Hey guys! Today on my channel we are reacting to some entitled people on social media!
Entitled people posts are some of my favorites to react to on this channel, and I wouldn't be able to do the entitled topic justice unless I jumped on the entitled Karen bandwagon. Enjoy :)

When my kids' dad left after 14 years, for his new girlfriend, my boys were 6 and 10. When their dad left, he also cleaned out our joint Christmas Club account, so I had very little money to by my sons any presents for Christmas. Their dad spent the money on presents for her 3 kids. I went to work every day, mentioned it to my best friend, and on my last day of work before the Christmas break, my coworkers surprised me with 2 HUGE bags of wrapped presents from Santa, for my boys. I never asked for it, and was so overwhelmed with love and joy for my coworkers. I was stunned. It was a wonderful Christmas morning, because I was as surprised with the opening of the presents as my boys. People can be awesome! I'll never forget what they did for my sons.

I've been to one baby shower before and I brought no gift. We were working in a hospital and they just reserved one of the conference rooms for an after work party. Wasn't close to the mother at all, didn't even know about the party but they basically dragged everyone still there to eat food, play games and celebrate. It was a humble occasion but everybody was happy. All they wanted was a big crowd to share their joy. They thanked us all after. If I ever have a baby shower, that's how I'd like it to be.

GIRL SAME. “Best friend” moved in with fiancé (now husband) and me. We offered for her just to pay her portion of rent and not utilities. She said if we were struggling and needed help she would. When that time came she refused ANY help, and judged us based on what we did spend money on. Mind you, without my husband, she’d have no electricity, internet or water.
She told plenty of people that we were bad roommates and talked down on us to MY friends. We asked her to move out over a year ago, and when we said take your time, boy did she. She didn’t even start looking for a place until the tension was too much to bear. I’m half heart broken, and half relieved because we sacrificed and compromised so much that we didn’t have to. It’s great now, because we don’t have to walk on eggshells around someone who doesn’t appreciate or respect us.

Really amazing photographer with all 5 star reviews, except for one 2 star review. The reviewer said that it took too long for the photographer to edit the pictures, therefore the bad review. The photographer answered politely, that since this was a FREE PHOTOSHOOT, he had to prioritize his paying customers that's why it took longer than normal to edit.

When I went to baby showers and bridal showers, we had one person who wrote down names to go with what gift was given. This was not to shame people. It was to let mom/bride keep track so she could write thank you notes. Not everyone who was invited brought a gift. Their presence at your event was enough for you, as you valued THEM.

PETTY: I would wrap an empty box, go to the shower and have a great time. When she asked about a gift I’d reply “wasn’t it written down on the list? Look again”. Then I would end the friendship; friends are more important than the amount they spend. Someone that can’t afford to buy a gift (Covid put many people out of work could offer to babysit, clean house while the mother is recuperating etc. True friends are the real gift.

I can't with people. 5 yrs ago I HAD a friend who was turning 50. 50 days before her bday she posted a message on her FB page asking all 2,000 of her "friends" (who she really thought were her friends) to cash app her $1 a day until her 50th bday so that by her bday each would have gifted her $50 or they could just give her $50. After doing the math she would ended up with $100,000 that she deserved because she wanted to buy a house, car and get her singing career started. (She was living in a shelter at the time because she was too entitled to work). I told her that she needed to get some mental health help she told me I was just jealous of her. My jealous ass left her 50 yr old ass alone! Oh yeah she received $2. 🤦🏿

I broke my leg two weeks before I was due to take my girlfriend to the theatre for her birthday. I messaged her to explain that I couldn't go because I was still bed bound in hospital, and that I needed knee surgery (as my leg was shattered) before I could hope to even walk again. I told her she was welcome to use both tickets (I had already paid for the tickets, but said she could have both for free so it would make it easier for her to find a friend to go with.) She replied, saying how angry she was that I could make the decision not to go without discussing it with her first! No matter what I said she didn't seem to be able to grasp the concept of a broken leg and continued to tell me about the things we had done together when it was my birthday. I asked her if she had ever broken any bones before and she said that she hadn't, but her attitude was as if I had planned the whole thing to ruin her birthday. I said we would do everything we planned to do and more when I was better, but we ended up breaking up as our relationship was not the same after that. PS She knew I had been in an accident and had broken my leg before I messaged her and sent her the tickets. Madness!

As an artist, I’m forever having people expect me to make free drawings or paintings for them or pay me what works out to be about 35 cents an hour for 16 hours of work… Most recently was a colab I did with my husband. He wanted to make a wooden scroll saw plaque and asked me to draw a wolf face. I had NO clue what I was doing because I’ve never made stencils for those before and you have to be careful because the areas you want to cut out can’t completely surround the areas you want to keep. I looked at a few pictures for reference, but it took me HOURS to draw half the stencil on poster board, then I had my husband just cut the pieces out while the poster board was folded in half so it was symmetrical. He traced it onto a one inch thick wood plaque and spent about 18 hours total cutting all of it out (I made it very complex) before he sanded and stained it. He wanted to show everyone, which I was a bit upset that he was getting all the praise for how it looked, like HE came up with the concept… He can’t draw a stick figure! But he also wanted me to show one person I’d avoided showing it to for one specific reason. No lie, as soon as she saw it, “When’s he gonna make me one?” I laughed and told her when she could pay for the work that goes into it. Then she said she should get it free because she’s family (husband’s ex sister-in-law). We’re trying to make extra money off these things. The wood costs money as does the stain. And so does the time put into creating it. Not to mention the time I put into making that stencil which was such a nightmare I don’t know how I have hair left in my head. I get this all the time and I just want to smack people. A lot of time and work goes into art. Just because it’s my passion and it’s my talent and I love it doesn’t mean I don’t work like a dog because I do. And it doesn’t mean I shouldn’t get paid.

