I had similar issues with my ‘04 auto trans. Threw a scanner on it and found a faulty solenoid. Ended up just swapping out the entire valve body that’s in the trans and the issue was resolved.
yes if you have a 5 spd auto it will be the same as older g35. there are 8 bolts around the transmission housing you have to remove, two are very high on the top of the transmission and you can't see them from underneath, you just have to reach up and feel for them. you will have to disconnect the drive shaft at the rear of the transmission and the rear transmission mount. then disconnect the starter and the neutral safety switch. disconnect your exhaust headers and you can drop the exhaust from underneath the car. hope this helps bro. if you watch through my episodes you will see footage of us doing transmission swaps
My tourqe converter got a pinhole leaks and flywheel had micro fractures from driving about as low as you from bottoming out. Cost 6 grand to fix and then some lady totaled it a month later :(. Got another one and slammed it maxed out on some coils!! Gang shit
Not yet, still working on it. Changed the entire engine wire harness & now have a no start issue,going to swap bcm and get programmed once I get the car turning on again I will be testing as is then adding abs wheel speed sensors. Haven't fixed yet, I've had to put the car on the back burner for a bit recently. But I'm sure it's the valvebody needs to be replaced. I will also be eliminating the stock radiator oil cooler to the trans and running a separate trans cooler because the radiator could be contaminating the solenoid in the valvebody
My G went into limp mode after I did a pull it shut off & turned back on quickly while doing the pull. The G then went into limp mode couldn’t even go into manual mode I was just stuck in 3rd gear going 60mph I turned off the highway then proceeded to turn off the car & on & it went back to normal for sure the car was in limp mode cause pulling off the freeway I notice a loss of power pedal to the medal & I wasn’t moving whatsoever. I checked my trans fluid & everything but can’t figure out what it is if anyone been through the same situation help a brother out lol (car went back to normal after turning it off & on just a bit weird that something went completely wrong & it wasn’t my trans fluid)
man I'm almost 100 percent sure in my case atleast that I'm having a tcm or valvebody issue. either valvebody itself or the solenoid. I'll be replacing soon and hopefully can report some useful news

How do you replace a 2007 g35s sedan transmission? Is the same as the older G35? Plz help
