I just started messing around with grooves again the last couple days. Pretty straight forward, but the thing that truly puzzled me was the naming convention. It was clear that 50 was less impactful than 70, but thanks for clearing this up in your other video on grooves. 👍

A couple other tips: When using multiple hat sounds, pan them differently. I also use Sound Particles' Energy Panner plug-in which will move sounds around (left/right) based on the brightness. If you set this just right, the hat will move slightly from left to right as it's played.

Thanks for the tip! I downloaded a demo of Energy Panner! Trying it out right now.

Real nice video, great tips! Especially how easy it is to adjust velocity and groove. Soo good reminders, thanks!
Dude, I just wondered, where can I check out the songs you've released so far?

I followed all steps in this video and I hot-swapped hundreds of groove pool files. None of the steps I performed improved my hi-hats. Surely there's got to be a better way.
