Mountain bike trail riding the popular Figure 8 in Dead Horse Ranch State Park by Cottonwood, Arizona. SUPPORT THE CHANNEL: www.buymeacoffee.com/beyx About me: stumptv.com/
Sedona is great, don't get me wrong, but dead horse ranch is freaking awesome! They are both wonderful in their own way. I wrote dead horse last year when the Sedona mountain bike festival was snowed in. It's a fantastic place to get some miles on the bike. Great climbs, fun descent, and a little bit of tricky terrain goodness that boosts your confidence. This is a great ride, I'm so happy you are finding good stuff to do while the snow is falling up here in Colorado.
That is so disappointing! 😫 Everyone I met there seemed extremely nice. My neighbor even offered a ride, seeing that I was having troubles with the van.
I'm certain there are rattlesnakes in Arizona. We have them in southwest Colorado where I spend most of my time. That said, I've only encountered bull snakes, which look similar but are not poisonous, on trails. It's good to keep an eye out, but all in all, rattlesnakes seem to like to keep to themselves. If anyone else has better info on snakes in this area, please comment and help me out! Thanks!! 🤠
That looked super fun, thanks for sharing something beyond Sedona..
You’re SUPER welcome! I think Dead Horse will be a future staple when I’m in the area.
Great video and riding
Thanks! Those trails are a lot of fun!

And the whole State Park thing is the perfect combination for the whole family if they don’t all ride bikes! Thanks for the comment @SpokesmanMTB!
Great video! That is a trail that I will have to check out!
Thanks! It’s worth the visit!
Careful in cottonwood.
Lost my two week old locked ripmo off the back of my camper at the dead horse campground last March.
Love the area

That actually looked like some fun trails, a bit a climbing for ab average downhill though.
It could use a little more bang for the buck on the downhill, but all in all some great cross country riding! Fun is what you make it 😉
Are rattlesnakes any concern there or anywhere in AZ? Have you ever came across any snakes in your travels? Thanks for makings these videos!
