Oh nice, I literally just finished re-reading 'The Order' by Nate Kenyon yesterday while waiting for some work on my car to finish. Wonder how much of that is canon and will show up in this vid. Love your lore vids, no matter how well I think I know Diablo lore you always include stuff I had no clue about ( haven't hit play yet, just wanted to comment first, then see what you got for us )
As a teenager, I played Diablo 3 1000 times but never listened to the story. In the last 2 years I've read all the Diablo books until "The Order" which is up next before (me allowing) to play D3. I'm so thrilled to play D3 and witness their relationship!
The worldbuiding is cool, but sadly i found the sin war novells to be some of the weakest in the franchise (mostly because of Uldyssian). But if you enjoy them, there are some good reads, like "the dark road" or "the kingdom of shadow" 🙂
The Kingdom of Shadow is a great read. I personally enjoyed the Sin War trilogy, mainly because of the plots of the Prime Evils, The Heavens and ofc, our Blessed Mother. Its true that the battle scenes in Sin War start to make Dragonball look believable, but the rest of the books are fine.
Oh i am not saying that i didnt enjoy reading the sin war novells, only that they were on the weaker side of the franchise, for my taste. Its funny that you mention dragon ball, because i keep comparing Uldyssian to Goku and his Zenkai boosts :p@@Quankhi1
Just an idea UBER uniques are very hard to find/farm.. why not develop something i.e horadric stash or demonic shard whatever! To store only uber uniques from Eternal going to Seasons (one way only) let’s say 3x2 storage??? So there is one Uber unique you can’t bring a trade off.. Accessible only every beginning of each season lets say one week.. and then it will close again.. you still need to level the character since the item is level bound.. If that is not enough develop a way that items/Ubers from eternal realm could only be accessed after finishing the seasonal quest/pass. Another idea is do a side quest in season so you can access the storage.. you can still blast through the season(purchase the pass if you like) and still have your hard earned uber with you.. Please don’t say corporate stuff we all know about such things I merely stated this idea from a gamer point of view…
I really wish D4 was enjoyable. I played D3 for years but I can't stomach a few months of D4. I'm not complaining to be clear or at least I don't feel that personally, I'm begging them to do better.
Diablo Immortal lore revealed that Albrecht and Aidan are King Leoric's children. Albrecht is even the final boss in a dungeon called Tristram Cathedral. So that makes Diablo Immortal lore non-canon?
Albrecht was the Main Quest, (a.k.a the last boss) in the first Diablo game, turned Dark Lord, Diablo. I haven’t played DI much, but if he’s the last boss in some quest called Tristram Cathedral, it seems canon--at least to me. Then again you go down the cathedral corridors, catacombs, cave, and rift to hell, only to kill Diablo there. It’s a huge Greater Rift in a sense.

We already fought Baal and prevented him from re-entering the world from a worldstone shard he corrupted and now, for some reason, we're chasing and trying to fight Diablo himself. Yep, while Diablo's essence is in Leah. It's funny, really... It's supposed to be hard for the Lords of Hell to enter Sanctuary so each time they have the chance, they plan and scheme so they can make the most out of it... Yet Diablo managed to enter Sanctuary like 4 times in the last 40ish years (once in D1, once again on D2, third time in Immortal and the Siege of Heaven in D3)... And probably find a way back to Sanctuary in D4 (or else, why call that game "Diablo" at all? amirite?!) ...So... guess it's not that big of a deal for a Lord of Hell to walk around Sanctuary any more? Also, where TF are all the "Nephalem" in D4?!
Ähm what gives you that idea? All there has been (that i have seen) is a survey of what people would be willing to pay (and it wasnt 100$)...I highly doubt that they will release an expansion that is more expensive than the main game.
I dont know what you are talking about honestly. The purpose of such a survey is to find out what people think. And to be quite honest, its also mood to argue about prizing right now, as no one knows how much content the expansion contains. The reason why they are asking for a number is probably related to how much work they can put into it. You also have to take into consideration, that the seasons and ongoing support must be payed for somehow too, and i doubt that the season passes or cosmetics are quite enough for that. @@johnwong4952
