3.0l V6) Car is super clean, one owner, no major accidents (one small one where guy broke the front bumper and was replaced), Single owner and it has 170k KM on it. Guy's asking $14k CAD for it. I have no experience with Mercedes but I have asked one person (who loves mercs - thou he doesn't have any handson experience) and he says it could be good and agrees that car is super clean. I took it for a drive and it ran smooth, handled curves, potholes and speedup and slowed down like it should... I wanna ask if you think it will be a good buy for a reliable daily driver to and fro work and maybe occasional trips? What should look at to make sure everything is good on it as well (i can have it put on a lift as well if anyone recommends I look at something below)? How much is the regular maintenance cost as compared to lets say a Honda CRV? What are the KM intervals for Oil change etc? I would really appreciate the help, Thank you!
Tbh 10K is too much for a 2010 you should talk them down to 8K especially if you’re paying with cash. I paid 10K for my 2012 ML350. It’s about $399-$500 for the routine services called Service A and Service B. Brake pads can run you about $300-$450 per wheel. Brake rotors you’re going to be looking at $2000 plus. These may seem like high prices however the vehicle is so reliable it will pay for itself overtime plus you won’t have to constantly do those types of maintenances.
I just got a 2015 Ml 350 rear wheeldrive model and I LOVE it! Runs so nice! I had a 2003 ML 350 with 206k which was still running strong but I found a 2015 with only 45k on it..its unbelievable the ride..so smooth.😊
I love mine! I upgraded from a 2008 and the only reason I did is because mine got hit and totaled💔 I upgraded to the 2012 and wow I didn’t think this vehicle could get better boy was I wrong!! This is the absolute best vehicle I have ever owned. I wish they never discontinued it.

I have an ML350 and I would not trade it for what would be an equivalent Lexus. Not a chance. I have over 182K miles on it - the drivetrain is bulletproof and the ride is superior to a Lexus. An equivalent Lexus would cost between 50-75% more than the ML. Need more proof? Look how many ML’s are on the road. Case closed.
Hello from Panama. As an older German man, I had many different cars and brands. But whenever I got a used Mercedes with low mileage, you sit in it, and just feel like a king / queen. In Germany it was a W123. In Canada a SLK230 R170. As I moved to Panama, every single person said: Get an Asian brand. “Running” around. Visiting places, owners, dealers. Seriously? 15 year old Kia, Hyundai, Honda, Toyota and even Suzuki’s with far over 150,000km and ripped seats - for $6,000 and more? Before I did fly to Panama, I searched already online for cars in Panama. And I did safe a 2003 Mercedes W211 E240 on my browser. After 2 months seeing run down Asian cars, I checked if the Mercedes was still available. It was. So we met up. Originally 37,400km (23,000 miles) in December 2019 when I agreed to buy it for only $5,000. New tires, two sensors, service and a new headliner. Close to 5 years later, it has now 83,300km and still goes strong. Bought a lot where the road is more a manufacturer “test road “ I am looking for a SUV. Again. Asian SUV with ridiculous price tags and lots of miles. I was 40 years ago a mechanic by VW/Audi. I checked Audi - VW. Too many damn engine problems. The buttons inside are blank because of the soft touch paint they use. Goes down to a Mercedes ML or maybe BMW X5 with N52 / M57 engines because the rest has too many engine / turbo problems. Why I also look at a BMW X5? They are cheaper than the same age ML here in Panama! ML350? Best reliable engines are the naturally aspirated engines on both brands. But I am still waiting and searching. You know why? I still like the Mercedes feeling…. 😊 Nice video. BTW. Every brand has some things we don’t like. But one thing is clear. I had never so many issues with a used Mercedes then with brand new Ford cars / trucks in Canada. Warped dashboards are on F150. Buy back of my “brand new f-up 2015” factory ordered 2015 Mustang because after 3.5 months in the shop they just couldn’t fix all the problems it had. Bought a used truck 2010 Silverado 2500HD with just 86,000km on it. Ripped seats. Dashboard in 100 pieces. Seriously? Americans can’t make quality products! I’m sure the V8 is still alive in 5 years. But everything around, I don’t know. I replaced all seat covers cheap via eBay. They sell this stuff like candies. You won’t find this issues on a Mercedes.
Personally I do not like the ride of the GLC it's too firm and the handling is poor. If you are considering the GLC then the equivalent model years would be GLE not ML
Mate the glc is far to expensive for what it is no wonder Mercedes can pay Lewis Hamilton 50 million a year in wages 'better off with the m class it's bigger and more powerful and more comfortable as well 'but for me I'll just stick to my Lexus rx thanks
I bought mine for $9500. One owner 2012. It has 150k miles but in awesome condition and always serviced at the dealers. Hopefully it helps. But I think there still in the 10-14k range

Mate I have a 2007 RX and it’s mint but I think you might be getting cheated with the whole timing belt change stuff. The 2007-2009 generation onwards have timing chains not belts. No need for replacement cause they last almost forever
The gas V6 ML350 is a legitimate tow vehicle, with a rating of around 7,000lbs. Unfortunately the RX has a useless tow rating of 2,000lbs. The Ml has an inline V6 driving the rear wheels, while the RX has a transverse 6 driving the front wheels. 2 very different vehicles. I'll stick with the ML.
You can't beat the lexus I love the rx 350 some of my friends have the Mercedes Ml 350 and I crack up when they cry about mechanic bills especially when they are out of warranty my and everyone else's lexus never have any problems and scheduled maintenance is pretty cheap compared to what they pay I use my awesome mechanic they use the stealership
@@tomfoolery5665 the Lexus may stay out of the shop but is useless as a tow vehicle or hauling cargo. Mercedes puts the Utility in the SUV. The ML is okay off road too. The RX is a true Mall Crawler.
@@MrSahlensguy who tows with a Mercedes almost everyone who owns one is snobby I live in NY I don't care about towing get real I have a beater truck for that type of stuff I use my lexus for comfort and reliability also I take care of my mother who is disabled she loves the lexus and I can afford either one I prefer not to be noticed I'm not a kid I'm a grown man plus if you need a vehicle to tow with maybe you should use a truck for that

Even the first generation is also a tank too get a 2002-2003-2004 good 4wd system low range. Truck frame. Very tough reliable. But some people don't like the interior quality. Very plasticky but we'll built cars. Just avoid the generation in between those two

Yes and no. Careful of following the Mercedes recommended oil change schedule. Our chain guides are failing from those 10k oil changes intervals

Oh the oil changes or Services is what is called, one is every 5,000 miles the other one is every 10,000 miles.

It’s easy to make it a push to start. I prefer the key.

THE TIMING CHAIN NOISE TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY CHEAP FIX I JUST REPLACED THE TENSIONER FOR AROUND 100 BUGS AND THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED
