My parents loved visiting with you on this trail, their first hike in Yellowstone at age 71 inspired by you and your videos I share with them. Thanks for being you, kind, loving, caring, not in a hurry. You made their day! Thanks for inspiring us all!
Much gratitude for your efforts, Stan. For 69 of my 75 years, Yellowstone has been my favorite place on the planet, and you portray it far better than anyone. Thank you for sharing the beauty.
So beautiful. At 70 now, I used to hike Yellowstone with friends and did back country skiing. You videos bring back wonderful memories and allow me to see places I missed. Thank you for the beautiful videos.
One thing I particularly like is listening to the sound of your footsteps. The quieting of the birds. The leaves. I can recreate the smell. By the time I head north in two weeks we will have lost plenty of color. But this connection is so wonderful. See you wyomontanans soon.
Serenity! Thank you. Enjoyed my first cup of coffee watching Yellowstone. My magical place! 🙏
Mother Nature sure has some beautiful colors on her pallet to paint with.
What great captures of our gorgeous Yellowstone National Park!😍 Thank you!
Saved this all day. Now I’ve delighted to sit and listen as I sip a glass of wine. Thanks Stan.
Stan, you did a great job of capturing the fall colors. Thanks once again for taking us along on yet another beautiful adventure.
What nice way to start my Sunday morning, many thanks Stan
The sounds of a raven in your videos put me right back in the mountains. It’s something different to hear. So deep. Thanks Mr Stan
Stan, you’ve got a lot of guts. Hat’s off to you, my friend. RESPECT! Thanks for these beautiful treks into Yellowstone.
Wow what a way to start my morning what an eye you have or the LORD’s Beauty!! OMNIPOTENT!! God Bless an Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Man your videos are very calming . And you got alot of balls to be out there all by yourself haha I couldn't do it
The fall colors are spectacular!,
I love owls. Here in Florida the screech owls coo at night. Its so soothing.
Feel so much better now that I have had my weekly trek w/Stan!
Thanks.
Absolutely beautiful 😎🇺🇸
I worked in Yellowstone for 3 summers in the 70’s. It’s my favorite place. Your videos are amazing! Watching you also reminds me of a dear old friend Bob K. Who also worked in Yellowstone and took many beautiful photos. Thank you so much! 👍😊
Stan, I love all of you videos. I was on Slough Creek last year at the crack of dawn hiking in. I saw lots of animals but no bears. That’s ok. It was beautiful. Beautiful being alone enjoying Gods beauty. Thank you Stan. I would love to meet you one day, because you have been a great inspiration.
Thank you so much for this wonderful vid of the autumn colors and wildlife, spectacular. God's Blessings.
Thank you Stan!! Enjoy every second of every minute of every episode. Can't thank you enough for posting your hikes.
Stan use your zoom watch and film far side treelines across ponds etc for Sasquatch. Warning: Once you know they are watching you it changes everything.
Stan I enjoy watching your videos as they bring back memories of my youth as I lived there in the 60s and 70s
Love the hike and the beautiful Yellowstone mountains! Just getting back from a camp and hike this weekend! The elk was bugling all night around my camp thanks for sharing this with us we love❤👍👍
Fall is my favorite time of year, I love the Fall colors. Good video. 👍🏻😎
Wonderful, like always, Stan, with and extra dose of color.
Thank you and hello from Alberta. 👍😎🇨🇦🐾🪶
Love your videos. Back in high school, I did a lot of backpacking. My claim to fame was hiking the John Muir trail, Yosemite. Watching your videos reminds me of how much I miss the mountains. Thanks for bringing back great memories.
Mark, don't let things stop you from doing what you want to do. I hope you can find a way to get back out there.
Lovely. Heading there for the first time in September.
All I can say is incredible!!
yellowstone park it’s amazing
Thank you so much for sharing as you do. The fall colors are spectacular this year . It's nice down hear in Utah too .
Happy trails .
Thanks for sharing. Made my day a little brighter!
Such a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing
Gorgeous 👍 great time to hike. Fall time.
Living 30 minutes from the Smokies we are blessed to be so close to these national parks but what I would give to be a 1-2 hour drive from Yellowstone. Did the Teton Crest trail again this year but just not enough time to swing through Yellowstone! Will be back next year!
Breath taking beauty. Thank you Stan
Thank-you 🌻
Beautiful. Thank you, as always.
Wonderful. Reminds me of CBS Morning Charles Kuralt
Amazing Stan, really want to go back 🤟
Love the art work. You are blessed with a wonderful talent. I wish I had it. The videos are so great to relieve stress. Love them thank you🌾
So very beautiful; thank you Stan!
When I was a kid Im fascinated with bigfoot and sasquatch. But I as I grew older I started to see other beautiful things around over the world. Yellowstone NP is such a beautiful place, I'm more excited now to be in nature (although seeing bigfoot is a bonus) Thank you for the tour, take care always
Thanks so much for your videos.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I grew up going to Yellowstone but never remember seeing such exquisite fall colors. What did I miss?
Thanks Stan, for sharing your nature surroundings...Hopefully someday someone from a reputable television company catches a glimpse and takes notice, ..Who knows..? PS,...I just bought a deck of Playing cards for me & my wife with Bigfoot on them...I thought it was funny...Take care,...love your videos !!!
This was very helpful as I have been noticing overturned rocks along the trail the last couple of weeks along with digs around it. The rocks are way to big for anything but a bear. This is right at the start of the trail where they have placed rocks and not 300 yards in is the lake where I often see coyotes and have run into a beaver. At the time I had no idea that beavers can be dangerous if they perceive you as a threat! I am learning many things and it's quite fun! Your videos have been a great source of guidance and inspiration. I do understand that when I hike I do what feels right for me just as you are showing what works for you in your videos!