The final straw was when, after a night out, she was so drunk that she vomited multiple times in my car on the way home. Had to carry her inside (she lived at home) then spend the rest of the night trying to clean my car. Eventually had to pay $400 to get it professionally cleaned as the 'fluids' had soaked though the carpet & the smell was disgusting. Also had to replace handmade sheepskin seat covers ($300). When I asked her to put some money towards the cleanup/mess, she denied everything, called me a liar, etc., etc. Daddy took his daughters side even though he opened the front door on the night/morning (2.00am) in question. I am a teacher at a university and some of my students still keep in touch. They said they were coming to a new city where I happen to spend the summer so I said I would spend time showing them around. I also spent an hour writing down things to do, how go get to the places and tips.
When they arrived, I asked them to meet at 9 am the morning after and they agreed. I said if they wanted to sleep in, I can also meet them later and spend the day showing them the city and booked a restaurant. They didn't show up at 9am and didn't explain anything. I just left without contacting them.

✴️✴️✴️. Hey Charlotte......I have a neighbor who came back from the neighborhood store yesterday and proceeds to tell me, NOT ASK , TELL ME that she didn't have enough to pay for what she wanted so since I'm friends with the owner, she says, next time you go in there give him the 7. 35 that I owe.....wait....WHAT?????? I AM SUPPOSED TO PAY WHAT SHE OWES HIM???? I looked at her and said.....ummm....no. she actually got mad......I went to the store and told him what she said so no more credit for her......and I'm ok with her now having to walk almost 2 miles at the next closest store, which does not give credit 😉😉😉🤣🤣🤣🤣

I was told if I didn’t like those rules I could get out. So I thought I was grown at 19 and moved out. My mom made me beg and grovel before she let me move back home. I wasn’t grown yet.

If you choose to do something for a close friend or family, that is YOUR choice. These days, you can't even do that because word gets out you did something for free/discount and that's all the person hears. Creative arts take more time and money than people realize. Even the woman who spent $300 to make the cookies the friend's kid loved. Then the time it took out of her day to bake 12 dozen cookies. That is likely more money than most people gave him. I'm also sure he didn't expect a gift.

I got rid of an entitled friend in January 2017 after 28 years of "friendship". She's so entitled and honestly always has been. Her mom and dad divorced and were in competition over her love by buying her thing's. She had a pony from her mom and she had a dolphin from her dad, it was het dolphin or something and she could go swim with it whenever she wanted...it was gross. Her husband divorced her and she moved back to our home town and I had gone through something horrific in September 2012, I lost 3 children, they were 8,4 and 2 years old at the time and I could never talk about me, she would say "but what about myyyyy divorce!!" In this whiny voice. I saw exactly why he was leaving her too, she just didn't take care of her children. They slept in pee beds, and she had 2 dog's one of which she got and couldn't handle and it shit everywhere, literally everywhere. She was evicted 2 times in 6 months because she wouldn't pay rent, even though she was an R.N. and also got 500 a week in child support. Her mom spent more time with her kids than her and she was supposed to pay her mom and didn't. It didnt make sense, oh and she had an adderall addiction the likes I've never seen then xanax to bring her down..ive caught her with her hand in a spaghetti pot snoring. I cut her off 100% and never spoke to her again, I worried about her kids though.

Here in aus, it's pretty common for people to write a list or in cards who gave what. It's isn't to keep tabs of who gave gifts, it's just easier than trying to remember on a stressful, busy day, and a lot of people still write thank you notes. So if y9u go to a baby shower here, and see your name and gift being written, please don't automatically jump to the conclusion that it is a comparison. I had a friend of 8+ years and we were both broke college students when we met. I had a very wealthy boyfriend at the time but I still worked, paid my bills, etc. Since my relationship was pretty new, maybe 3 months or so, I didn't expect him to support me or anything. Whe she got engaged, she made me a bridesmaid. We were Maybe 24-25 years old or so. She was angry with me because I couldn't afford $1000 loubitans for her wedding so she could have photos of her bridesmaids kicking their foot up to show the stupid red color on the bottom. For a effing photo! One photo! One bridesmaid told her to eff off 3 days before the wedding so she had to scramble to replace the her with a girl who fit in the already altered bridesmaids dress. She was a pharmacy student, and when I showed up to the wedding there was all of the guests names written on a chockboard. Anyone who was a Dr. Had "MD" after their name and anyone who was a lawyer had "Esq." after their name. I gave her $300 cash (this was 9 years ago so it was definitely a lot of money then) plus an individual very special gift for her and her husband each that I had traveled back from thailand with. Mind you, I didn't pay much for the gifts because thailand is cheap but they were stingray and alligator material wallets and purses so would have cost at least $2k for something like that in the states, she had no idea I had bought them in Thailand either so for all she knew I paid $1-2k for just her gift. Her hubby was an absolute gem and probably why I stayed her friend so long, because her husband was like a brother to me. I also paid about $600 towards her Bachelorette party. She said I should have been able to pay for the shoes since I was dating a rich doctor. Her and her husband got in a massive fight on the wedding day because she insulted his uncle in front of his whole for being a little too drunk and demanded the uncle leave. I didn't see her for 6 months after the wedding except once, and that was that. I will never again allow someone in my life who is a user. She was a piece of work. Oh and half the wedding didn't show up, only 30 of the 50 invited...and With all these expensive demands, she was only making $12 and hr at a CVS interning and was by no means wealthy. The pretentious entitlement was enough to never speak to her again. Piece of work she was.
