It's evident Pee Wee is heavily into Christmas Disco Rock. Strutter Dog is probably more of a KISS Reunion type of fan...more casual. The KISS Journal IMO is 'the best' gift for Kissmas. Something so original and affordable for real KISS fans to give or add to their collections going into 2025. At Christmas time I often think of those long-ago KISS Rock and Roll Over era photos featured in rock mags in the late 70s. The ones with the original band in a winter-scene holding these long candles, covered in fake snow wearing white robes. The photos were mostly outtakes from a shoot which as I recall never made it to an official poster at the time. Your playlist is very cool and would have been the same songs I would have selected to play on my parents '65 Electrohome console stereo back in Christmas '78. If I could compile a Kiss Christmas Playlist I'd probably go for Hard Luck Woman- Alive II, Charisma, I Love It Loud, And On the Eighth Day, Shock Me- Alive II, and Kiss- self titled (entire album) simply because these were the songs that I was listening to the most during the Christmas season of 1989 and they were still new to me back then being a younger Kiss fan. Actually, the entire Dynasty album for my Christmas Playlist on 8-track of course for me and I used to be my own d.j. and switch from Lp to 8-track tape, and cassette back in the day. 😊 I got an avalanche of vintage 70's Kiss goodies arriving after Christmas. I figured I worked extremely hard, had a bit of overtime put in, and got a raise. So I figured may as well treat myself this holiday and did just that. 😊🎄 🧑🎄 🎅 Have a Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 Ric to you and yours! 😊 Awesome shot glasses too! They're extremely detailed (graphics look sharp and vivid). I seldom buy new Kiss merchandise anymore. But those are totally awesome! 😊 P.s.- I just thought of a perfect Christmas punch for those Dynasty shot glasses. This was something that my mom's mother (my grandmother) made every Christmas season; Add fresh Cranberries with water and freeze.( Ice cube trays optional, my grandmother used a jello mold ring.) Add together Ginger Ale soda Canada Dry, Canada Dry club soda, Cranberry Juice (equal amounts), and a little bit of fresh ginger root. Boil one package of Cherry Jello (make according to the package), and add this in at the very last before the jello 'sets'. I miss this Christmas punch and haven't had it since the late 1980's. Alcohol is optional, but not sure what would go great with this punch since I don't drink alcohol.

Kiss Nerd Fun!! Let's keep it rolling Ric! I have something to share with you that I hope you really like. And hopefully this is a first time you have ever heard this. I was flipping through some vintage Circus Magazines recently and spotted something extraordinary. These were magazines I bought back starting 1977- 1979 Bought them at the time they came out. Here goes. The magazine was issue number 192 October 3, 1978. The article title is "Royalty on the Road" by Mark Mehler It is a piece looking at the requirements and the quirks of rockers on the road. And on page 30 there is a picture of Gene and Paul with a caption underneath that read: Out on the road, Kiss' Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons drink imported beer only - bottles, not cans, thanks. And the significance of this? Is the obvious of course. I was an 18 year old getting every Circus Magazine issue at that time. And the drinking or partying thing was something normal to hear about in a rock publication. And so I didn't think twice about it back then. But to reread it 46 years later, and knowing their stance on drinking, especially Gene's, floored me. But the article is there. I found it remarkable. So if you do not have that issue already, you can add a new piece to your vast Kiss collection. Would love to hear back what you think about it. Thanks man! Merry Christmas!

The magazine publishing an article about 'life on the road', a cool KISS photo, and then a scramble for a cool tagline under the photo (true or not). Fun to think about for sure. In hindsight, I think if that was truly the case we would see photos everywhere of Paul drinking, the way we saw with Jimmy Page, to EVH. But that's awesome. Cool looking set. I was hoping for a 50th anniversary release of Hotter than Hell w/some bonus material. I'm not into the vinyl releases. My top 3 favorite Kiss albums are Hotter than Hell, Creatures of the Night & Dynasty. I should point out it's very hard to pick a third. I could have picked a few others but Dynasty edges out the others by such a small margin. Edit, 20 mins later. Idea for HtH bonus disc, Winterland show as recorded in late 1974 (No Tommy Thayer overdubs). Of course any unreleased demos. I'm not sure there are any.

@@ItsAllForYouDemon I just learned that Asylum wasn't certified Platinum, only Gold. Nothing wrong with a Gold record but the others from that era went Platinum. I've always thought Asylum did too. Is there a time limit on that? I'd be surprised if it hasn't sold over 1 million in all the years since considering new fans & people like me that bought multiple copies. My world view has been shaken. Asylum has a special place for me, being their latest release when I seriously got into KISS & metal in general (RATT round & round, heard it & never the same after that.) What's wrong with society????

Cool looking set. I was hoping for a 50th anniversary release of Hotter than Hell w/some bonus material. I'm not into the vinyl releases. My top 3 favorite Kiss albums are Hotter than Hell, Creatures of the Night & Dynasty. I should point out it's very hard to pick a third. I could have picked a few others but Dynasty edges out the others by such a small margin.
Edit, 20 mins later. Idea for HtH bonus disc, Winterland show as recorded in late 1974 (No Tommy Thayer overdubs). Of course any unreleased demos. I'm not sure there are any.

@@ItsAllForYouDemon I just learned that Asylum wasn't certified Platinum, only Gold. Nothing wrong with a Gold record but the others from that era went Platinum. I've always thought Asylum did too. Is there a time limit on that? I'd be surprised if it hasn't sold over 1 million in all the years since considering new fans & people like me that bought multiple copies. My world view has been shaken. Asylum has a special place for me, being their latest release when I seriously got into KISS & metal in general (RATT round & round, heard it & never the same after that.) What's wrong with society????

You should check out these guys in the link below…they did a country version of the entire dynasty album and it’s awesome…Charisma and Save Your Love are my personal favorites of these remakes.