I am so glad to hear that hiking and exploring is opening up a whole new world and experiences for you. That is how it has always been for me.
Maybe you should think about making RUclips videos of what you are doing and start building a following.
@StanMills Yes! I was aware enough this morning to spot a beaver before he spotted me and so was able to watch him without disturbing him. Last time I didn't know he was there until I heard a loud splash and then he swam around in circles thumping his tail. I had to look up what that meant when I got home!
Oh so beautiful…..thank you so much!
So nice to meet you on the trail. Didn’t see wildlife but saw the beautiful fall environment of nature. We will be watching for more of your adventures. The Specimen Trail was the perfect one for us.
Yes, it was great to meet you. I hope you recognized that spot on the trail where the first grizzly tracks were at. Those are the tracks I was telling you about. The area of Specimen Creek is a very good area for grizzly bears. The problem with it though is that they are hard to spot because of all the trees. a couple years ago I woke up a bear by accident sleeping by the Specimen Creek trail about 3.5 miles up the trail. It happened so fast that I didn't get a chance to video it, but that happens from time to time.
@@StanMills we have caught the spirit of hiking. I’m sure that was one experience we will share and remember.
Great video.
Nice 5x5 skull nice ram skull amazes me how you just leave nature to be nature it would be hard for me to do but of course you're right beautiful place leave it be I can understand why you love it so 🤠🐝
My husband and I were hiking the southern half of YS a couple of weeks ago. We are coming again next year to explore more the northern half. What trail e you on this video? The fall colors are amazing in your video. Just wondering how you decide what camping accomodatiins to take with you?
Thanks for sharing the beautiful sights of Yellowstone during this time of season.Love your tent site setup. When you select an area to pitch your tent,do you consider old trees possibly falling on your tent?
Thanks 😊 🙏
Thanks again, Stan.
Having watched most of your videos, I don’t recall ever hearing you say what you do/did for a living. I’ve always wondered if you are involved with some sort of Wildlife Management or something like that…hope to hear, if you don’t mind sharing. Sorry if I’ve missed that discussion…
Just went through YELLOWSTONE 2 days ago....we thought of you. Motoring back to Fl now :-(
Hi Stan! Do you live close to the national park? My farther and I enjoy your videos and were talking about that it must be nice to live so close to the park that you can hike that often:-) Thank you for your wonderfull videos. Best regards - Nikolaj.
That teepee struture is sign of Bigfoot. x. 12:31
Maybe. Maybe not.
Hi Stan...amazing stuff. Just found your channel. My son and I would like to start hiking any advice on equipment and how to prepare? My son wants to know what kind of spotting scope and cameras to capture some of those awesome sights. Thanks again for posting beautiful stuff. I feel like I'm watching national geographic
Andrew, look at my description section of the video to see links to what scope and cameras I use. Thank you.
Fascinating video! What's the bird at 13:04?
Curious, Stan if the bears have hybernated or mostly hybernated by now?
What month was this in? We are going there the second week of September for 3 weeks. Was this in northern Yellowstone?
You said you’ve never seen Bigfoot or anything, but do you often see other hikers deep in Yellow Stone like yourself??
What trail was this?
Bigfoot is a Creation from a Prankster back in late 60s 70s Who after a few trips xmas holidays Came up with the idea of Bigfoot wooden feet
he took his mate then Family as the Fun got intense watching News reports on TV of his footprints and L8tr younger feet
they travel far & wide across USA to there Fav usa campsites Yes he mailed pics & then small out Focus videos to amuse the masses
Got be fun watching your Antics on the news :) Well thats Basically how bigfoot got Famous - B4 Him Nothing on news
Same as for UFO's a few pics videos people back then see something they didnt have a clue what tech was flying just said aliens :)
I do watch & read a lot of Documentrys how chit got started back in the old days Myths & legends Most always blown out of proportion .
OH always a good Video stan uno that cheers fella take care your yellowstone films r the best
Stan, what camera are you using.
Thank you for your nice comments. I use a Canon SX70 for video of animals. There is an Amazon link in the video description section. And I currently use a GoPro 7 for scenic video and video while walking. I hope to get a GoPro 10 soon. Thank you.
Great video ... is this in September or October ?
October 3
@@StanMills Thanks Stan ... I have another question because I am planning to visit Yellowstone this year ... I noticed you were using a tent but I was reading that tents are not allowed in Yellowstone Park. Can you use tents while on the trails in Yellowstone or am I reading this wrong ? ... I will really appreciate your help on this .. Thanks again Stan
@@raymondmendez8092 Yes. You use your tent while camping at the designated campsites. You have to get a backcountry permit for camping at the backcountry campsites. Make sure you read all about it on the Yellowstone website or call them.
@@StanMills Thanks again Stan .. you are scholar and a gentlemen !! 👍👍
I have watched and so enjoyed your videos, Stan. No music but just the sound of nature is great! One thing that strikes me in so many of your videos is how throughout most of the park we see the signs of the great Yellowstone fire of years ago! You see burned and fallen trees all over the place, even after all these years. Mother Nature is slowly healing. And another thing I've wondered about is that I know you carry bear spray on your hikes but have you ever thought of carrying a gun? Don't know if that's legal in our National Parks, probably not but when a charging grizzly can't be stopped by spray???? Jus sayin. Thank you for sharing your experience in our great National Park! God bless.
Can you drink that water?
I would zip that tent
8:10 Bigfoot - lower left of center.
So very funny..... I actually checked it out and you were right!
Good one ..😆👍
I saw it! Plain as day!
Ha, Ha. Yes, A Bigfoot. And a good one, too! : )
