FANTASTIC looking & performance SEEMS GREAT! AS USUAL A GREAT JOB ON THE REVIEW AS WE HAVE COME TO EXPECT FROM ARMIN, 🏹👍 VERY WELL DONE & ORGANISED KUDOS ARMIN!
@@srinjoyroychoudhury7034 From Nagy's website: "The Vikings basically used a long bow carved from a single piece of wood. However, after contact with eastern peoples, more and more horn bows were made and used." I would imagine that he's referencing the Rus Vikings, who traveled east & were in contact with the Slavic and nomadic Steppes people.
While reflex bows have been discovered in archaeological sites as far north as Sweden and Norway, their is no evidence they were ever in common usage. Viking bows would have been Hedeby style longbows or selfbows of similar design. Reflex bows were never used by Vikings.
Very nice bow! We have multiple Nagy bows in our club, and so far everyone was satisfied with them. About the pronunciation, -- this is just me being nitpicky tho :D -- the 'gy' sound at the end of Nagy is still a bit strong, but You're definitely getting there :) That being said, I know how hard HUN language is :D I've better command of EN even though I'm a native xD
Hi! On the Patron page we have a poll for bow reviews, where we can suggest bows and bow makers for review and the 1-2-3 or 4 that get the most votes will be ordered. :) Join us there, at the end of these reviews the bows will be given away to the patrons, so its fun

"Speculative evidence" suggests that they may have been used in viking lands... But I believe that 99 percent would have been long bows lol

@dogstarstudios718 Sounds like a good selling point. But is that what archaeology Reveals?

I have no idea, just sharing what is on Nagy's website. I leave it to the "experts" to decide while I go fix the popcorn 🍿
Well done!😊
