I have been harassed by people like this. My husband had cancer surgery and lost an eye and had facial scarring. We were dining in a nice restaurant and some people asked us to leave because his face disturbed them. The manager asked them to leave. They then had the audacity to say we should only eat at home. I felt so bad for my husband. It took so much courage for him to go out. He was a naval officer who had been deep selected twice. He had a doctorate in physics. He deserved a little respect.

Please thank him for his service and I'm so glad that he survived everything that he went through with his surgeries. It does take a great deal to go out after you've been scarred. I was in a horrible traffic accident and of course did not come out of it the person I was before. Only a few years ago I had looked in the mirror and said Oh the person I had been I had been a fashion model well my body was definitely not that anymore but I said you know at least I still have my face in a way 2 months later a doctor made a horrific mistake and I ended up on a medication that blew my face up the size of a beach ball can you imagine what it was to come home and you couldn't even see your eyes your nose or your mouth and your ears were out to your shoulder edges and you didn't even know how your skin could stretch that far. The medication deforms your face and your back most people who have it if they have money they get plastic surgery but I can't afford that so nobody understands that's why I don't go out. I took that steering wheel of the face pretty good I thought I didn't have my nose the way it was anymore etc and I didn't ask for the scars to be redone. My husband at the time couldn't forgive me for the one scar that you couldn't even see on the bottom of his chin in our marriage failed and I went on but to have my face the way it looks now is hard but I have to look at it and go hey you're still alive My doctor's are proud of me because even though my oxygen to survive because what the doctor did damaged to be so bad that I can't survive without oxygen at a very high dose etc and I made it through COVID even though I have a lingering illness now from it My doctor laughs and says my God everything you've been through in life You are really hard to kill and I should be proud of that So your husband should wear his battle scars whether they were one working for our government for our people for our safety or one through battling in illness He should be proud that he made it through and he should go out to dinner at a fine restaurant in the world should be thankful that they did it have to fight that battle themselves. Therefore but for the grace they have not had to go.

Eh, I sort of see that differently. It's kind of sketchy to me that a manager wouldn't give out their name.
It makes me think they did something wrong and are trying to avoid accountability. Otherwise why not answer the question and end the discussion?

That video of the girl berating her boyfriend at the airport is a video I have seen before and I know the story behind it. He (her boyfriend) paid for a trip to a foreign country for both of them. She was already abusive before all this. He had secured all the stuff they would need to enjoy their trip however, they still needed to declare things after they arrive. She always berated him from the beginning. She never treated him respectfully and always thought she was entitled to things. She is the definition of a Karen. I felt for the guy when I watched this and knew the story behind it.

When our kids were young we went to the beach for a week. I sat with my 6 year old making a sand castle. Over her shoulder I heard a kerfuffle and there was a family with 2 girls under 10 and a little boy about 2. The boy was stomping on their sandcastle and Karen was saying, "he's just a little boy, he doesn't understand. Let him have his way." She never chastised him. Anyway, after the boy destroyed his sisters' castle, he saw our beautiful castle and came right over. He stared at it and raised his foot and I said "NO!". He put his foot down on the castle with a stubborn look and I yelled NO this time. He burst into tears and the mother came running over, picked him up and accused me of hitting him! Some beach neighbours told her I didn't. I calmly explained that I wasn't going to let him destroy MY daughter's castle.
She called me every name under the sun, created a terrible scene and said he was too young to understand NO and I "should have just let him have his way"! She wouldn't leave and was scaring my daughter. Then her husband came over, and he started in on me. I'm tall and can take care of myself but I've never been so thankful to see my husband come out of the surf with our other kid. He's big. 6'6", solid muscle, and looks mean, although he's a pussycat. He asked what was wrong in his deep voice. The husband took one look at him and scurried back to their place on the sand, dragging his still cussing wife. People applauded. I would love to be a fly on the wall in their home when that boy becomes a teenager. He'd obviously never been told No before.

