Frankie’s my favorite core refresh And I really like the pink top with the black lightening bolts and here’s why. It is a step forward from the shirts with the little stickers on them. As a person who wears J-Fashion, it's so cool to see dolls with a similar style to what I particularly enjoy. I am very happy for Decora Girls to come out next month!
I thought I hated MH G3, and especially the Lagoona redesign, but I've just fallen HARD for Monster Fest Lagoona. The design looks thoughtful instead of 'let's just drop the doll in a box of bright plastic and see what sticks to it'. Her face is incredible. I mean, sure, the IT mermaid is pretty and all, but this Lagoona really does it for me and I'll be buying her.
I understand that everyone has their own opinion, but have you considered Venus Mcflytrap g3 design
Your description is so funny! 😂 I call it the claw machine game where the the claw drops down into a pile of clothes and accessories and whatever it grabs is what the next Barbie extra (or other Mattel) doll is!😂 (no hate I actually love the chaos but I get it’s not for everyone)

The refreshed look for lagoona has finally sold me on her having a pink skin tone! I haven't been able to feel feels for G3 because of it but FINALLY!
I usually have a strict rule of never dishing out over $100 for a singular non-essential item as a way to keep myself sane and in-check as an avid collector. But man that Jinafire is tempting! She'd only be a little over $100 (about $105) so it's not TOO terrible...that pay in 4 option is looking prettyyyyy good rn 👀
1) I don’t know how to feel about the Totally Hair tribute doll. The dress is cute, but the Millie face sculpt absolutely does not fit it. They should’ve done a repro.
2) The mermaid is absolutely gorgeous. 🩵
3) Jinafire is very beautiful, absolutely serving. ❤️ I’m really happy for those who got her. 🩵
4) I think I’m gonna redress Catty to fit an outfit from the series. She’s really beautiful, so she deserves a better outfit. 🩷
5) I prefer the Second core wave than the Monster Fest, since I think they have cuter clothes. ✨

Mattel made a blonde Totally Hair repro about 7 or 8 years ago!
I'm probably the only one that thinks this, but I like the new Totally Hair Barbie more than the original. The dress is a nicer length, and I like that her hair isn't super long. Also, the dress looks like it would fit curvy. You can't say the same for the original.
I am not a doll collector and I don't know how I found your channel but I need to express how important your channel has been to me over the past 18 months. I moved to another country and while I had no WiFi in my apartment, I would turn on roaming to use my data to watch your videos, particularly Yass or Pass, and I watched the full backlog of these in September last year. Since then I've been a subscriber and I watch your uploads religiously, they really do have a special place in my heart. Your personality and way of phrasing things is so endearing, and I can only thank you for everything your channel has been to me during this crazy time in my life. I still don't collect dolls. Respect to your little plastic women tho and MASSIVE CONGRATS on the subscribers, you deserve it 🎉🎉🎉

I don't actually collect dolls but I look at them from time to time at work. I feel like they've moved away from focusing on how kids like to play with them and are more designed for collectors now. I can't deny how pretty they are. Even I was tempted by some of them - just to display at home lol!
Since we've gotten the second Signature looks are you going to make a video analyzing the fashion style of the main five ghouls? The fashion of G3 has been quite interesting to talk about in the long run of how they've evolved.

I am so excited about the Lagoona refresh doll. Whilst I initially got hooked on the series because I've been a vampire lover since I was a little kid so I needed to have Draculaura, Lagoona quickly grew to be my favorite. I only bought Draculaura's G3 doll for OOAK purposes as I am not too fond of her new version because having Roma ancestry and growing up with half-Indonesian cousins, I am far too aware of Asian stereotypes and what they're doing with Draculaura. I only really liked Abby, Venus and Twyla so far, with Lagoona I felt like there was missing something and this doll has it. I am definitely going to get her.
Can you expand on what they’re doing with Draculaura? I haven’t been able to watch the series so all of my knowledge comes from instagram posts 🫢

I can not express how much joy catty noirs new look brings me. One of my favorite childhood dolls now has my body type. Thank you Mattel designers for that

Monster high g3s new releases are really knocking it out of the park. Jinafire has a stunning doll, catty noir and venus have had their new designs way outshine their g1 counterparts for me. And i LOVE the new signature lagoona's pants!! It feels like they get better and better with each release and im living for it

At least there are awesome MH dolls this year and I can afford them! The core refresh dolls are sooo good. Im getting all of them. The only one I got from the original core line was Draculaura.

I’m devastated that I missed out on the amazing vampire hunter series. :”) doll collecting is a hobby I tend to distance myself from for my own good when my funds are low and normally that’s a good thing but those two would have been a holy grail item from me. As it is I may have to slowly save up for a second hand purchase. RIP to me, and I hope the series does well so that they follow it up with more fiction-inspired dolls!

Catty Noir G1 is better than G3 imo. her appeal is that she’s a sensational pop star, and I just don’t get that at all from G3. maybe in a future line they’ll pull through, but she needs more glam.

I really love the new Draculaura refresh, I saw it in store the other day and prefer it immensely more then the old one that was just giving lingerie to me, I'm pretty sure at a glance I mistook it for the sleepover collection a number of times. (would've gotten it but I was already putting money down for beach draculaura and Venus that day)

Yessssss I 100% agree, it felt more cohesive. The added pink in the hair isn't my favorite but it's fine, but something about that pale pink on the top throws everything off
Jinafire turned out so lovely! She always was going to be lovely, but this particular combination has grown on me so much! Already pre-ordered her. The box design is also a step up, I think.
Planning on picking up the other MH dolls as well. The more I look at what's out now that I don't own (Scareadise, aside from Heath), the less enamored with it I am. I like the looks, but I can pass on them and save my $$ and shelf space for dolls I have more excitement over. Like the core refresh and the Monster Fest, and all the Skullector and Creeproductions coming up this year.
Can you make a video about why you don't like glitter on dolls? I've heard you say it in another video and I've seen other collectors complain about glitter as well and I love glitter!

Love the video. I apologize if you've already addressed this in a previous video, but have you looked into all of the new blind box BJD/ MJD dolls that have been coming out? Some examples would be the Leroro Summer Island series, the Antu Dreamlike Teaparty series, Nagi Club kindergarten, Teenar, etc. I really like that they're becoming so popular, because they tend to be around $20 to $30 and it's a really nice medium between play line and BJD type dolls. The designs are also really varied although skin color diversity isn't the best. Most of them are 1/12th scale.

Just fell to my knees realizing that I don't have a W membership to purchase that mermaid doll. I really need more high fantasy/sea oriented mermaid dolls in stores that are articulated because there's almost always something off about mermaid dolls that get released but that Integrity one made me realize I need to try t get on the 2024 W club.

frankie''s problem is that their outfit dropped the ball when it came to distributing the colour blocks. like, its basic outfit construction - why is their hair clip the ONLY pop of yellow on their body?the green of their jacket should have been yellow instead, at the very least, and the way some of the colours are vibrant while others are dull makes the outfit feel underthought.
I might have to get those monsterfest dolls. These are the first of the g3's I've really liked.... But I got rid of most of my g1 monster high collection so I don't know.
