im up to 9 for the g3 and my crossbreed came i love the lakeline sleeve and the galloway spring the 18 pounder in it too think its great gun but taurus pulled a ruger on this one
@@joemorganeatmyshortschannel I have a Canik TP9SFX. Read they would fit so tried it. They will fit the G3 but the G3 mags are too short to fit the Canik. Got Canik mags with a factory plus 2 to make them 20 rounds. Think they run around$36.
If I remember correctly Taurus bought the old Beretta factory in Sao Paulo and with it they inherited all of the M9/92fs/92g tooling. Since then they have been producing wonderful, affordable firearms for us with just a hint of Beretta flavor. Big thanks from the U.S. to Brazil for hosting one of my favorite firearms manufacturers. 🙏🏼

I loved the g2/g3 line because they seemed like they were trying to have many generations of compatibility like glock has had. I feel like that is a big part of why so many people like glock.
My oldest daughter bought one for her first pistol. She really liked it as a starter pistol but she's sold it and upgraded to a 40 S&W she carries now.

I bet someone will make a +1 and +2 mag extension soon. The +1 extension will give you the room to rest the pinky finger while increasing the mag capacity without making the grip too long.
Went to the range yesterday and myself and three others tested the GX4. Will be going to the LG Monday to trade my Sig 365. My gosh, Taurus really did produce a true winner. Better than my 365 is every category. Thanks for the review and info. Will be looking for many more on the Taurus.

I own the Taurus G3C and am in the process of acquiring the GX4 because I really like the G3C ! So when I came across this vid I wanted to know exactly the answer to that question . So I appreciate knowing now the differences and the answer ! I can't find anywhere right now that has the 13 round extended GX4 mags for under $41 bucks hopefully I can ! Funny how my Mossberg MC2C and my MC2SC mags are interchangeable though ! So it can be done ! The mags of some compact and subcompacts can be interchanged ! Great video though !
People can hate on the G3c all they want, I know I was but after I shot one I had to have one. I went out the next day and bought one and I’ve loved it ever since. It’s a damn good gun especially got the price, and it comes with 3 Mags

Hey 2A, when yiu take the down gun by turning the take down with a screw driver, is it suppose to reset when you put it back together ? I saw a video that showed it did not and when he dried fired the slide came off. I am was just wondering
I will use the flush fit or pinky extension with the standard GX4 factory mags. !! + 1 is fine with me for civilian Concealed carry. When I was a leo I carried a 5 shot 2" barrel for an off duty firearm and was comfortable with it. Taurus has really come alive and jumped to the front of the reliable and affordable line. BTW, the G3C and TX22 are great guns and will stand up to all competition.

Great video I think that because they offer great firearms at unbelievable prices the mags and other accessories are how they make a few more dollars which is not a big deal considering mags are $40-$50 with some of the higher end pistols. When I bought my G2c they only had one holster and when I bought my viridian laser it wouldn’t fit so now they make one that’s works so I got it think it was 50 plus shipping again thanks for the info on the new firearm can’t wait to get mine
Man I absolutely love this thing I shot the p365 the hellcat and every other micro compact even close for me once I'm getting used to holding it and controlling the jump this is the most accurate little pistol I've ever shot for a 9 mm of the size insanely accurate

