Apparently the Razer Core X (non chroma) is a really good eGPU enclosure. The Chroma version has RGB lighting, and extra ports but from what I heard they can be a bit unstable. Anyway enjoy your new Thinkpad and take care of yourself!
Thank you for the kid words. I've read the same thing with eGPUs, if they have extra ports they can cause issues, which based on my experience with standard TB docking stations I can believe it. The Cooler Master EG200 also looks interesting for this since it has a separate USB-C uplink for the extra ports, leaving the TB connection to solely handle the GPU. I'm probably going to see if I can find a used or refurbished unit as well.
Hello I would like to know how to make phone calls via the X13 yoga knowing that it has two keys, one to pick up and the other to hang up, they are housed in the F10 AND F11 keys. Thanks in advance.
The thinkpads are the best. I'd be happy with just basic Intel graphics because I can get away with certain tasks to a degree. I have a couple of different ones sitting around. My favorite has been the x series. My soon to be daughter in law was given my x270 and I friggen miss it the battery life on that was amazing and it wasn't the best resolution but I could still do some pretty demanding tasks and it would still cut thru. I also have a thinkcentre m900 it's awesome for my needs productivity to me is number one. I also have a thinkpad w520 it's great but I had to configure everything a certain way so I could have the best battery life out of it. The Nvidia GPU in that was fine but laggy when it came to high graphics when I was messing around with that. I can understand what you mean and that's why I'm writing this. I was trying to find a happy medium since I like to do a lot of different things but alas I miss the x270 definitely gotta get another x series at some point soon.
I've heard great things about the AMD ThinkPads for the last few generations, something like the X13 or L13 AMD models could be a great option for you as well
@@retropcdurham I had good experience with the AMD PHENOM 6 core. I had a laptop with a Ryzen 5 and it ate battery life like it was no tomorrow lol. I only like to play old doom based games and some other types of games that don't require much power lol. I did put new thermal paste in the w520 and that helped performance big time. Yeah I'll have to read reviews on those. I wouldn't mind using a newer one I'd need I dongle because of the operating systems I like to use but I know that they are very compatible with open source operating systems.
If you have a model with LTE there is supposed to be support for integrated calling, but I don't know if that feature is supported in Windows and in all countries. For me in Canada LTE enabled laptops have always been data only and don't have support for SMS or Phone.
SOON(TM) as IRL has been very busy the last two weeks especially between work and kids, I haven't had much downtime to record. It's on the top of my video to do list though, so the next video I post will 100% be on this ThinkPad!
Nice one Chris, enjoy your new ThinkPad!
Don't forget to take care of you ! Glad to see that you are back
Thanks!

Great unboxing! By any chance, do you know what is the compatible pen for this model?
Cheers from Guatemala!
It does come with a Lenovo Integrated Pen, 4X81E21569. I will work with a bunch of other ones as well but this is the one that fits into the pen slot.
