Interesting ideas, personally I don't think regaining height should be a priority, we all know due to our harsh weather taller coaster can struggle to operate, so I fear would be a wasted opportunity. An intemin or even RMC single could be a good shout but maybe not just one, a racing one of these might make steeplechase redundant but then also create that knock-on effect for them to then remove that for a new investment.
There are so many options, Mack extreme spinner could also mean to remove enso off icon trains.
New gen Vekoma would be good not a tilt but like Lech Coaster would be cheap enough offer a great ride & doesn't take a big footprint unless you want to make it one.

The pleasure beach has really suffered by not replacing rides they have shut. Mad mouse, trauma towers or whatever it was called. Space invader 2, black hole waltzer. I might have missed some and not actually sure if a ride has taken up the black hole space? I went for the first time last year since I was a kid about 16 years ago.
I still did enjoy myself as I’d never been on Icon. But I could tell it was missing rides that weren’t rollercoasters. I’d be down for a new coaster in this spot, but I’d like to see some non coaster rides as well. Maybe another water ride as I miss the log flume. It’s very nostalgic for me so I still like river caves and the ghost train. But let’s be real, we’re driven by nostalgia here. A new water ride could go where river caves is

300ft B&M would be the most reliable and biggest ride of the UK. No competition. Done. A massive investment but a guaranteed “We are here and not going anywhere” statement for decades to come. (considering the state and age of Ice Blast) I assume a recording breaking height coaster would be subject to wind closures just the Big One.. Great video I just can’t see them letting the record go that easily. They are obviously rattled by Thorpe going 236ft to send a truck down and if they are not having the usual track replacement this winter perhaps they are going to adapt the Big One extend the first drop by 30ft maybe and make it the Bigger One. It would certainly be the cheapest option and give them the record back.

Taller coasters deal with the wind a lot better these days, Big One’s design didn’t factor in wind issues. If it did there’s no way they’d have had the turnaround as it is

Im not sold on the idea of a Mach Extreme Spinner.. Back to back mach's while possible feels improbable.. and with Icons very similar Enzo back train (that they profit on having it an upcharge attraction) those rides would feel too similar next to each other. why pay for enzo when you have a free spinning coaster is what I'm thinking and I doubt BPB would take out Enzo because its a quick buck which they sorely need

After the van stint I think they will go with a red force style launch coaster for Height, Speed, and one or two other records, one trick pony type coaster. Probably European ones. I think Avalanche will go also to make way, and if they go for a 300ft + this will mean the continuation of existing smaller/older ride closures and a re landscaping of the park to fit in with their resort model. If they don't go for records I feel it won't work for them long term to reverse the parks fortunes. They need another "Big One" moment now.

flatten avalanche as well. 250ft vekoma tilt. Certainly make a splash, but it'd make the big one a bit anomynous
I don't think they'd do an extreme spinner because it'd make enso rudundant.