Hey. I don't think so. I can do a quick video on it when I get a chance, and show how the feeding portion of the mags are dif. I will try, but the very top is a dif profile and the follower is also dif.
You had another great video forewarning about a potential disaster! Forcing a magazine into mag well and potentially ruining your gun! You know I was trying to see how the G4X follows the G2C,G3C and it is not meant to be an extension of that line! It adds a totally different element in its size and length, magazine capacity and sight potential! This $399 G4X with a shorter length 6.05 , height 4.04 , magazine capacity 11 crushes Glocks 43 @ $543 length 6.26 height 4.25 magazine capacity 6! I would love to see you compare these two at a range day!👍🏻🇺🇸
I have a G3C. Went to Academy to see a GX4, to get a feel of it in my hand. Grip a little shorter, feels lighter. To me just as easy to conceal compared to the G3C. I'll wait to see if they release a TORO version.
I feel the gx4 is Taurus trying to give the hellcat a competitor at a cheaper price point. Size isn't too different between the guns. Biggest difference is the width which the hellcat wins easily. With how cheap they are. I'll probably pick one up
One more thing, the Glock 43x will almost take a Barretta 92 mag (with a small cut it may be possible) BUT it will damage that same part of you smack it in place (don’t know from experience lmao I had the gun apart when I tried it)
I have a g2c and g3c and have been having some feeding issues I believe are due to mag springs. Do you know if any glock springs work or any others I’m not able to find Taurus ones
Wonder if the pinky extension base of the g2c will fit the mag of the gx4 ? Because the pinky extension Taurus makes isn't long enough to get your little finger on
Barrel interchangeability? I know the barrel can be switched in the others, but will the GX4 barrel work in the G2c and G3c? Thanks for the videos that you put out. And yes, it is your fault that I own the G2C, G3, G3c and the TX 22.
Was gonna ask this on one of your g3c videos, but since you're talking about mags, I'll ask here. I know the g3c 12rd mag itself retains the spring and the G3 15rd mag the baseplate retains the spring, but what about the 17rd? Are the g3 15rd mag and g3c 17rd baseplate's interchangeable, I want to run the g3 15rd mag for cc but want the pinky rest baseplate that the 12rd and 17rd mags have. Thank you. I just tried it for you. Yes, the 17rd base plate fits the 15 rd mag. Unfortunately, it wont work though. It changes the angle of the baseplate, and the 15 round mag will not lock into the G3 grip frame with the 17rd baseplate on it.
@@bennett338able If you are running the G3 15 round in a G3c, I highly recommend using the grip sleeve spacers from Bloody Wheels. I have done videos on those. Check my Taurus playlist.

My local store has g2c, g3c and gx4. I held the gx4 and like it. Kinda wish the g2/3c didn't have thumb safeties. I'm probably going to pass on the gx4 because I just bought a g3c and I don't need to go down another rabbit hole with holsters and mags.
Man I handled one of these at a local shop and I’m prolly gonna get shit for it but when they come out with an optics ready version of this, and you know they will, this might replace my 365. The trigger is wayyyyyyy better.
Oh yeah, I've already suggested that in another comment thread. The 13 round mags have been available since day 1 of the launch. I agree would be nice to get a larger magazine, 16 or 17 to compete with the sig 15 rounders. For 365 I have 15, 20 and 30. I would say its not necessary but because of the political climate I would be wrong.
I have a G3C TORO. What are opinions on an optic for these? It shoots great but it shoots low. I'm considering an optic because it's set up up for that. I would love to have this sweet pistol shoot point of aim.

If they only knew how many products of theirs you have sold for them and i've bought many pistols because of your videos. Ihave a TX22, g2c, g3c g3 and bought my gx4 today. Ihad to pay 413.00 out the door, Ill pay full price, cause I was very lucky to find it. What they sent in the box was a pistol keychain, I thought cool, but it is actually the take down tool to remove the slide, the mag on the tool is actually the screwdriner, too cool. PEACE!

So you want a video where someone intentionally pulls the trigger incorrectly in order to induce a malfunction? Hard pass. Triggers were not designed to be pulled diagonally to the rear. Thanks for watching though.
I'm digging the cosmetics of the GX4, same as the TX22. It would be very cool if they eventually offered a 15+ round 9mm version of the TX22. The triggers are incredible for a striker, the mechanics is very similar in design to the Walther's PPQ triggers. Kudos to Taurus for stepping up their quality and moving their company in the right direction!
I bought the pinky extension and the 13rd mag extension kit. Trying to put it together. Popped myself in the neck with the spring, hahaha. Funny but hurt
I bought a gx4 mine shoots good and slide goes all the way into battery but when I’m cleaning it or rack it by hand and I don’t let slam back the slide doesn’t go alll the way forward I have to tap it for it to go all the way forward

My Canik mags work in the G3, G3C. Won't lock the slide open is the only problem.

How was the finish on that? Is it more durable than previous generations or about the same?
Seems good so far, but I havent carried it yet. I'm sure it is better than the G2c, and maybe on par with the G3c?

