    Can we just appreciate how truly EPIC that 1968 U.S. Olympic Men’s track & field squad was 🔥 Absolutely Incredible athletes but also incredibly Strong personalities who Stood for social justice. Had the pleasure to meet Mr. Beamon years ago at the USATF offices in downtown Indy. VERY humble Man.

    fantastic - we CDN white kids about 12 yrs old had MLK, Ali, Beamon, Carlos & Smith as heroes with (we figured) common cause - plus that summer of 68 soul music dominated the world; and key to me the track (we in that day called them, songs) Lickin' Stick came out
