I got to tour an Escape tiny house at one of the Florida Tiny House Festivals. I believe it was the XL model. It was by far one of my favorites! The quality of these is top-notch. The layout is great. I could totally see myself living in one. The only thing holding me back is my ability to legally put it on a foundation on a small piece of property that I would have to buy. It's illegal in my county. To make it legal, I'd have to put it in the backyard of an existing home as an accessory dwell unit (ADU). Well, I can't afford to buy a home, which is why I want to live in a tiny to begin with. I'm hoping the laws change in the near future so I can make this dream a reality.

Seems like 50% markup on house and land. Still might be worth it for $50k and $300 rent only because looks clean, well maintained and safe. What does rent include? gated security? On site property manager that lives there ? hot water? internet? laundry? Pool? Insurance? You can find cheap land in Florida, but running power, water, septic, internet are going to cost you. And then you need to consider maintenance, road quality, security and proximity to retail and hospitals. Would like to see Florida Building codes adapted for Tiny homes, Off-grid and smarter water/waste treatment options.
I Love the idea of this Tiny house village🤗💕 ~ I have safety concerns about hurricane season in Florida though. They "are" tiny & that is a lot of glass 😳
I live about 10 minutes from this place and Florida has very strict build restrictions for any type of mobile home/trailer. They have to be able to hold up to at least a cat 3 hurricane. In the area where I live we haven't ever really had a direct hit from a hurricane and there are plenty of hurricane shelters in the area where these are.

$75,000..But the lot rent is $400.00 a month permanently..That $400.00 a month includes trash pick up, access to clubhouse area..If you have decent credit they’ll finance the run house to you for $475.00 a month plus the $400.00 a month lot rent..So for $875.00 you get your tiny house payment + lot rent + trash + clubhouse access..Your electricity, water, and cable/internet is NOT Included....So there you go..If you just rent one just subtract $50.00,, and this is your price..So with everything you’ll most likely be out $1,000 to $1,200 a month..That doesn’t include your food of course 😂😂..It’s ok for a couple that both have incomes Or someone retired with nice pension + their Social Security....This is for lot #1..And YES, they are completely furnished!
