@@Aphextal93 Are you using the default keybinds? I started learning classic because I felt like I was wasting a button on my leverless since using autocombos is so unergonomic.
@@Aphextal93 I gave this a go today and your binds are certainly an improvement over the defaults. Now I have to unlearn classic again 😅 but that's fine lol.
It’s soo stupid that they get rid of 50% of your moves and penalize you for using modern. If they didn’t do that I would use modern in a heartbeat. The way crapcom punishes you for using modern sucks
@@JoeyCentralthat’s kinda of the point. If you want play the “easy”mode it’s must be compromises due to less buttons. I’m saying that as a modern player and I have no problems with its current state.
@Snazzysnail15 in a literally sense yes but what I mean is since you push both buttons at the same time it's one input the parry macro for example doesn't reduce the amount of frames it takes to parry so the only advantage is getting to push 1 button instead of 2 but it's not like pushing 2 buttons at the same time is hard
I grew up playing fighting games on a keyboard since I didn't have a console and there wasn't a single arcade in my country, so just pressing qcf 2x is the easiest thing I can do😅
i've been playing GGST on a box for a while and the double quartercircle specials were very easy to master and became easy to spam in tight gaps in blockstrings without much issue. The guilty gear super input ( 63246 ) ( half-circle from front to back and then forward again ) is MUCH, much harder to get out in a pinch like in a reversal situation.
Theres a combo with luke that needs me to dash after medium knockle and then do lvl 2 as soon as possible. This will probably make it 10 times easier. Thanks man
Thanks Bri 🎉 I’ve been trying to wrap my head around super shortcuts and your way of explaining it just switched the light on in my brain. Wow so good. Thank You subbed & Liked. Yess. 😊
I think it´s the best shortcut to do double quarter circle. My problem is when I try to do it backwards; it feels weird. But I think it´s just a matter of practice and get used to it. Any feedback, please?
you can do f, qcf for the DP motion and a single qcf for the super, like this: f, qcf + p, qcf + p. The qcf motion from the DP gets reused, thus no need to mash out two qcf's in a DP cancel window.
Wait, do you constantly hold down and up? Like in every scenario, you hold down and up, and then release them in order to preform inputs? Like you release up in order to crouch, rather than press down
Your hitbox is not tournament legal because it’s using an old form of SOCD. You may want to look at what software is offered for your controller if there is any.
How to do Vega's (Claw) super? That f***ing "Z" is impossible to do in any controller and pro players spam that sh1t. I really want to learn this. It will help a lot in my matches.
It is not based on the game it is based on the device. You can play with this method in any game if you want and you can play up+down=up in sf6 with no issues you just won't be able to play in any capcom tournaments with it because it is against the rules. He has his device set to up and down = neutral because he enters tournaments. But as far as I'm aware there is no rule for just playing the game that would ban you from using it if you are more comfortable that way and don't intend on entering tournaments. Both methods have different shortcuts available to them. I don't even play charge characters which people say is the big advantage of up/down=up, I just didn't feel like getting used to letting go of down to jump because I play pretty casually.
There is an update for hitbox. For other leverless controllers idk. You will have to do some research. But pretty much capcom banned d+up=up. Instead d+up must equal neutral. So leverless controllers had to update there software.
[Down + Up = Neutral] is the new-ish capcom pro tour compliant solution. Before [Down + Up = Up] was the standard hitbox SOCD. 4.2.3 Simultaneous input of movement actions [...] if up and down inputs are made simultaneously, the character must not perform a jump or crouch action, and if the left and right inputs are made simultaneously, the character must not perform a forward or backward movement action.
I just wiggle the dpad and pray
Literally me 😭, switching to hitbox next week tho gonna be a pain

Recommendation if you keep doing hitbox tricks: get some input display software - it helps explain things a lot visually.

Yes basically a HitBox/Leverless layout overlay so the stream can see what buttons you press.
Modern players: All that for a drop of blood..
its the same speed as modern and more damage

very good advice

Funny how he has some crazy shortcuts for supers but doesn't use the macro for parry and DI.
Those macros dont reduce the number of inputs so thats a bit different anyway
I literally have to use macros csuse of the limitations of the keyboards I use
He hates the negative edge part where you gotta release as part of an input like a qcf.
@@goldsage4722is it not 1 button press to two?

I like this type of content. I'm using hitbox for the first time in a fighting game and I'm struggling a lot with supers.

It's certainly an attainable skill but man it takes time. Forget about how long double qcb takes to master

RUclips with the perfect recommendation i needed after starting to learn SF6 on leverless today. My super inputs were crazy sloppy during my session
Just switched to leverless, thanks for making this!

I find doing it normally on P1 side ok, but on P2 side I think this technique would work way better for me.
i was just spamming down -> right twice as fast as i can and hope the overlap is enough
I need to try this. Supers on my leverless are pretty painful for me. Especially when I have to use my ring finger
yeah this method is nice. easier than what i was doing. thx

Is there a SOCD shortcut for DP into super? I miss it sometimes because I can’t piano my fingers fast enough.

I just do the normal super input on keyboard like a normie
what type of hitbox is this i want one
where did you get your hitbox and what are some good affordable options?
Best and most affordable one rn is the haute42. That company sells leverless as low as 30 bucks.
If i press up while pressing down on my hitbox, my char jumps....
I have no idea what I'm doing
Wait, do you constantly hold down and up? Like in every scenario, you hold down and up, and then release them in order to preform inputs? Like you release up in order to crouch, rather than press down
Can this be done in a combo and if so is it practical. Say cammy bnb into lvl 3?
Whenever i press up on my hitbox my character does jumps instead of neutral, do i have to input the super faster or is there a different problem
Your hitbox is not tournament legal because it’s using an old form of SOCD. You may want to look at what software is offered for your controller if there is any.
Is there a related in-game match clip? I just wonder who is dashing into super?
At the end of the combo he dashes into level 1, 1:50.
The combo at the end ends with dash into lvl 1