For the woman that broke the bus window, the bus driver is totally within his rights. When you work on public transport, you get a feel for trouble making people and if they’re not there waiting for the mode of transport, then they have to deal with the consequences of being late.
Not to mention, there are processes in place where employees can get in big trouble where the paperwork isn’t worth it just because people have terrible time management. If she’s willing to punch and break a bus window, would that be the kind of person you’d want to be responsible for during your service? They’re not worth the trouble and she needs to work on her time management rather than blame others because she can’t keep herself together. Seriously, you get sick of “being nice” after a while because people aren’t nice to you about you going out of your way to do them a favour. They expect it and management expects on time running.

I mean when she doesn’t want to look bad because she’s jealous of more attractive women she claims it’s her husband? I mean she basically called her husband a pedophile because of her jealousy but you still want to blame men? I mean we legitimately have no evidence any men we’re checking these go out. My bus driver was straight up just ableist towards me. For context, I have Cerebral Palsy. My Junior year of high school, she moved me up to the front of the bus into an assigned seat. Now, Im not a kid that ever acted out on the bus. I minded my own business, and always sat with one of my friends because she was my only friend on the bus. I had no troubles getting from the back of the bus to the front, and would only stumble when someone had their stuff in the isle. I was the only person she moved into the front of the bus. She didnt give me a reason, she just said "no more sitting in the back of the bus".
My senior year, I was allowed in the back again, but this year, she had a seat jump system. She would have whatever student that was off next, walk up to the front before their stop when the kid before them was being let off. Sometimes I didnt make it all the way to the front before she'd start moving again, so id just sit down. She then told me as I was getting off, near the end of the year, that she'd put me in the front again. She only ever did this because it would save her a couple extra seconds of me walking to the front of the bus.

There's a difference between yelling and keeping the children under control for safety reasons. From how she screamed at Mom like a banshee, I would bet she made the kids cry. And Mom, when you're putting the kids on the bus and all the others are watching, is not the right time to reprimand the bus driver's behavior. Call the school and make an appointment to discuss this with the principal and bus driver at the District Office.

Last year, I insulted my Karen manager, getting myself fired, on purpose.
I had this corporate job, as an analyst, last year. I now have the same job, different company. My manager was this totally gaslighting piece of work, who reached a climactic orgasm every time she would be able to confuse someone to the point of tears, I swear.
Example: she would need something done; she would let me decide on the order and the timing of things. So she would ask "option A, or option B, what do you want to do?" I would then say "option A, please". She would then say "no, not gonna happen". I would reply "fine, option B it is then". She would then ask "why do you suddenly decide on option B, if you wanted option A?" Generally I wouldn't know what to say, for fear of getting scolded or fired. After starting acting on this option B, she would interrupt, and ask me "what are you doing?" To which I would be obviously puzzled, and waiting for her instruction. She might then say "what you do is, is secret option C, do you not know this?" I would reply "no". She would then ask "are you able to work solo, are you a grownup (I was 40 years old at the time)?" Then her boss would come up to me, asking "why are you working on option C?" To which I would explain the situation. He would then tell me, you do option A, that is more logical. Which conversation Karen would join, telling him, "I told him to do option A, he wouldn't listen to me".
I was fed up with her, and her mind-games. I was planning to quit. But in my country, when you quit, you do not get severance pay. So getting fired, except if it is for a criminal act, is actually a financially more savvy way to leave a company. So I needed to get fired, fast.
After only 2 months with the company I was done, fed up, and literally burning out, and not sleeping. So another one of her little games ensued, to which I told her "I am done, you are the meanest, most evil person I have ever had to work with in one team". About which she was surprised and suggested we would talk it out. Fine. We had a pretty good conversation. After the conversation, she immediately gaslighted me again. So I told her again how mean, puzzling and evil she was. She started crying a little, and told me that I was giving her trauma. Trauma? Another attempt at gaslighting by her, because I was the one genuinely afraid of her. Not cool, to be a 40 year old dude, afraid of a 24 year old girl, not very manly, I must admit. But then she tried turning it around on me, that I was making her life harder and was emotionally abusing her. Nope, not true. But if you want me to, I can be petty & truly mean too (which I will only ever be, when I am at the end of my rope).
So she then told me, that she was having trauma, perpetrated by me, because her mom had just died (which is indeed sad, and I could relate, as my mom died a few years ago too), and I was stacking more trauma on top of it. But I was not going to let her stifle me anymore, trying to emotionally blackmail me back in line. So I asked "OMG, how sad, your mom just died? When?" She answered, with a little snicker in her voice "a couple of days ago..."
    I said "good..."
"I am glad she is dead"
"She is better off in a grave than being your mom"
This was the first ever time, that she was truly baffled, not knowing what to say next.
    I got fired.
    But that felt goooooood...

