For the wheels I’ll hold the wheel in one hand at an angle 🤩🤩 as you have @18:11 and drop some glue at the top of the bead and top of the wheel and turn the wheel with almost both hands as I’ve still got the bottle of glue in one hand until the glue is rolling then I’ll put the glue down and watch the glue roll around the bead of the wheel whilst turning the wheel slowly enough that the glue doesn’t runaway with the gravity still at an angle and keep applying glue this way until I’m happy with the amount and also this way you halve almost 100 clean job once you’ve done the first two wheels hope this helps Nolan 😎✅

Good tip! Thanks! I need to focus more on my glueing skills or lack there of lol

  • @freewill51

It's not that you are bad at gluing, you just need different glue. I used to have that problem until I started buying glue at hobby lobby in the pink label. Don't need any attachments and it is the perfect thickness to make perfect glue bonds.

I agree’ those black wheels with the silver rings do look the best out of all the rest that comes on the slash models

Yeah that’s what I think….this definitely is the most neutral that matches the most body colors

Well I hit a Rock today breaking the shock front shock on my ultimate and cracking the swing a 😞 so I need to order new front shocks and som Rpm swing arms and get that done. I'm so glad you made this video. I was confused about the springs. Lol
I also had my eyes on Proline. People are telling me that the GTRs are the best though. So I guess I'll stay with them.

I tried increasing the ride height on my slash for bashing. I spent more time flipping over than bashing.

    • @RCKnockout

    • @RCKnockout

A Clutch Eliminator is pretty risking especially if you bash your Stampede…it’ll ends up breaking the driveshafts or your differential or it could spin out your wheel hexes

Question: if you aren't good at gluing and dislike it that much, why didn't you just get premounted tires and rims? Is it because you wanted those specific rims?

I use ic-2000 black 20-45sec tire glue from hobbytown. Its the best glue I've used on tires. I run a bead on the inside and outside of the rims and they haven't come apart yet. I run my slash on 4s. Those tires are awesome. I got the 1/5th scale sized ones.

Yo Nolan, are the GTR really worth it for this purpose? for bashing and jumping? They are expensive and good quality but they seem to be designed for racing more than other thing, I have never had issues with the ultra shocks (which feel like they are designed to bash, with the plastic flex and the progressive shocks) after upgrading to the tin shafts and tightening the caps very well, been jumping and bashing for 2 years already, with 0 issues, reliable and durable.

    • @RCKnockout
