Hello, i just got a kit and after watching your build log, i wanna make mine wireless too lol. But yours doesn't have a physical power on off switch for the nice!nano battery right?
Considering picking this up as 'practice' for my first full Keeb-solder job as its cheap, interesting and has everything I could need for an occasional fuckaround board, that's not too cumbersome to store. Would you recommend? How you liking the feel/sound of the plates-only case, and the size or layout? Any other suggestions?
The nice!nano requires lithium rechargeable batteries, which charge by plugging in power via the USB-C port. The tiny 110mAh battery can last up to a month with the LEDs off with this board, but a couple weeks is more realistic.
@@TheNicell with the LEDs on, how long would it realistically last? nice build btw! we need more of these guides since the bluetooth mcu community is finally taking off :)
@@Thyassasin99 with the LEDs on, about 30 minutes on the tiny battery. I would not recommend this build with LEDs on for practicality. I just love the design of the Reviung and wanted to try it.
Looks great I love the keycaps. Nice soldering skills also, very conservative with the solder. What happened to the first battery, did I miss the explaination?
What solder gun/ stick do u recommend? I am about to get one to build this board. Also what solder do u use for this? Also u need to tin the tip of the gun at the start of the build right? Do u need to clean the tip after every solder?
Sure you’ve got it by now, but if you’ve never soldered before and don’t know how, I think you should 1. Watch a video 2. Build a regular keyboard first, like 60 percent soldered and 3. Buy a cheap soldering kit off Amazon, not an expensive one off the bat
Hi Nicell! I'm quite new to building keyboards. So my question is, would it work to solder the switches directly on PCB board even though its build for hot swap sockets? I just want to use it only with the PCB board :))
not sure if you are still wondering about this, but it's possible to run without a plate. It's just a lot more stable with the plate, especially because this PCB doesn't seem to support PCB mount switches.

Came from r/MechanicalKeyboards ... Great content, love the keeb ✌️

Hey, I am building lily58 split keyboard can I use this nice!nano instead of the pro-micro
2:09:45 he has one
That's a dapper keyboard. How does the nice!nano battery work? is it rechargeable or do you have to buy one every couple of weeks/months?

2:03:40 nice!nano installation
Hey, is there any alternative to the MillMax conn pc pin circ that you used on the pin header (2:17:58), I can't find this anywhere in my country

now this is epic
Hi @Nicell or anyone else, I'm getting this keyboard, just wanted to ask about the comment in 00:02:38 , did you find a problem with it on QMK?