9:16 I think this clip is the one where the boyfriend, who is on the bus, is leaving the Karen because she was physically abusive towards him and she was trying to force the bloke to stay with her. It's why she was screaming "Get off the bus". She didn't miss the bus, but trying to get at someone who was on that bus. Someone else had this video clip on their channel, a couple of years ago and someone else commented on the history of what actually happened in the clip.

@Neil Price I was going to comment the same thing. I had seen this video a while back and you are right. She wanted her BF to get off the bus and that is why she was standing in front of it at the beginning of this clip.

We had a substitute bus driver who was......a very uniquely angry person. Now I know my kids aren't perfect. That's why I looked deeper into the issues my 2 kids were coming to me about before flying off the handle, blaming the driver. There also were the many times I could hear the bus driver screaming as the bus would pull away "All you little F***ers need stay quiet/ shut up/stop bawling!" Busses are pretty loud when they're running, so that driver had to be screaming their lungs out!
Talked to other bus drivers for our school district. Asked other parents what their children's experiences had been with this sub. Learned what my kids were going through wasn't isolated. Talked to the bus barn, they brushed me off. Talked to the principal. Brushed off. Talked to the sub, was told to "F*** off." Was getting nowhere. So I kinda went up the chain of command. In a petty revenge way lol.
I asked my neighbor if they wouldn't mind taking my kids to the bus stop for a week.
They weren't impressed. If fact on the of the days when my neighbor asked the driver why they were screaming profanities at the kids. The driver told them to "Mind your own Damn business! You don't tell me how to do my job! I don't have to let these kids on my bus! You want your grandbabies to get to school (wrongfully assuming neighbors relationship to my kids ) you drive the little F***Ta**s."
Sooooooooooo, We don't live in a very uppity neighborhood. It's pretty rual. Houses bland, unassuming. That might be why the sub didn't realize my neighbor, was (retired right before the plague.) the Superintendent of our school district. Wanna guess how that worked out for that substitute driver?
This led to a bigger investigation and our district canceling the contract with the company running the bus barn and hiring a new one in it's place. Long standing and newer drivers who didn't have problems kept their positions with a pay raise. But the management, our sub driver, and a handful of others, some with worse behavior, got the sack.

Ooo that twist of your neighbor being the superintendent! Dang go you! I’m glad you did that as I had a bus driver with intense anger issues in fifth grade. But he was the main one, not a sub unfortunately.

Yeah that sub was a piece of work, but props to you for not making any assumptions, kids can be real bungholes especially to peoplw like busdrivers, cafeteria workers, etc. Ik back when i was in elementary school our buss went through 3 perm drivers and after that the rest of the year we had subs, i was raised to be respectful to people but not everyone teaches their kids right and those bus drivers didn't deserve the treatment they got from the kids on that bus

@@LazyIRanch Agreed. I was once a beautiful, toned woman who always wore a bikini. Sadly, after a C-section and turning 40, I'm more of a one piece bathing suit with shorts type of gal. 😂 But it doesn't bother me one bit seeing anyone in bikinis or speedos, etc. at the beach or pool. Small or large, no matter what you wear, be confident and own it. Every single person has beauty. And if people have negative thoughts on the matter, keep them to yourselves.

10:00 it's probably an insurance or law thing. In my country once a bus has left the bus stop, it can't let people on or off unless there's an emergency. The driver is responsible for the safety of the passengers, and letting a passenger get on outside of a bus stop means they are jeopardising their job and their license. So no, Karen can go take a hike. It's unreasonable to expect the driver to risk his livelihood because she couldn't be bothered to leave home 2 minutes earlier.