Hey dude I doubt you will ever see this but do you think I could mill out the space for the mag catch on a g3 mag so it fits the gx4? Does it feed rounds into the chamber? I think I could make it work
Hey. I don't think so. I can do a quick video on it when I get a chance, and show how the feeding portion of the mags are dif. I will try, but the very top is a dif profile and the follower is also dif.

You had another great video forewarning about a potential disaster! Forcing a magazine into mag well and potentially ruining your gun! You know I was trying to see how the G4X follows the G2C,G3C and it is not meant to be an extension of that line! It adds a totally different element in its size and length, magazine capacity and sight potential! This $399 G4X with a shorter length 6.05 , height 4.04 , magazine capacity 11 crushes Glocks 43 @ $543 length 6.26 height 4.25 magazine capacity 6! I would love to see you compare these two at a range day!👍🏻🇺🇸
Promag came out with the 50 round mag and a 30 round mag for the gx4. Can you do a review on it?
Not on RUclips. There is a 29 round limit. Tons of rules against guns.

I have a G3C. Went to Academy to see a GX4, to get a feel of it in my hand. Grip a little shorter, feels lighter. To me just as easy to conceal compared to the G3C. I'll wait to see if they release a TORO version.
I feel the gx4 is Taurus trying to give the hellcat a competitor at a cheaper price point. Size isn't too different between the guns. Biggest difference is the width which the hellcat wins easily. With how cheap they are. I'll probably pick one up

One more thing, the Glock 43x will almost take a Barretta 92 mag (with a small cut it may be possible) BUT it will damage that same part of you smack it in place (don’t know from experience lmao I had the gun apart when I tried it)
I have a g2c and g3c and have been having some feeding issues I believe are due to mag springs. Do you know if any glock springs work or any others I’m not able to find Taurus ones

Was gonna ask this on one of your g3c videos, but since you're talking about mags, I'll ask here. I know the g3c 12rd mag itself retains the spring and the G3 15rd mag the baseplate retains the spring, but what about the 17rd? Are the g3 15rd mag and g3c 17rd baseplate's interchangeable, I want to run the g3 15rd mag for cc but want the pinky rest baseplate that the 12rd and 17rd mags have. Love the channel, keep the great content coming!
Thank you. I just tried it for you. Yes, the 17rd base plate fits the 15 rd mag. Unfortunately, it wont work though. It changes the angle of the baseplate, and the 15 round mag will not lock into the G3 grip frame with the 17rd baseplate on it.

@@bennett338able If you are running the G3 15 round in a G3c, I highly recommend using the grip sleeve spacers from Bloody Wheels. I have done videos on those. Check my Taurus playlist.

My local store has g2c, g3c and gx4. I held the gx4 and like it. Kinda wish the g2/3c didn't have thumb safeties. I'm probably going to pass on the gx4 because I just bought a g3c and I don't need to go down another rabbit hole with holsters and mags.

Oh yeah, I've already suggested that in another comment thread. The 13 round mags have been available since day 1 of the launch. I agree would be nice to get a larger magazine, 16 or 17 to compete with the sig 15 rounders. For 365 I have 15, 20 and 30. I would say its not necessary but because of the political climate I would be wrong.

If they only knew how many products of theirs you have sold for them and i've bought many pistols because of your videos. Ihave a TX22, g2c, g3c g3 and bought my gx4 today. Ihad to pay 413.00 out the door, Ill pay full price, cause I was very lucky to find it. What they sent in the box was a pistol keychain, I thought cool, but it is actually the take down tool to remove the slide, the mag on the tool is actually the screwdriner, too cool. PEACE!

So you want a video where someone intentionally pulls the trigger incorrectly in order to induce a malfunction? Hard pass. Triggers were not designed to be pulled diagonally to the rear. Thanks for watching though.
I'm digging the cosmetics of the GX4, same as the TX22. It would be very cool if they eventually offered a 15+ round 9mm version of the TX22.
The triggers are incredible for a striker, the mechanics is very similar in design to the Walther's PPQ triggers.
Kudos to Taurus for stepping up their quality and moving their company in the right direction!

I bought a gx4 mine shoots good and slide goes all the way into battery but when I’m cleaning it or rack it by hand and I don’t let slam back the slide doesn’t go alll the way forward I have to tap it for it to go all the way forward
Right, even when cycling it by hand, let it slam forward and it will go into battery.
