hey brother I got a quick question is there anything else to do there at playa del carmen? Im trying to do a surprise birthday getaway for my fiancé and she's never been to Mexico. so I was wondering is it a great spot to go? she likes to do adventures
I think every resort in the world has streets like this. In Turkey, especially in coastal towns, you can see hundreds like this. Walkways like this on summer evenings are my favorite, too. It's beautiful here, too 🤩👍🏻
Even only in the neighborhoods of Bodrum, there are many streets where you can shop or sit and eat and listen to music, as well as in Marmaris, Kuşadası, Çeşme, many districts of Antalya, such as Kemer. There are streets like this in the Aegean and Mediterranean, especially in all holiday areas with marinas.
Not saying you'd be 100% 'safe', as people are definitely out to make a buck; but I have spent that last 20 years going to MX, and honestly, I'm growing to feel safer there than in the US--by a LOT. Yes, like anywhere--keep your purse close; if you want something and it's a price you're willing to pay then pay it--and if not, you can barter, but just let it go if you don't want whatever the bottom line is. Use ATMs at banks only, etc. No tourist area stands to gain by getting a bad reputation for hurting or ripping off tourists. Mexico has had a bad rap for too long. It is a lovely place, with lovely people--and lately, I feel the risks to people in the US FAR outweigh the risks to people in MX (and most other places). Ever heard of a school shooting in MX? They love their kids and even the cartels wouldn't stand for that.
I visited the Yellow town of Izamal!

I’m fully vaccinated, do I need a negative to fly to Cancun from USA?
No you do not! However, you still need a PCR to fly back to the US from Mexico, but they are found everywhere here!
like to go on your tropical trips from cold Holland graets
What about the new restrictions by the government all bars and night clubs to close by 11pm
They have been open way past 11 since I've been here! 🇲🇽🤣🤣
How do they take advantage of tourists??? I want to make sure it’s safe

How’s the COVID situation there?
Same as most places right now, some people still care about it and others act like it doesn't exist! lol Nothing too strict going on here!
